⁴ Let us choose judgment to ourselves: let us know among ourselves what is right.

³⁰ And it was so, that everyone who saw it said, Such a day as this has not happened nor has been seen from the day of the going up of the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt until this day: take counsel concerning it, and speak.

⁷ Behold, all you are children of Israel; and consider and take counsel here among yourselves.

³⁶ Howbeit do you learn, Job: no longer giving answers as the foolish:

² and the Spirit of God shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness shall fill Him; ³ the spirit of the fear of God. He shall not judge according to appearance, nor reprove according to report; ⁴ but He shall judge the cause of the lowly, and shall reprove the lowly of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the word of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He destroy the ungodly one. ⁵ And He shall have His loins girded with righteousness, and His sides clothed with truth.

²⁴ Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

² And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

² Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? ³ Do you not know that we will judge angels? Let alone ordinary matters! ⁴ If then you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint those who are disdained within the church to judge? ⁵ I say this to your shame. So is there not among you a wise man, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brother and another?

¹¹ But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was to be blamed. ¹² For before certain men came from James, he would eat together with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and began to separate himself, fearing those of the circumcision party. ¹³ And the rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy. ¹⁴ But when I saw that they did not act rightly with respect to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live in Gentile fashion and not in Jewish fashion, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as Jews?

²¹ But test all things; hold fast that which is good.
