¹⁸ Of Him speaking these things to them, behold, a certain ruler having come, was kneeling down to Him, saying, “My daughter presently has died; but having come, lay Your hand upon her, and she will live.”

² And behold a leper having come, was worshipping Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me.”

⁸ But the centurion answering, said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof; but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. ⁹ For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

²⁴ He says, “Go away, for the girl is not dead, but sleeps.” And they began to laugh at Him.

³³ And those in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are Son of God.”

²⁵ And having come, she was worshiping Him saying, “Lord, help me!”

¹⁴ And they having come to the crowd, a man came to Him kneeling down to Him

²⁰ Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him.

¹⁷ And having seen Him they worshiped; but some doubted.

²² And one of the synagogue rulers comes, named Jairus, and having seen Him, falls at His feet, ²³ and he begs Him much, saying, “My little daughter is holding at the end, that having come, You would lay the hands on her, so that she might be cured, and she shall live.” ²⁴ And He departed with him. And a great crowd was following Him and pressing in on Him. ²⁵ And a woman, being with a flux of blood twelve years, ²⁶ and having suffered much under many physicians and having spent everything of hers, and having benefited in no way, but rather to the worse having come, ²⁷ having heard concerning Jesus, having come up in the crowd behind, she touched His clothing. ²⁸ For she was saying, “If I shall touch even His garments, I will be healed.” ²⁹ And immediately her flow of blood was dried up, and she knew in the body that she was healed from the affliction. ³⁰ And immediately Jesus, having known in Himself the power having gone forth out of Him, having turned in the crowd, said, “Who touched My garments?” ³¹ And His disciples were saying to Him, “You see the crowd pressing in on You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” ³² And He was looking around to see the one having done this. ³³ And the woman, having been frightened and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth. ³⁴ And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace and be sound from your affliction.” ³⁵ While yet He is speaking, they come from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying, “Your daughter is dead; why do you trouble the Teacher still?” ³⁶ But Jesus, having heard the word spoken, says to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear; only believe.” ³⁷ And He did not allow anyone to follow with Him, except Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. ³⁸ And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and He beholds a commotion, and much weeping and wailing. ³⁹ And having entered, He says to them, “Why do you make a commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeps.” ⁴⁰ And they were laughing at Him. And He, having put all outside, takes with Him the father and the mother of the child, and those with Him, and enters in where the child was. ⁴¹ And having taken the hand of the child, He says to her, “Talitha, koum!” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise!” ⁴² And immediately the girl arose and began walking, for she was twelve of years. And immediately they were overcome with great amazement. ⁴³ And He instructed them strictly that no one should know this; and He commanded to be given to her to eat.

² And a certain servant of a centurion, who was valued highly to him, being sick, was about to die.

⁴¹ And behold, a man whose name was Jairus came, and he was a ruler of the synagogue, and having fallen at the feet of Jesus, he began begging Him to come to his house, ⁴² because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. And as He went, the crowds were pressing around Him. ⁴³ And a woman being with a flux of blood for twelve years, who, having spent all her living on physicians, was not able to be healed by anyone. ⁴⁴ Having come behind Him, she touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her flux of blood stopped. ⁴⁵ And Jesus said, “Who is the one having touched Me?” But all were denying it. Peter said, “Master, the people surround You and press in.” ⁴⁶ But Jesus said, “Someone touched Me, for I know power has gone out from Me.” ⁴⁷ And the woman, having seen that she was not hidden, came trembling, and having fallen down before Him before all the people, she declared for what cause she touched Him, and how she was healed immediately. ⁴⁸ And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace.” ⁴⁹ Of Him still speaking, one comes from the synagogue ruler, saying, “Your daughter has died; trouble the Teacher no longer.” ⁵⁰ But Jesus having heard, answered him, “Fear not; only believe, and she will be saved.” ⁵¹ And having entered into the house, He did not allow anyone to go in with Him, except Peter and John and James and the father and the mother of the child. ⁵² And all were weeping and mourning for her. But He said, “Do not weep; for she is not dead, but sleeps.” ⁵³ And they were laughing at Him, knowing that she was dead. ⁵⁴ And He having taken hold her of hand, called out, saying, “Child, arise!” ⁵⁵ And her spirit returned, and she arose immediately; and He directed to be given to her to eat. ⁵⁶ And her parents were amazed; and He instructed them to tell no one what had happened.

¹⁴ And answering, the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, was saying to the crowd, “There are six days in which it behooves one to work. Therefore coming, be healed in these, and not on the day of the Sabbath.”

¹⁵ And one of them, having seen that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, ¹⁶ and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.

¹⁸ And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”

⁴⁷ Having heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and was asking that He would come down and heal his son; for he was about to die. ⁴⁸ Therefore Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will never believe.” ⁴⁹ The royal official says to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

²¹ Then Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. ²² Nevertheless, even now I know that whatever You might ask God, God will give You.”

²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live.

³² Therefore Mary, when she came to where Jesus was, having seen Him, fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

²⁵ And as Peter was entering, Cornelius, having met him, having fallen at the feet, worshiped him. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Rise up, I myself am also a man.”

¹⁵ And after the reading of the Law and of the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Men, brothers, if there is any word of exhortation among you toward the people, speak.”
