Romans 8:17-23

Thomson(i) 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ if we suffer with him so that with him we may also be glorified. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be set against that glory which is about to be revealed for us. 19 For the earnest expectation of mankind is waiting for the manifestation of the children of God. 20 For to vanity this creation was subjected, not as a voluntary agent, but by him who subjected it to a hope 21 that this very creation shall be freed from the slavery of this corruption, that it may enjoy the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that this whole creation are groaning together, and even till now are all in pain as a woman in travail. 23 Nay, even they who have the first fruits of the spirit, even we ourselves are groaning within ourselves, waiting for an adoption the redemption of this body of ours.
