¹³ took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and were shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “And the King of Israel!”

⁹ And the crowds going before Him and those following were crying out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” ¹⁰ And of Him having entered into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” ¹¹ And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet, Jesus, the One from Nazareth of Galilee.”

³⁹ For I say to you, you shall not see Me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord.’”

⁸ And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others, branches having been cut down from the fields. ⁹ And those going before and those following were crying out: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” ¹⁰ “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father, David!” “Hosanna in the highest!”

³⁵ And they led it to Jesus, and having cast their garments on the colt, they put Jesus on it. ³⁶ And as He is going, they were spreading their garments on the road. ³⁷ And as He is drawing near, already at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples rejoicing, began to praise God in a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, ³⁸ saying: “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are King of Israel.”

¹⁵ “Fear not, daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes, sitting on a colt of a donkey.”

¹⁵ So they cried out, “Away with Him, away! Crucify Him!” Pilate says to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

¹⁹ And Pilate also wrote a title and put it on the cross. And it was written, Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. ²⁰ Therefore many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek. ²¹ Therefore the chief priests of the Jews were saying to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that He said, ‘I am King of the Jews.’” ²² Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number it, out of every nation, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands.

³ And they are singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and wonderful are Your works, Lord God the Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!

¹⁶ And He has a name having been written upon the robe and upon His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
