And the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. ¹⁴ The second woe passed away; and behold the third woe cometh quickly. ¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of the world are become [the kingdom] of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for the ages of the ages. ¹⁶ And the four and twenty elders who were seated on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshipped God, ¹⁷ saying, "We thank thee O Lord, the God, the Almighty who is and who was and who is to come, because thou hast assumed thy great power and commenced thy reign. ¹⁸ The nations indeed were enraged and thy wrath came and the time for the dead to be avenged and for giving the reward to thy servants the teachers and to the saints and to them who fear thy name, small and great, and for destroying them who destroy the earth. ¹⁹ And the temple of God in heaven was opened; and the ark of his covenant in his temple was seen. And there were lightnings and noises and thunders and an earthquake and great hail.
