1 Samuel 20:6 Cross References - CLV

⁶ if your father at all look after me, and you have said, David asked earnestly of me to run to Beth-Lehem his city, for a sacrifice of the days [is] there for all the family.

⁵ But rather for the place that Yahweh your Elohim shall choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there, you shall inquire for His tabernacle, and there will you come.

¹² And they answer them and say, `He is; lo, before you! haste, now, for to-day he has come in to the city, for the people has a stated sacrifice in a high place.

² And Samuel said, `How do I go? when Saul has heard, then he has slain me.' And Yahweh said, `A heifer of the herd you do take in your hand, and have said, To sacrifice to Yahweh I have come;" ³ and you have called for Jesse in the sacrifice, and I cause you to know that which you do do, and you have anointed to Me him of whom I speak unto you.. ⁴ And Samuel does that which Yahweh has spoken, and comes in to Beth-Lehem, and the elders of the city tremble to meet him, and [one] said, `Is your coming peace?. <sup>5</sup> and he said, `Peace; to sacrifice to Yahweh I have come, sanctify yourselves, and you have come in with me to the sacrifice;' and he sanctifies Jesse and his sons, and calls them to the sacrifice.

⁵⁸ and Saul said unto him, `Whose son [are] you, O youth?' and David said, `Son of your servant Jesse, the Beth-Lehemite..

⁴² Did not the scripture say that out of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was, comes the Christ?
