James 1:22-27

  22 G1161 But G1096 [G5737] be ye G4163 doers G3056 of the word G2532 , and G3361 not G202 hearers G3440 only G3884 [G5740] , deceiving G1438 your own selves.

  23 G3754 For G1536 if any G2076 [G5748] is G202 a hearer G3056 of the word G2532 , and G3756 not G4163 a doer G3778 , he G1503 [G5758] is like G435 a man G2657 [G5723] beholding G846 his G1078 natural G4383 face G1722 in G2072 a mirror:

  24 G1063 For G2657 [G5656] he beholdeth G1438 himself G2532 , and G565 [G5754] goeth away G2532 , and G2112 immediately G1950 [G5633] forgetteth G3697 what manner of man G2258 [G5713] he was.

  25 G1161 But G3879 [G5660] he who looketh G1519 into G5046 the perfect G3551 law G1657 of liberty G2532 , and G3887 [G5660] continueth G3778 in it, he G1096 [G5637] being G3756 not G1953 a forgetful G202 hearer G235 , but G4163 a doer G2041 of the work G3778 , this man G2071 [G5704] shall be G3107 blessed G1722 in G846 his G4162 deed.

  26 G1536 If any man G1722 among G5213 you G1380 [G5719] seemeth G1511 [G5750] to be G2357 religious G5468 [G5723] , and bridleth G3361 not G846 his G1100 tongue G235 , but G538 [G5723] deceiveth G846 his own G2588 heart G5127 , this man's G2356 religion G3152 is vain.

  27 G2513 Pure G2356 religion G2532 and G283 undefiled G3844 before G2316 God G2532 and G3962 the Father G2076 [G5748] is G3778 this G1980 [G5738] , To visit G3737 the fatherless G2532 and G5503 widows G1722 in G846 their G2347 affliction G5083 [G5721] , and to keep G1438 himself G784 unspotted G575 from G2889 the world.
