1 Peter 3 Cross References - CAB

1 Wives, likewise, subject yourselves to your own husbands, so that even if some are disobedient to the word, that by the conduct of their wives, without a word, they shall be gained for Christ, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct with fear. 3 Of whom let it not be the outward adorning of braiding of hair, and wearing of gold, or of putting on of fine clothes, 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God. 5 For thus formerly, the holy women who hoped on God also adorned themselves, subjecting themselves to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom you became children, when you do good and are not afraid of any terror. 7 Husbands, likewise, live together according to knowledge as with a weaker vessel, with the wife, showing her honor as also a fellow heir of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered. 8 Finally, all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, compassionate, friendly, 9 not rendering evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For "He that desires to love life and see good days, let him stop his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile. 11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears open to their prayer; but the face of the LORD is against those doing evil." 13 And who is he that shall injure you if you become imitators of that which is good? 14 But even if you should suffer on account of righteousness, you are blessed. "But do not fear their threats, nor be troubled." 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience, so that in what they speak against you as evildoers, those reviling your good conduct in Christ may be put to shame. 17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if it is the will of God, than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once to atone for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who formerly disobeyed, when the longsuffering of God was waiting in the days of Noah, when the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water; 21 which as an antitype, baptism now also saves us-(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to Him.

And let not the queen come in to him anymore, and let the king give her royalty to a woman better than she. 20 And let the law of the king which he shall have made, be widely proclaimed in his kingdom. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.

1 Corinthians 7:16

16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

1 Corinthians 9:19-22

19 For being free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, in order that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, in order that I might win Jews; to those who are under law, as under law, in order that I might win those who are under law; 21 to those outside the law, as one outside the law (not being outside the law toward God, but subject to the law toward Christ), in order that I might win those outside the law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, in order that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

1 Corinthians 11:3

3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 12:13

13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and we were all given to drink into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:22-24

22 But to a greater degree the parts of the body which seem weaker are necessary. 23 And the parts of the body which we consider to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater propriety. 24 But our presentable parts have no need. But God united the body, giving greater honor to the part being inferior,

1 Corinthians 12:26

26 And if one part suffers, all the parts suffer together; or if one part is honored, all the parts rejoice together.

1 Corinthians 14:1

1 Pursue love, and desire the spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

1 Corinthians 14:34

34 let your women be silent in the churches, for it has not been permitted for them to speak, but to be in subjection, just as the law also says.

1 Corinthians 15:24

24 Then will be the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He abolishes every ruler and every authority and power.

2 Corinthians 1:12

12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we have conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and especially toward you.

2 Corinthians 1:24

24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.

2 Corinthians 2:15-16

15 For we are the fragrance of Christ to God among those being saved, and among those perishing. 16 To some we are the fragrance of death leading to death, but to others the fragrance of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

2 Corinthians 4:2

2 but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the word of God, but by the disclosure of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God.

2 Corinthians 4:16

16 Therefore we do not despair, but even if our outward man is being destroyed, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 5:21

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 7:1

1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face am lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.

2 Corinthians 12:10

10 Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in calamities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For whenever I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 13:4

4 For although He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we are weak in Him, yet we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.

Galatians 1:4

4 who gave Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Galatians 3:13

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"

Galatians 3:27

27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Galatians 4:22-26

22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by the servant girl, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the servant girl was born according to the flesh, and he of the free woman through the promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are two covenants: one in fact from Mount Sinai, bearing children into slavery, which is Hagar-- 25 for Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, and is in slavery with her children-- 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control--against such things there is no law.

Galatians 6:10

10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us work what is good toward all, but especially toward those who are of the household of faith.

Ephesians 1:20-21

20 which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, 21 above every ruler and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the coming age.

Ephesians 2:16-18

16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, putting to death the enmity in Himself. 17 And having come, He preached peace to you who were far away and to those near. 18 Because through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Ephesians 3:6

6 that the Gentiles should be joint-heirs, and of the same body, and joint-partakers in His promise in Christ by the gospel,

Ephesians 4:2

2 with all humility and meekness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

Ephesians 4:22-24

22 that you put off, concerning your former way of life, the old man which is being corrupted according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created in the likeness of God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 4:30

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and blasphemy be removed from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ forgave us.

