Micah 4

VIN(i) 1 But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it. 2 And many nations will come and say, "Come! Let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the temple of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways, and that we may walk in his paths," for the law will go out from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 3 And he will judge between many peoples and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. And they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning-hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war any more. 4 Each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid! The mouth of the LORD Almighty has spoken. 5 Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. 6 In that day, says the LORD, I will gather the lame, and I will gather the banished, and the one I have afflicted. 7 "I will make the lame a remnant and the outcast far off a strong nation. the LORD will reign over them in mount Zion from now on and forever. 8 And you, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem. 9 Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pain has gripped you like a woman in labor? 10 Writhe and groan, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor. For now you will go forth from the city, and you will camp in the field; you will go to Babylon. There you will be rescued; there the LORD will redeem you from the hand of your enemies. 11 Now also many nations are gathered against you, who say, Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look on Zion. 12 But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD, and they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them as sheaves to his threshing floor. 13 Rise up and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze, and you shall crush many peoples. And I will devote their gain to the LORD, and their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
