³² The Christ, the King of Israel, let Him descend now from the cross, that we might see and believe!” And those being crucified with Him were upbraiding Him.

¹⁷ So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

⁴⁴ And likewise even the robbers, those having been crucified with Him, were upbraiding Him.

⁶¹ But He was silent, and did not answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and says to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” ⁶² And Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

²⁶ And there was the inscription of the accusation against Him, having been written: The King of the Jews.

³⁹ And one of the criminals having been hanged was railing at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” ⁴⁰ And the other answering, was rebuking him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, that you are under the same judgment, ⁴¹ and we indeed justly? For we are receiving things worthy of what we did, but this man did nothing wrong.” ⁴² And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” ⁴³ And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are King of Israel.”

¹³ took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and were shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!” “And the King of Israel!”

¹² Out of this, Pilate was seeking to release Him; but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you release this man, you are not a friend of Caesar. Everyone making himself a king speaks against Caesar.” ¹³ Therefore Pilate, having heard these words, brought Jesus out and sat down upon the judgment seat at a place called The Stone Pavement, and in Hebrew, Gabbatha. ¹⁴ Now it was the Day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he says to the Jews, “Behold your king!” ¹⁵ So they cried out, “Away with Him, away! Crucify Him!” Pilate says to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

²⁵ So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hands into His side, I will never believe.” ²⁶ And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them, the doors having been shut. Jesus comes, and He stood in the midst and said, “Peace to you.” ²⁷ Then He says to Thomas, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands; and bring your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.” ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” ²⁹ Jesus says to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those not having seen, yet having believed.”

³ What if indeed some disbelieved? Will their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

¹⁸ who have gone astray concerning the truth, asserting the resurrection already to have taken place; and they are overthrowing the faith of some.
