¹ Now Jesus having been born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, ² saying, “Where is the One having been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

¹⁶ And immediately, having been baptized, Jesus went up from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and alighting upon Him.

²⁷ And Jesus passing on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.”

²² And behold, a Canaanite woman from the same region having approached, was crying out saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is miserably possessed by a demon.”

⁴² saying, “What do you think concerning the Christ? Of whom is He son?” They say to Him, “Of David.” ⁴³ He says to them, “How then does David in spirit call Him Lord, saying: ⁴⁴ ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet.”’ ⁴⁵ If therefore David calls Him Lord, how is He his son?”

³¹ And behold, you will conceive in womb, and will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus. ³² He will be great, and He will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,

⁴² Has not the Scripture said that Christ comes out of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”

³⁰ being therefore a prophet and knowing that God swore to him with an oath to set out of the fruit of his loins upon his throne.

²² And having removed him, He raised up David to them as king, to whom also He said, having carried witness: ‘I have found David the son of Jesse a man according to My heart, who will do all My will.’ ²³ Of the seed of this man, according to promise, God raised up to Israel the Savior, Jesus—

³ concerning His Son, having come of the seed of David according to flesh,

¹³ For the promise was to Abraham or his descendants that he should be heir of the world, not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

⁵ whose are the patriarchs; and from whom is Christ according to the flesh, being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.

¹⁶ Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It does not say “and to seeds” as of many but “and to your seed” as of One, who is Christ.

¹⁶ “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to all of you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.”

⁷ Nor because they are seed of Abraham are all children. Rather, “In Isaac your offspring will be named.” ⁸ That is, the children of the flesh, these are not children of God; but the children of the promise are regarded as offspring. ⁹ For this is the word of the promise: “At this time I will come, and to Sarah there will be a son.” ¹⁰ And not only so, but also Rebecca, having conception by one, Isaac our father, ¹¹ for they not yet having been born nor having done anything good or evil, so that the purpose of God according to election might stand, ¹² not of works, but of the One calling, it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger.” ¹³ As it has been written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

¹⁴ For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Judah, a tribe as to which Moses spoke nothing concerning priests.

¹¹ By faith also Sarah, herself barren, received power for the conception of seed, even beyond the opportune age, since she considered the One having promised faithful.

¹⁷ By faith Abraham, being tested, has offered up Isaac. Even the one having received the promises was offering up his only begotten son, ¹⁸ as to whom it was said, “In Isaac your offspring will be reckoned,”

¹⁷ Therefore of them being gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom want you that I shall release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ?”

²² Pilate says to them, “What then should I do with Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all say, “Let Him be crucified.”

³ Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him.

²⁷ to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the name of the virgin was Mary.

³¹ And behold, you will conceive in womb, and will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus. ³² He will be great, and He will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, ³³ and He will reign over the house of Jacob to the ages. ⁷ And she brought forth her firstborn son, and she wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring good news to you of great joy, which will be to all the people. ¹¹ For today in the City of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord.

⁴⁸ And having seen Him, they were astonished, and His mother said to Him, “Child why have You done thus to us? Behold, Your father and I were seeking You, distressing.”

²³ And Jesus beginning, was Himself about thirty years old, being son as was supposed, of Joseph, of Heli,

²² And all were bearing witness to Him and marveling at the grace of the words that are proceeding out of His mouth. And they were saying, “Is this not the son of Joseph?”

²⁵ The woman says to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ; when He comes, He will tell us all things.”

² And John, having heard in prison the works of the Christ, having sent two of his disciples,

²⁵ “Thus the Lord has done to me, in the days in which He looked upon me to take away my disgrace among men.”

²⁷ to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the name of the virgin was Mary. ²⁸ And having come to her, he said, “Greetings, you favored with grace! The Lord is with you.” ²⁹ And she was troubled at the statement and was pondering what kind this salutation might be. ³⁰ And the angel said to her, “Fear not, Mary; for you have found favor with God. ³¹ And behold, you will conceive in womb, and will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus. ³² He will be great, and He will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, ³³ and He will reign over the house of Jacob to the ages. And of His kingdom there will be no end!” ³⁴ And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I do not know a man?” ³⁵ And the angel answering, said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore also the Holy One being born will be called the Son of God. ³⁶ And behold your relative Elizabeth, she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her who was called barren. ³⁷ For nothing will be impossible with God.” ³⁸ And Mary said, “Behold, the Lord’s handmaid. May it happen to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

⁴ But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, having been born of a woman, having been born under the Law, ⁵ that He might redeem those under the Law, so that we might receive the divine adoption as sons.

²⁶ For such a high priest indeed was fitting for us, holy, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens,

⁵ Therefore coming into the world, He says: “Sacrifice and offering You have not desired, but a body You have prepared me.

²⁰ For Herod was afraid of John, knowing him a righteous and holy man; and he kept him safe. And having heard him, he was greatly perplexed, and heard him gladly.

⁴ And they said, “Moses permitted to write a roll of divorce, and to send her away.”

²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

⁴ they say to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act, committing adultery. ⁵ Now in the Law Moses commanded us such to be stoned. You therefore, what do You say?”

²² And they said, “Cornelius a centurion, a righteous and God fearing man—and being well testified to by the whole nation of the Jews—was divinely instructed by a holy angel to send for you to his house and to hear a message from you.”

¹⁹ But of Herod having died, behold, an angel of the Lord appears in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

²² And having heard that Archelaus reigns over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And having been divinely warned in a dream, he withdrew into the district of Galilee.

⁵ And the angel answering said to the women, “Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus, the One having been crucified.

