³ since you seek proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you but is powerful among you.

²⁰ for you are not those speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

¹⁸ Truly I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on the earth shall have been loosed in heaven. ¹⁹ Again truly I say to you that if two of you on the earth might agree concerning any matter that they shall ask, it will be done for them by My Father who is in the heavens. ²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together unto My name, there am I in their midst.”

¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all those opposing you will not be able to resist nor to reply to.

⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus, of you having been gathered together and of me in spirit, with the power of the Lord Jesus, ⁵ to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

¹ Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? ² If I am not an apostle to others, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. ³ This is my defense to those examining me:

⁶ The punishment which is by the majority is sufficient to such a one,

¹⁰ Now to whomever you forgive anything, I also do; and indeed to whom I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, it is for the sake of you, in the person of Christ,

¹ Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or like some, do we need commendatory letters to you or from you? ² You are our letter, having been inscribed in our hearts, being known and being read by all men, ³ being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, having been ministered to by us, having been inscribed not in ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts.

⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but divinely powerful toward the demolition of strongholds,

⁸ For even if I should boast somewhat more abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord has given us for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be ashamed, ⁹ so that I might not seem as if to frighten you by means of the letters. ¹⁰ For they say, “The letters indeed are weighty and strong, but the presence of the body is weak, and the speech having been ignored.”

¹² For the signs of the apostle were performed among you in all perseverance, and in signs, and wonders, and miracles.
