Worsley⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And as He went into the house of one of the chief of the pharisees to eat on the sabbath-day, and they were watching Him, ² behold, there was a certain man before Him that had a dropsy. ³ And Jesus spake to the expounders of the law and to the pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath-day? ⁴ but they made no answer. And He took him and healed him, and sent him away: ⁵ and said unto them, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fall into a pit, and will not immediately draw him out even on the sabbath-day? ⁶ and they were not able to answer Him again to these things.
