¹ Oh give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name;
Make known among the peoples his doings.

²³ Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob;
Neither is there any divination with Israel:
Now shall it be said of Jacob and of Israel,
What hath God wrought!

⁷ Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto Jehovah, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren. ⁸ O give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name;
Make known his doings among the peoples. ⁹ Sing unto him, sing praises unto him;
Talk ye of all his marvellous works. ¹⁰ Glory ye in his holy name;
Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah. ¹¹ Seek ye Jehovah and his strength;
Seek his face evermore. ¹² Remember his marvellous works that he hath done,
His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, ¹³ O ye seed of Israel his servant,
Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. ¹⁴ He is Jehovah our God;
His judgments are in all the earth. ¹⁵ Remember his covenant for ever,
The word which he commanded to a thousand generations, ¹⁶ [The covenant] which he made with Abraham,
And his oath unto Isaac, ¹⁷ And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute,
To Israel for an everlasting covenant, ¹⁸ Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan,
The lot of your inheritance; ¹⁹ When ye were but a few men in number,
Yea, very few, and sojourners in it; ²⁰ And they went about from nation to nation,
And from one kingdom to another people. ²¹ He suffered no man to do them wrong;
Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, ²² [Saying], Touch not mine anointed ones,
And do my prophets no harm.

³⁴ O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good;
For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.

³ Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Jehovah.

¹³ Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

²⁰ And David said to all the assembly, Now bless Jehovah your God. And all the assembly blessed Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped Jehovah, and the king.

I will sing of the lovingkindness of Jehovah for ever:
With my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

³ Declare his glory among the nations,
His marvellous works among all the peoples.

⁶ Moses and Aaron among his priests,
And Samuel among them that call upon his name;
They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

¹ Praise ye Jehovah.

⁴ One generation shall laud thy works to another,
And shall declare thy mighty acts. ⁵ Of the glorious majesty of thine honor,
And of thy wondrous works, will I meditate. ⁶ And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts;
And I will declare thy greatness.

¹¹ They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom,
And talk of thy power; ¹² To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts,
And the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

⁴ And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

¹⁰ Is it not thou that driedst up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that madest the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

²⁹ Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other god that is able to deliver after this sort.

¹ Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all the peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied unto you. ² It hath seemed good unto me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God hath wrought toward me. ³ How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

²⁶ I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, And his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed; and his dominion shall be even unto the end. ²⁷ He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

³² And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.

¹⁴ and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call upon thy name.

¹³ for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