Ephesians 5:1

1 Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children.

Ephesians 5:22-24

22 Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord, 23 because the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 But just as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your own wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 in order that He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of water by the word,

Ephesians 5:26

26 in order that He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he that loves his own wife loves himself.

Ephesians 5:33

33 Nevertheless you also individually, let each one love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respect her husband.

Ephesians 6:5

5 Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in simplicity of heart, as to Christ;

Ephesians 6:18

18 through every prayer and petition, praying in every season in the Spirit, being watchful to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints--

Philippians 1:27

27 Only conduct yourselves worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Philippians 1:29

29 For to you it has been granted for the sake of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Philippians 3:16

16 Nevertheless, to what we have attained, let us walk by the same rule, being of the same mind.

Philippians 3:20

20 For our citizenship exists in heaven, from which also we eagerly await for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Philippians 4:8-9

8 Finally, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are just, as many as are pure, as many as are lovely--if there is any virtue and if there is any praise--meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, practice these things; and the God of peace shall be with you.

Colossians 1:5

5 because of the hope being laid up for you in the heavens, in which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

Colossians 1:21-22

21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach before Him-- 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, having been founded and firm and not drifting away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was proclaimed to all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Colossians 1:27

27 To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

Colossians 2:12

12 having been buried together with Him in baptism, in which also you were raised together through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Colossians 3:1

1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:3

3 For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:9-10

9 Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old man with his practices, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in full knowledge according to the image of Him who created it,

Colossians 3:12

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience;

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Colossians 3:18

18 Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

Colossians 3:22

22 Bondservants, obey your masters according to the flesh in all things, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

Colossians 4:5

5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, redeeming the time. 6 Let your word always be with grace, having been seasoned with salt, to know how you ought to answer each one.

1 Thessalonians 4:4

4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

1 Thessalonians 4:11

11 and that you aspire to be quiet, and to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, just as we commanded you,

1 Thessalonians 5:15

15 See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue that which is good, both for one another and for all.

2 Thessalonians 1:8

8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:12

12 And to such people we command and urge by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

1 Timothy 1:5

5 Now the goal of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

1 Timothy 1:19

19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,

1 Timothy 2:2

2 on behalf of kings and all those who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

1 Timothy 2:9-10

9 Likewise also that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and discretion, not with braids or gold or pearls or expensive clothing, 10 but which is fitting for women professing godliness, by means of good works.

1 Timothy 2:10

10 but which is fitting for women professing godliness, by means of good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.

1 Timothy 2:15

15 Nevertheless she shall be saved through childbirth, if they remain in faith and love, and sanctification, with self-control.

1 Timothy 4:12

12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather become a pattern for the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 5:5

5 Now she who is really a widow and having been left alone, has set her hope on God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.

1 Timothy 5:10

10 having a reputation for good works, if she has brought up children, if she has lodged strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has diligently followed every good work.

1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called and have confessed the good confession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:18

18 to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, sharing,

2 Timothy 1:3

3 I give thanks to God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, how unceasingly I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day,

2 Timothy 2:25

25 in meekness instructing those that oppose, if God perhaps may give them repentance, to a full knowledge of the truth,

2 Timothy 2:25-26

25 in meekness instructing those that oppose, if God perhaps may give them repentance, to a full knowledge of the truth, 26 and they regain their senses and escape out of the snare of the devil, having been captured alive by him to do his will.

Titus 1:2

2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time itself,

Titus 2:3-6

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teaching what is good,

Titus 2:3-15

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teaching what is good,

Titus 2:3-4

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may urge the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,

Titus 2:4-15

4 so that they may urge the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,

Titus 2:4-4

4 so that they may urge the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children, 5 temperate, pure, homemakers, good, submitting to their own husbands, lest the word of God be blasphemed.

