¹⁹ Everyone hearing the word of the kingdom and not understanding, the evil one comes and snatches away that having been sown in his heart. This is the one having been sown on the path.

²³ And He was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

³⁷ But let your statement ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more than these comes from evil.

³⁸ and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one;

¹⁵ And these are those along the road, where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word having been sown in them.

¹¹ And the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. ¹² And those along the road are those having heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, lest having believed, they should be saved. ¹³ And those upon the rock are those who receive the word with joy when they hear; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of testing fall away. ¹⁴ And that having fallen into the thorns, these are those having heard, and moving along are choked under the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and do not mature. ¹⁵ And that in the good soil, these are those who, having heard the word, keep it in a worthy and good heart and bring forth fruit by perseverance.

² and He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

⁹ And heal the sick in it, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.’

¹⁹ And this is the judgement, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, so that his works may not be exposed;

⁴³ Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to hear My word.

³⁸ Pilate says to Him, “What is truth?” And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and says to them, “I find no guilt in Him.

³² Now having heard of a resurrection of the dead, some indeed began to mock him, but some said, “We will hear you concerning this again also.”

¹⁵ But if it is a question about a word, and names, and in reference to your law, you will see to it yourselves. I resolve not to be a judge of these things.”

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that all of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face no more.

²⁵ And of him reasoning concerning righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment, Felix, having become frightened, answered, “Go away for the present, and having found opportunity, I will call for you.” ²⁶ At the same time also he is hoping that riches will be given him by Paul. So also sending for him often, he was talking with him.

¹⁹ But they had certain questions against him concerning their own religion and concerning a certain Jesus having been dead, whom Paul was affirming to be alive. ²⁰ Now I, being perplexed concerning this inquiry, was asking if he was willing to go to Jerusalem and there to be judged concerning these things.

³¹ and having withdrawn, they began speaking to one another, saying, “This man is doing nothing worthy of death or of chains.” ³² Then Agrippa was saying to Festus, “This man could have been released if he had not appealed to Caesar.”

²³ Then having appointed him a day, many came to him to the lodging, to whom he expounded from morning to evening, fully testifying to the kingdom of God and persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.

²⁸ And as they did not see fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do things not being proper;

⁸ but to those of self-interest and disobeying the truth, but being persuaded about unrighteousness, wrath and anger;

¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

² But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor falsifying the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man’s conscience before God. ³ But if indeed our gospel is concealed, it is concealed to those who are perishing,

⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ

¹² in order that all those not having believed the truth but having delighted in unrighteousness should be judged.

¹ Because of this, it behooves us to give heed more abundantly to the things we have heard, lest ever we should drift away.

¹³ I am writing to you, fathers because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, little children, because you know the Father. ¹⁴ I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

¹² not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his works were evil, but those of his brother, righteous.

¹⁸ We know that everyone having been born of God does not continue to sin, but the One having been begotten of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

²⁰ Now we know that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
