⁶ Only they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who led Israel to sin: they walked in them; moreover the grove also remained in Samaria.

¹⁶ They forsook the commandments of the Lord their God, and made themselves graven images, even two heifers, and they made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

³ And he built again the high places, which Hezekiah his father had demolished, and set up an altar to Baal, and made groves as Ahab king of Israel had made; and worshipped the whole host of heaven, and served them.
