Romans 11:7-12

Worrell(i) 7 What, then? What Israel is seeking for, this he did not obtain; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened; 8 as it has been written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this day." 9 And David says, "Let their table be a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling-block, and a recompense to them: 10 let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always." 11 I Say, then, did they stumble, that they might fall? It could not be! But by their trespass salvation has come to the gentiles to provoke them to rivalry. 12 Now, if their trespass is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the gentiles, how much more their fulness?
