4 he that opposes himself against, and exalts himself above, all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits in the temple of God, exhibiting himself as God.
5 Do ye not remember that, when I was yet with you, I was wont to tell you these things?
6 And now ye know what hinders his being revealed in his own season;
7 for the mystery of lawlessness is already working: only He Who hindereth will hinder, until He is taken out of the midst.
8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth, and will bring to nought by the manifestation of His presence;
