¹⁶ and so cause them to bear the iniquity that brings guilt when they eat their holy things, for I am LORD who sanctifies them.

¹⁸ And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it shall not be accepted, nor shall it be imputed to him who offers it. It shall be an abomination, and the soul that eats of it shall bear his iniquity.

⁸ And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am LORD who sanctifies you.

⁹ They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die in it if they profane it. I am LORD who sanctifies them.

⁴ For my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

¹¹ He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied. By the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many, and he shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors. Yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
