7 Εἰ (If) δὲ (however) ἐγνώκειτε (you had known) τί (what) ἐστιν (is), ‘Ἔλεος (Mercy) θέλω (I desire) καὶ (and) οὐ (not) θυσίαν (sacrifice),’ οὐκ (not) ἂν (-) κατεδικάσατε (you would have condemned) τοὺς (the) ἀναιτίους (guiltless).
