¹⁹ When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the ship; and they were afraid.

²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night he went to them, walking on the sea. ²⁶ And the disciples, seeing him walking on the sea, were troubled, saying: It is a spectre. And they cried out for fear.

⁴⁷ And when evening was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land. ⁴⁸ And he saw them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them. And about the fourth watch of the night he comes to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed by them. ⁴⁹ And they seeing him walking on the sea, supposed it was a spectre, and cried out;

¹³ And, behold, two of them were going on that same day to a village called Emmaus, distant sixty furlongs from Jerusalem.

³⁶ And while they were speaking these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and says to them: Peace be to you. ³⁷ But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit. ³⁸ And he said to them: Why are ye troubled? And wherefore do thoughts arise in your hearts? ³⁹ See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

²⁰ And the wine-press was trodden without the city, and blood came forth out of the wine-press, even to the bits of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

¹⁶ And the city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length, and the breadth, and the height of it are equal.
