¹⁹ When you reap your harvest in your field and you have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not return to take it in. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be, so that Yahweh your Elohim may bless you in every work of your hands.

⁹ When you reap the harvest of your land you shall not finish the edges of your field in reaping, and the gleaning of your harvest you shall not glean. ¹⁰ Also your vineyard you shall not clean glean, and the loose berries of your vineyard you shall not glean; you shall forsake them for the humble and for the sojourner:I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

²⁹ that the Levite may come (for he has no portion or allotment with you), and the sojourner, the orphan and the widow who are within your gates, and they may eat and be satisfied, so that Yahweh your Elohim may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

¹⁰ You shall give, yea give to him, and your heart shall not feel bad at your giving to him. For owing to this matter Yahweh your Elohim shall bless you in all your work and in every undertaking of your hand.

²⁰ When you beat your olive tree, you shalt not go over the foliage after yourself. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be. ²¹ When you pick the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not clean glean it after yourself. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be.

¹³ then you will say before Yahweh your Elohim:I have taken out the holy gift from the house and have indeed given it to the Levite, to the sojourner, to the orphan and to the widow according to all Your instruction that You have enjoined on me. I have not turned aside from Your instructions, and I have not forgotten.

¹⁶ Moreover, you shall pull out, yea pull out for her some stalks from the swaths and leave them for her to glean, and do not rebuke her.

¹⁶ If I have withheld the desire of the poor And have caused the eyes of the widow to fail, ¹⁷ And I have eaten my morsel by myself alone, So that the orphan could not eat of i. ¹⁸ (Indeed from my youth he grew great as with a father, And from the belly of my mother I have guided her), ¹⁹ If I have seen anyone perishing from lack of clothing, And there was no covering for the needy, ²⁰ If his loins did not bless me, Since he was warmed with the fleece of my lambs, ²¹ If I have waved my hand against the orphan Because I saw my backing was in the gate, ²² Then may my shoulder fall from the shoulder blade, And may my arm be broken from the clavicle.

¹² Thus Yahweh Himself blessed the latter years of Job more than his beginning. He came to have a flock of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand pair of oxen and a thousand jennies.

⁹ He disperses; he gives to the needy; His righteousness is standing into the future; His horn shall be exalted in glory.

²⁴ There is one who disperses yet is enhanced more, And another who keeps back more than what is upright yet ends only with a lack." ²⁵ The soul who gives a blessing is conferred with richness, And he who waters, he himself shall be watered also."

²¹ He who despises his associate is sinning, Yet happy is he who is gracious to the humble."

¹⁷ He who is gracious to a poor man obligates Yahweh, And He shall pay his requital to him."

⁸ Yet the patron counsels willingness, and he, in the willingness, is confirmed."

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the famishing, and the humble, brought down, shall you bring home? In case you are seeing the naked, then you cover him with a cloak? And from your own flesh you are not obscuring yourself? ⁸ Then your light shall be rent as the dawn, and your longevity with haste shall sprout. And there goes before you your righteousness. And the glory of Yahweh shall gather about you." ⁹ Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer, you will implore, and He will say, "Behold Me!You should take away from your midst the slider bar, and the pointing of the finger and speaking lawlessness, ¹⁰ and promote for the famishing the bread for your soul, and the humbled soul shall you satisfy. Then radiant will be your light in the darkness, and your gloom as the noon." ¹¹ And you are guided by Yahweh continually, and He satisfies, on a garish day, your soul. And your bones will He liberate. And you become as a soaked garden, and as a vent of water whose waters are not defaulting."

³⁵ Moreover, be loving your enemies, and be doing good, and be lending, expecting nothing from them, and your wages will be vast in the heavens, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

³⁸ be giving, and it shall be given to you: a measure ideal, squeezed down and shaken together and running over, shall they be giving into your bosom. For the same measure with which you are measuring will be measured to you again."

¹³ But, whenever you may be making a reception, invite the poor, the cripples, the lame, the blind, ¹⁴ and happy will you be, for they have nothing to repay you, for it will be repaid you in the resurrection of the just."

⁶ yet as this: who is sowing sparingly, sparingly shall be reaping also, and who is sowing bountifully, bountifully shall be reaping also, ⁷ each according as he has proposed in his heart, not sorrowfully, nor of compulsion, for the gleeful giver is loved by God." ⁸ Now God is able to lavish all grace on you, that, having all contentment in everything always, you may be superabounding in every good work,

¹⁷ Now whoever may be having a livelihood in this world, and may be beholding his brother having need, and should be locking his compassions from him - how is the love of God remaining in him? ¹⁸ Little children, we should not be loving in word, neither in tongue, but in act and truth." ¹⁹ And in this shall we be knowing that we are of the truth and shall be persuading our hearts in front of Him,
