¹ I am a rose of Sharon,
A lily of the valleys.

¹¹ Truth springeth out of the earth;
And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

¹⁶ My beloved is mine, and I am his:
He feedeth [his flock] among the lilies.

¹³ His cheeks are as a bed of spices,
[As] banks of sweet herbs:
His lips are [as] lilies, dropping liquid myrrh.

³ I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine:
He feedeth [his flock] among the lilies.

¹ The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. ² It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon: they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God.

¹⁵ For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

⁵ I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
