¹² On the next day the great crowd having come to the feast, having heard that Jesus is coming into Jerusalem,

⁴ And this came to pass, that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken by the prophet, saying, ⁵ “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King comes to you, gentle and mounted on a donkey, even upon a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’” ⁶ And the disciples having gone and having done as Jesus commanded them, ⁷ brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks upon them, and He sat on them. ⁸ And the very great crowd spread their the cloaks on the road, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading them on the road. ⁹ And the crowds going before Him and those following were crying out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!”

⁷ And they led the colt to Jesus, and they cast upon it their cloaks, and He sat on it. ⁸ And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others, branches having been cut down from the fields. ⁹ And those going before and those following were crying out: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” ¹⁰ “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father, David!” “Hosanna in the highest!”

³⁵ And they led it to Jesus, and having cast their garments on the colt, they put Jesus on it. ³⁶ And as He is going, they were spreading their garments on the road. ³⁷ And as He is drawing near, already at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples rejoicing, began to praise God in a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, ³⁸ saying: “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

⁵⁵ Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went up to Jerusalem out of the region before the Passover, so that they might purify themselves. ⁵⁶ Therefore they were seeking Jesus and were saying among one another standing in the temple, “What does it seem to you, that He will not come to the feast?”