¹⁰ And the whole multitude of the people were praying outside at the hour of the incense. ¹¹ And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right of the altar of the incense. ¹² And having seen him, Zechariah was troubled, and fear fell upon him. ¹³ And the angel said to him, “Fear not, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard, and Your wife Elizabeth will bear to you a son, and you shall call his name John.

¹⁹ And the angel answering, said to him, “I am Gabriel, the one standing before God; and I was sent to speak to you, and to bring these glad tidings to you.

²⁶ And in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee whose name was Nazareth,

¹³ And the angel said to him, “Fear not, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard, and Your wife Elizabeth will bear to you a son, and you shall call his name John.

³¹ And behold, you will conceive in womb, and will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus.

²⁶ God, having raised up His servant, sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each of you from your wickednesses.”

¹² And there is salvation in no other, for there is not another name under heaven having been given among men, by which it behooves us to be saved.”

³¹ God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

²³ Of the seed of this man, according to promise, God raised up to Israel the Savior, Jesus—

³⁸ Therefore be it known to you, men, brothers, that through this One, forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. ³⁹ And in Him everyone believing is justified from all things from which you were not able to be justified in the Law of Moses.

²⁵ Husbands, love the wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, ²⁶ so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ so that He might present to Himself the church in glory, not having spot or wrinkle or any of the such things, but that it would be holy and blameless.

²⁰ and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace by the blood of His cross through Him, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens. ²¹ And you, being once alienated and hostile in mind, in the evil deeds, ²² but now He has reconciled in His body of flesh through death, to present you holy and unblemished and blameless before Him, ²³ if indeed you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul have become a minister.

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and might purify to Himself a people specially chosen, zealous of good works.

²⁵ wherefore also He is able to save to the uttermost those drawing near to God through Him, always living for to intercede for them.

⁷ But if we should walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

¹ My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you might not sin. And if anyone should sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One. ² And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

⁵ And you know that He appeared, so that He might take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the One loving us and releasing us from our sins through His blood, ⁶ and He has made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion to the ages of the ages. Amen.

¹⁴ And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵ and there he remained until the death of Herod, so that it might be fulfilled what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I have called my Son.”

²³ And having come, he dwelt in a city being called Nazareth, so that it should be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophets, that “He will be called a Nazarene.”

¹⁷ Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

¹⁷ so that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “He Himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”

¹⁷ so that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying:

²¹ And he has in himself no root, but is temporary. And having come tribulation or persecution on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

³⁵ so that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken by the prophet, saying: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”

²² For these are the days of avenging, to fulfill all things having been written.

⁴⁴ And He said unto to them, “These are my words, which I spoke to you being still with you, that all things having been written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, it behooves to be fulfilled.”

³⁵ If he called them gods to whom the word of God came, and the Scripture is not able to be broken,

³⁸ so that word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, that said: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” ³⁹ Because of this, they were not able to believe, for again Isaiah said: ⁴⁰ “He has blinded their eyes, and has hardened their heart, that they should not see with the eyes, and understand with the heart, and turn, and I will heal them.”

²⁵ But this is that the word having been written in their Law may be fulfilled: ‘They hated Me without cause.’

¹² When I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me. And I guarded them, and none of them has perished, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

⁹ so that the word that He had spoken might be fulfilled, “Those whom You have given Me, I have lost none of them, not one.”

³⁶ For these things took place so that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one bone of Him will be broken.” ³⁷ And again, another Scripture says: “They will look on the One they have pierced.”

¹⁸ But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ should suffer, He has thus fulfilled.

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers, not having known Him and the voices of the prophets that are being read on every Sabbath, having condemned Him, they fulfilled them. ²⁸ And having found no cause of death, they begged Pilate to put Him to death. ²⁹ And when they had finished all the things having been written about Him, having taken Him down from the tree, they put Him in a tomb.

¹⁷ For God has put into their hearts to accomplish His purpose, and to do one purpose, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.”

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld His glory, a glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

⁹ Now the Lord said to Paul through a vision in the night, “Do not fear, but continue speaking, and do not be silent,

³ concerning His Son, having come of the seed of David according to flesh, ⁴ having been declared the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord,

¹⁹ how that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation.

¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: Who was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation would be fully accomplished, and all the Gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

²² The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.

⁵ His mother says to the servants, “Whatever He may say to you, do it.” ⁶ Now there were six stone water jars standing there, according to the purification of the Jews, having space for two or three metretae. ⁷ Jesus says to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. ⁸ And He says to them, “Now draw some out and carry it to the master of the feast.” And they carried it.

¹⁴ You are My friends, if you do what I command you.

⁷ By faith Noah, having been divinely instructed concerning the things not yet seen, having been moved with fear, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is according to faith. ⁸ By faith Abraham, being called to go out into a place that he was going to receive for an inheritance, obeyed and went out, not knowing where he is going.

²⁴ By faith Moses, having become grown, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, ²⁵ having chosen to suffer affliction with the people of God, rather than to have the fleeting enjoyment of sin, ²⁶ having esteemed the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking toward the reward. ²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not having feared the anger of the king; for he persevered, as seeing the Invisible One. ²⁸ By faith he has kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that the one destroying the firstborn would not touch them. ²⁹ By faith they passed through the Red Sea as through dry land, which the Egyptians, an attempt having made, were swallowed up. ³⁰ By faith the walls of Jericho fell, having been encircled for seven days. ³¹ By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those having disobeyed, having received the spies with peace.

²¹ Was not Abraham our father justified by works, having offered his son Isaac upon the altar? ²² You see that his faith was working with his works, and by his works, his faith was perfected. ²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled, saying, “And Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God. ²⁴ You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone. ²⁵ And likewise was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works, having received the messengers and having sent them forth by another way? ²⁶ For just as the body apart from spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

²¹ And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

²⁹ because those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be firstborn among many brothers.
