¹³ And He goes up on the mountain and calls near those whom He Himself wanted, and they went to Him.

¹ And having seen the crowds, He went up on the mountain. And He having sat down, His disciples came to Him,

¹ And having summoned His twelve disciples, He gave to them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out and to heal every disease and every sickness. ² And these are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew; and James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John; ³ Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; ⁴ Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one also having betrayed Him.

⁷ And He calls to Him the Twelve, and He began to send them forth two by two, and He gave to them authority over the unclean spirits.

¹² And it came to pass in those days, He went out to the mountain to pray, and He was spending the night in prayer to God. ¹³ And when it became day, He summoned His disciples, also having chosen out from them twelve, whom also He named apostles: ¹⁴ Simon whom He also named Peter, and his brother Andrew; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew; ¹⁵ and Matthew and Thomas; and James son of Alphaeus; and Simon the one called Zealot; ¹⁶ and Judas son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who became the betrayer.
