¹⁹ if the man arises and walks about with his staff, he that struck him shall be clear; only he shall pay for his loss of time, and for his healing.

²⁹ Let it fall upon the head of Joab, and upon all the house of his father; and let there not be wanting of the house of Joab one that has an issue, or a leper, or that leans on a staff, or that falls by the sword, or that wants bread.

⁴ Thus says the Lord Almighty; There shall yet dwell old men and old women in the streets of Jerusalem, everyone holding his staff in his hand for age.
