⁸ And immediately Jesus, having known in His spirit that they are reasoning thus within themselves, says to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

⁴ And Jesus, having known their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

²¹ For from within the heart of men go forth evil thoughts, sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries,

²² And Jesus, having known their reasonings, answering, said to them, “Why do you reason in your hearts?

⁸ And He knew their thoughts, and He said to the man having the withered hand, “Arise and stand in the midst.” And having risen up, he stood.

³⁹ And the Pharisee, the one having invited Him, having seen, spoke within himself, saying, “If this were a prophet, He would have known who and what the woman is who touches Him; for she is a sinner.” ⁴⁰ And answering, Jesus said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he says, “Teacher, say it.”

³⁸ And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts come up in your hearts?

²⁴ But Jesus on His part did not did entrust Himself to them, because of His knowing all men, ²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.

²³ And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am the One searching affections and hearts; and I will give to each of you according to your works.
