³ And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This one blasphemes!”

⁶⁵ Then the high priest tears his garments, saying, “He has blasphemed; why do we have any more need of witnesses? Behold now, you have heard the blasphemy.

⁶ And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, ⁷ “Why does this man speak thus? He blasphemes! Who is able to forgive sins, except God alone?”
