⁴⁵ "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master appointed over his household, to give them food in due season?

² Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: O shepherds of Israel, do shepherds feed themselves? Do not the shepherds feed the sheep?

²⁴ "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock:

¹⁶ "Behold, I am sending you forth like sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

⁵² Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe having become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure new and old things."

² Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

²¹ "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

⁴¹ Then Peter said to Him, "Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?" ⁴² And the Lord said, "Who then is a faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? ⁴³ Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in what is least is also unjust in much. ¹¹ Therefore if you were not faithful with the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust to you what is genuine? ¹² And if you were not faithful in what belongs to another, who will give to you what is yours?

¹⁷ And he said to him, 'Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.'

¹⁵ So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." ¹⁶ He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Shepherd My sheep." ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of the Lord, and of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

¹ And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. ² I gave you milk to drink, and not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, neither are you now yet able;

¹ Let a man so consider us, as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² Now furthermore what is required among the stewards, is that one be found faithful.

¹¹ And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, ¹² for the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all arrive to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

¹² And I give thanks to the One who empowers me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He considered me faithful, putting me into the ministry,

² And the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be competent to teach others also.

⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of the things which would be spoken,

¹⁰ As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If anyone speaks, let him speak as the utterances of God. If anyone serves, let him serve as from strength, as God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

¹ The elders who are among you I exhort, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed; ² shepherd the flock of God among you, overseeing not by compulsion, but rather willingly, not in fondness for dishonest gain, but rather eagerly; ³ nor as being masters over the flock under you, but rather being examples to the flock.

¹³ "I know your works, and where you live, where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan is dwelling.
