John 11:40-45

Thomson(i) 40 Jesus saith to her, Did I not tell thee, if thou wouldst believe thou shouldst see the glory of God? 41 Then they removed the stone from where the deceased lay. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 Now I know that thou hearest me always; but I have said this for the sake of the people standing around, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, Come forth. 44 Whereupon he who had been dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped in a napkin. Jesus saith to them, Loose him and let him go. 45 Upon this many of the Jews who had come to Mary, when they saw what Jesus had done, believed in him.
