²¹ And he drank of the wine, and was drunk, and was naked in his house.

^{9 (6:10)} And these are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man; being perfect in his generation; Noah was well pleasing to God.

³² Come, let us make our father drink wine, and let us sleep with him, and let us raise up seed from our father. ³³ So they made their father drink wine in that night, and the elder went in and lay with her father that night, and he knew not when he slept and when he rose up. ³⁴ And it came to pass on the next day, that the elder said to the younger, Behold, I slept last night with our father, let us make him drink wine in this night also, and you go in and sleep with him, and let us raise up seed of our father. ³⁵ So they made their father drink wine in that night also, and the younger went in and slept with her father, and he knew not when he slept, nor when he arose. ³⁶ And the two daughters of Lot conceived by their father.

¹ Wine is a mocker, and strong drink full of violence; but every fool is entangled with them.

³¹ For if you should set your eyes on bowls and cups, you shall afterwards go more naked than a pestle. ³² But at last such a one stretches himself out as one smitten by a serpent, and venom is diffused through him as by a horned serpent.

²⁰ For there is not a righteous man in the earth who will do good, and not sin.

¹⁵ Woe to him that gives his neighbor to drink the thick lees of wine, and intoxicates him, that he may look upon their secret parts. ¹⁶ Drink also your fill of disgrace instead of glory: shake, O heart, and quake, the cup of the right hand of the Lord has come round upon you, and dishonor has gathered upon your glory.

³ Then Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. ⁴ And he went off and spoke with the chief priests and captains about how he might betray Him to them.

¹³ Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelries and drinking bouts, not in orgies and debaucheries, not in strife and jealousy.

¹² So then, let him who thinks he stands take heed, lest he should fall!

²¹ envies, murders, drinking bouts, revelries, and the like; which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

² Older men are to be sober, serious, temperate, sound in the faith, in love, in endurance.

¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been tried by fire, so that you may become rich; and white robes, so that you may be clothed, and the shame of your nakedness may not appear; and eye salve, so that you may anoint your eyes, in order that you may see.
