¹³ And no one has gone up into heaven except He who came down out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

¹² It is not in heaven above, as if there were one saying, Who shall go up for us into heaven, and shall take it for us, and we will hear and do it?

⁴ Who has gone up to heaven, and come down? Who has gathered the winds in His bosom? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has dominion of all the ends of the earth? What is His name? Or what is the name of His children?

²⁰ teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

¹⁹ So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. ²⁰ And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, He who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

³¹ He who comes from above is above all; he who is from the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

³³ For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

³⁸ For I have come down from heaven, not that I might do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

⁴² And they were saying, "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does this Man say, 'I have come down from heaven'?"

⁴⁶ Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

⁵¹ I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

⁶² What then if you should see the Son of Man ascending where He was before?

⁴² Therefore Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would have loved Me, for I came forth and have come from God; nor have I come from Myself, but He sent Me.

³ Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

²⁸ I came forth from the Father and I have come into the world. Again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father." ²⁹ His disciples said to Him, "See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! ³⁰ Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God."

⁵ And now, O Father, glorify Me alongside Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

³⁴ "For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand,

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of the Lord, and of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

⁶ But the righteousness of faith says thus, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who shall ascend into heaven?' " (that is, to bring Christ down)

⁴⁷ The first man was from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

²³ which is His body, the fullness of Him filling all things in all.

⁹ But that "He ascended"--what it is but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended, He is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.