Titus 2:5-15

5 temperate, pure, homemakers, good, submitting to their own husbands, lest the word of God be blasphemed. 6 Likewise exhort the young men to be sensible,

Titus 2:6-15

6 Likewise exhort the young men to be sensible, 7 in all respects showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, dignity, incorruptibility, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, in order that the one who is an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

Titus 2:8

8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, in order that the one who is an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us. 9 Exhort bondservants to be subject to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not talking back, 10 not embezzling, but showing good faith, so that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. 11 For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people as His own possession, zealous for good works.

Titus 2:14

14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people as His own possession, zealous for good works. 15 Speak these things, exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Titus 3:2

2 to slander no one, to be peaceable, gentle, demonstrating all meekness to all men.

Titus 3:5-7

5 not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:7-7

7 that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Hebrews 1:3

3 who being the effulgence of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Hebrews 1:13

13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet"? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits being sent out to minister for the sake of those who are about to inherit salvation?

Hebrews 3:6

6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the boast of hope firm until the end.

Hebrews 5:9

9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

Hebrews 6:1

1 Therefore, leaving the subject of the beginning of Christ, let us be moved to perfection, not again laying down a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Hebrews 6:14

14 saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you."

Hebrews 6:18-19

18 in order that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled to take hold of the hope being set before us; 19 which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and secure, and which enters into the inner side of the veil, 20 where the Forerunner has entered in behalf of us, even Jesus, having become a High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 8:1

1 Now this is the main point of the things being said: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

Hebrews 9:14

14 by how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, will cleanse your conscience from dead works in order that we might serve the living God?

Hebrews 9:24

24 For Christ did not enter into the holies made by hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf;

Hebrews 9:26

26 since it would have been necessary for Him to suffer often from the foundation of the world; but now, once at the consummation of the ages, He has been revealed for the removal of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.

Hebrews 9:28

28 so also Christ having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation, to those eagerly waiting for Him.

Hebrews 10:12

12 But He Himself, having offered one sacrifice for sins forever, He sat down at the right hand of God,

Hebrews 11:7

7 By faith Noah, having being warned By God concerning the things not yet seen, being reverent, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, through which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go forth to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Hebrews 11:11

11 By faith Sarah herself also received power for conception of seed, and she bore a child past the normal age, because she regarded Him faithful who had promised.

Hebrews 11:19

19 considering that even from the dead, God was able to raise him up, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Hebrews 12:2

2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:14

14 Pursue peace and holiness with all people, without which no one shall see the Lord:

Hebrews 13:1

1 Let brotherly love remain.

Hebrews 13:16

16 But do not forget the doing of good and generosity, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:18

18 Pray for us; for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live commendably.

James 1:12

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he is approved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him.

James 1:21

21 Therefore laying aside all filthiness and abundance of evil, in meekness receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:26

26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceiving his heart, the religion of this man is useless.

James 2:13

13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who does not show mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

James 3:1-10

1 My brothers, let not many become teachers, knowing that we shall receive greater judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a mature man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Consider that we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body. 4 Consider also the ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a small member and it boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. Thus the tongue is set among our members, as that which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of both beasts and birds, of both reptiles and sea creatures, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unrestrainable evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are created according to the likeness of God. 10 Out of the same mouth come blessings and curses. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

James 3:13-17

13 Is there anyone wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his works are in meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and strife exist, there unrest and every evil deed are. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17

17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17-18

17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those making peace.

James 4:17

17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

James 5:6

6 You have condemned; you have murdered the just. He does not resist you.

James 5:11

11 Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord--that He is compassionate and He is merciful.

James 5:16

16 Confess your transgressions to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of the righteous is very powerful.

James 5:19-20

19 Brothers, if anyone among you wanders away from the truth, and anyone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 1:3-4

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 into an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,

1 Peter 1:11-12

11 searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ in them was revealing when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories which were to follow: 12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they were ministering these things, which things were now announced to you by those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.

