¹⁰ and Elisha sends unto him a messenger, saying, `Go, and you have washed seven times in Jordan, and your flesh does turn back to you--and be you clean.

⁹ And Hazael goes to meet him, and takes a present in his hand, even of every good thing of Damascus, a burden of forty camels, and he comes in and stands before him, and said, `Your son Ben-Hadad, king of Aram, has sent me unto you, saying, Do I revive from this sickness?.

⁸ But surely it is the spirit in a mortal, And the breath of Him Who Suffices that gives them understanding. ⁹ Seniors may not be wise Or elders understand judgment.

² Rinse me abundantly from my depravity, And from my sin cleanse me."

⁷ Expiate me with the hyssop, and I shall be clean; Rinse me, and I shall be whiter than snow."

¹⁶ Wash yourselves! Purge yourselves! Take away the evil of your actions from in front of My eyes!

⁷ And Ebed-Melech the Cushite, a eunuch who [is] in the king's house, hears that they have put Jeremiah into the pit; and the king is sitting at the gate of Benjamin, ⁸ and Ebed-Melech goes forth from the king's house, and speaks unto the king, saying, ⁹ `My lord, O king, these men have done evil [in] all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the pit, and he dies in his place because of the famine, for there is no more bread in the city.'" <sup>10</sup> And the king commands Ebed-Melech the Cushite, saying, `Take with you from this thirty men, and you have brought up Jeremiah the prophet from the pit, before he dies.'"

⁶ A son will glorify a father, and a servant his lord. Yet if a Father am I, where is My glory? And if a Lord am I, where is My fear? says Yahweh of hosts to you, the priests who are despising My name. Yet you say, In what way do we despise Your name?

⁹ And 'father' you should not be calling one of you on the earth, for One is your Father, the heavenly."

⁸ Peter is saying to Him, "Under no circumstances shouldst Thou be washing my feet for the eon!Jesus answered him, "If ever I should not be washing you, you are having no part with Me."

¹⁶ And now, why do you defer? Rise, be baptized, and bathe off your sins, invoking His name.'"

²¹ For since, in fact, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom knew not God, God delights, through the stupidity of the heralding, to save those who are believing,

²⁷ but the stupidity of the world God chooses, that He may be disgracing the wise, and the weakness of the world God chooses, that He may be disgracing the strong,

¹⁵ For if you should be having ten thousand escorts in Christ, nevertheless not many fathers, for in Christ Jesus, through the evangel, I beget you."

²⁶ that He should be hallowing it, cleansing it in the bath of the water (with His declaration), ²⁷ that He should be presenting to Himself a glorious ecclesia, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that it may be holy and flawless."

⁵ not for works which are wrought in righteousness which we do, but according to His mercy, He saves us, through the bath of renascence and renewal of holy spirit,

²² we may be approaching with a true heart, in the assurance of faith, with hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience, and a body bathed in clean water."

²¹ the representation of which, baptism, is now saving you also (not the putting off of the filth of the flesh, but the inquiry of a good conscience to God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ And I have declared to him: "My lord, you are aware.And he said to me, "These are those coming out of the great affliction. And they rinse their robes, and they whiten them in the blood of the Lambkin."
