¹⁷ Καὶ (And) δεξάμενος (having received) ποτήριον (the cup), εὐχαριστήσας (having given thanks), εἶπεν (He said), “Λάβετε (Take) τοῦτο (this), καὶ (and) διαμερίσατε (divide it) εἰς (among) ἑαυτούς (yourselves).

¹⁶ Λαβὼν (Having taken) δὲ (then) τοὺς (the) πέντε (five) ἄρτους (loaves) καὶ (and) τοὺς (the) δύο (two) ἰχθύας (fish), ἀναβλέψας (having looked up) εἰς (to) τὸν (the) οὐρανὸν (heaven), εὐλόγησεν (He blessed) αὐτοὺς (them) καὶ (and) κατέκλασεν (broke them), καὶ (and) ἐδίδου (He kept giving them) τοῖς (to the) μαθηταῖς (disciples) παραθεῖναι (to set before) τῷ (the) ὄχλῳ (crowd).

¹⁹ Καὶ (And) λαβὼν (having taken) ἄρτον (the bread), εὐχαριστήσας (having given thanks), ἔκλασεν (He broke it) καὶ (and) ἔδωκεν (gave) αὐτοῖς (to them), λέγων (saying), “Τοῦτό (This) ἐστιν (is) τὸ (the) σῶμά (body) μου (of Me), τὸ (which) ὑπὲρ (for) ὑμῶν (you) διδόμενον (is given); τοῦτο (this) ποιεῖτε (do) εἰς (in) τὴν (the) ἐμὴν (of Me) ἀνάμνησιν (remembrance),”

⁶ ὁ (The one) φρονῶν (regarding) τὴν (the) ἡμέραν (day), Κυρίῳ (to the Lord) φρονεῖ (regards it); ὁ (the one) ἐσθίων (eating), Κυρίῳ (to the Lord) ἐσθίει (eats), εὐχαριστεῖ (he gives thanks) γὰρ (for) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God); καὶ (and) ὁ (the one) μὴ (not) ἐσθίων (eating), Κυρίῳ (to the Lord) οὐκ (not) ἐσθίει (he eats), καὶ (and) εὐχαριστεῖ (he gives thanks) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God).

⁴ ὅτι (For) πᾶν (every) κτίσμα (creature) Θεοῦ (of God) καλόν (is good), καὶ (and) οὐδὲν (nothing is) ἀπόβλητον (to be rejected), μετὰ (with) εὐχαριστίας (thanksgiving) λαμβανόμενον (being received); ⁵ ἁγιάζεται (it is sanctified) γὰρ (for) διὰ (by) λόγου (the word) Θεοῦ (of God) καὶ (and) ἐντεύξεως (prayer).