1 Peter 1:15

15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all manner of life,

1 Peter 1:17

17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear;

1 Peter 1:22

22 Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

1 Peter 2:1

1 Therefore having put away all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all slanders,

1 Peter 2:12

12 having your manner of life noble among the Gentiles, so that, whenever they speak against you as evildoers, when they observe the good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.

1 Peter 2:15

15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may silence the ignorance of foolish men--

1 Peter 2:17

17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

1 Peter 2:19-20

19 For this is admirable, if because of conscience toward God someone endures pain, suffering unjustly.

1 Peter 2:19

19 For this is admirable, if because of conscience toward God someone endures pain, suffering unjustly. 20 For what glory is it, if when you sin and are beaten, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it, you endure, this is admirable before God.

1 Peter 2:20-20

20 For what glory is it, if when you sin and are beaten, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it, you endure, this is admirable before God.

1 Peter 2:20

20 For what glory is it, if when you sin and are beaten, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it, you endure, this is admirable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving behind an example for you, that you should follow in His footsteps,

1 Peter 2:21-24

21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving behind an example for you, that you should follow in His footsteps, 22 "Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth";

1 Peter 2:22

22 "Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth";

1 Peter 2:22-24

22 "Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth"; 23 who, being verbally abused, did not return verbal insults, when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

1 Peter 2:23-24

23 who, being verbally abused, did not return verbal insults, when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, in order that having died to sins, we might live unto righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 3:1-2

1 Wives, likewise, subject yourselves to your own husbands, so that even if some are disobedient to the word, that by the conduct of their wives, without a word, they shall be gained for Christ, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct with fear.

1 Peter 3:2

2 when they observe your chaste conduct with fear.

1 Peter 3:2-2

2 when they observe your chaste conduct with fear. 3 Of whom let it not be the outward adorning of braiding of hair, and wearing of gold, or of putting on of fine clothes, 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God.

1 Peter 3:4

4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible attitude of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious before God. 5 For thus formerly, the holy women who hoped on God also adorned themselves, subjecting themselves to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom you became children, when you do good and are not afraid of any terror.

1 Peter 3:6

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom you became children, when you do good and are not afraid of any terror. 7 Husbands, likewise, live together according to knowledge as with a weaker vessel, with the wife, showing her honor as also a fellow heir of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.

1 Peter 3:14-15

14 But even if you should suffer on account of righteousness, you are blessed. "But do not fear their threats, nor be troubled."

1 Peter 3:14

14 But even if you should suffer on account of righteousness, you are blessed. "But do not fear their threats, nor be troubled." 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

1 Peter 3:15

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

1 Peter 3:15-15

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience, so that in what they speak against you as evildoers, those reviling your good conduct in Christ may be put to shame.

1 Peter 3:21

21 which as an antitype, baptism now also saves us-(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 4:1

1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind, because he who suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

1 Peter 4:6

6 Unto this end was the gospel proclaimed also to those who are dead, in order that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but that they might live according to God in the spirit.

1 Peter 4:13-16

13 but inasmuch as you partake in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, in order that also at the unveiling of His glory, you may rejoice with great happiness. 14 If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified. 15 For let not anyone of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people's affairs;

1 Peter 4:15

15 For let not anyone of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people's affairs; 16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be put to shame, but let him glorify God in this matter. 17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?

1 Peter 4:19

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

1 Peter 5:5

5 Likewise, younger people, subject yourselves to the elders. And all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility, because "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

1 Peter 5:10

10 But may the God of all grace, the One having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, and firmly ground you.

2 Peter 1:7

7 and with godliness brotherly love, and with brotherly love, love.

2 Peter 2:5

5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, the eighth, a preacher of righteousness, when He brought a flood upon the ungodly world;

2 Peter 3:11

11 Therefore, seeing that all these things shall be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

2 Peter 3:15

15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation--just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 3:14

14 We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

1 John 3:18-19

18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And in this we know that we are from the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.

3 John 1:11

11 Beloved, do not imitate the evil, but the good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen God.

Revelation 14:5

5 And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are blameless.

Revelation 19:10

10 And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Revelation 20:7

7 Now after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison,
