Luke 6:6-11

Thomson(i) 6 It happened also on another sabbath, when he went to the synagogue and taught, that there was a man there, whose right hand was withered. 7 And the Scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would perform a cure on the sabbath day, that they might find matter of accusation against him. 8 Now he knew their thoughts. Therefore when he had said to the man who had the withered hand, Rise and stand in the midst; and he had risen, and was standing there; 9 Jesus said to them, Let me ask you what is allowable on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy"? 10 Then having looked around on them all, he said to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so. And his hand was restored sound as the other. 11 Upon this they were filled with madness, and spoke one to another what they should do to Jesus.
