² “I am moved with compassion upon the crowd, because they continue with Me three days already, and have nothing that they might eat.

² And having fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. ³ And the one tempting, having come to Him, said “If You are Son of God, speak, that these stones may become loaves of bread.” ⁴ But answering He said, “It has been written: ‘The man shall live not by bread alone, but by every word coming out of the mouth of God.’”

³² For the Gentiles seek after all these things. For your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of them all. ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

³⁶ And having seen the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were wearied and cast away, as sheep not having a shepherd.

¹⁴ And having gone out, He saw a great crowd and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.

³⁴ And having been moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they received sight, and they followed Him.

¹⁷ Therefore it behooved Him to be made like the brothers in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one having been tempted in all things by the same way, without sin.
