Romans 9:24-30

Thomson(i) 24 even us whom he hath called not only from among the Jews, but also from among the Gentiles. 25 As he actually saith by Hosea, "I will call them my people who are not my people; and I will call her beloved, who was not beloved." 26 And it shall come to pass that in the place where it was said to them, You are not my people, they shall there be called children of the7 living God." 27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, "Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, this remnant shall be saved." 28 For he is closing an account and making a deduction with saving goodness. Because the Lord will make with the land a reckoning from which a deduction is made, 29 therefore as Esaias said. "Had not the Lord of hosts left us a seed, we must have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah." 30 What then are we to infer? That the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, but it was a righteousness because of belief;
