¹ LOAD OF EGYPT "Behold Yahweh riding on a thick cloud! It is fleet, and He comes to Egypt. And the forbidden idols of Egypt are swayed by His presence, and the heart of Egypt is melting within it." ² And I tangle Egypt with Egypt, and they will fight, each man against his brother, and each man against his associate. And city shall rouse against city, kingdom against kingdom." ³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards." ⁴ And I hold the Egyptians in check by the hand of obstinate lords, and a strong king shall rule among them,averring is the Lord, Yahweh of hosts." ⁵ And absorbed are the waters from the upper sea, and the stream shall be drained and be dry." ⁶ And the streams evaporate, and are impoverished, and the waterways of lower Egypt drain. The reeds and the weeds are withered." ⁷ Naked places are on the waterway, at the mouth of the waterway, and all that sown by the waterway is drying, and it is whisked away, and is not." ⁸ And the fishers complain, and mourn do all flingers of fishhooks into the waterway, and the spreaders of a dragnet on the surface of the waters are enfeebled." ⁹ And ashamed are the cultivators of yellow flax, and the weavers of pale cotton." ¹⁰ And its settlers become crushed. All workers for hire are marshy of soul. ¹¹ Yea! Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan, the wise counselors of Pharaoh give brutish counsel. How will you say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of former kings"? ¹² Whereat, indeed, are your wise? And, pray, will they tell to you, and will they know what Yahweh of hosts counsels over Egypt? ¹³ Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan! Lured away are the chiefs of Noph! They lead Egypt astray, the corner stone of its tribes." ¹⁴ Yahweh blends within it a depraved spirit. They lead Egypt astray in its every deed, as a drunkard strays in his vomit." ¹⁵ And not coming to Egypt is work, which head or tail, frond or rush shall do." ¹⁶ In that day Egypt shall become as wives, and tremble, and be afraid in view of the wave of the hand of Yahweh of hosts, which He will wave over it." ¹⁷ And it comes that the ground of Judah is to Egypt for giddiness. Everyone to whom they shall mention it will be afraid, in view of the counsel of Yahweh of hosts, which He shall counsel against them." ¹⁸ In that day, five cities in the land of Egypt shall come to speak the lip of Canaan, and swear to Yahweh of hosts. "A devoted city,will be said of one." ¹⁹ In that day there shall be an altar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a monument beside its boundary to Yahweh." ²⁰ And it comes to be for a sign for the eon, and for a testimony to Yahweh of hosts in the land of Egypt. In case they will cry to Yahweh in view of their oppressors, then He will send them a saviour, and He will descend, and rescue them." ²¹ Then Yahweh shall be known to Egypt, and Egypt shall know Yahweh in that day, and they serve with sacrifice and approach present, and vow a vow to Yahweh and pay it." ²² And Yahweh struck Egypt with a great stroke, yet, heal, yea He will heal them. And they return unto Yahweh. And He is entreated for them and heals them." ²³ In that day a highway will come from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria comes into Egypt, and Egypt goes into Assyria. And Egypt serves with Assyria." ²⁴ In that day Israel shall become third to Egypt and to Assyria. They shall be a blessing within the earth, ²⁵ who are blessed by Yahweh of hosts, who says, "Blessed be My people, Egypt, and the making of My hands, Assyria, and My allotment, Israel."

¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt in this night and smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from human even unto beast, and on all the elohim of Egypt I shall execute judgments; I am Yahweh.

¹⁴ The peoples have heard; they are disturbed. Travail, it has taken hold of the dwellers of Philistia. ¹⁵ Then the sheiks of Edom are flustered; the arbiters of Moab, quivering took hold of them. All the dwellers of Canaan are dissolved. ¹⁶ Dread and awe are falling on them; by the greatness of Your arm they are still as a stone, until Your people are passing by, Yahweh, until this people whom You have acquired are passing by.

²⁶ There is none like the El of Yeshurun:Riding the heavens as your Helper and in His augustness, the skies,

⁹ and she said unto the men, `I have known that Yahweh has given to you the land, and that your terror has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have melted at your presence.

¹¹ And we hear, and melt does our heart, and there has not stood any more spirit in [any] man, from your presence, for Yahweh your Elohim, He [is] Elohim in the heavens above, and on the earth beneath.

²⁴ and they say unto Joshua, `Surely Yahweh has given into our hand all the land; and also, all the inhabitants of the land have melted at our presence..

² and the Philistines take the ark of Elohim and bring it into the house of Dagon, and set it near Dagon. ³ And the Ashdodites rise early on the morrow, and lo, Dagon is fallen on its face to the earth, before the ark of Yahweh; and they take Dagon, and put it back to its place. ⁴ And they rise early in the morning on the morrow, and lo, Dagon is fallen on its face to the earth, before the ark of Yahweh, and the head of Dagon, and the two palms of its hands are cut off at the threshold, only the fishy part has been left to him;"

¹⁰ He rode on a cherub and flew; So He swooped down on the wings of the wind. ¹¹ He set darkness as His concealment round about Him; His booth was the darkness of waters, the thick clouds of the skies." ¹² Out of the brightness in front of Him His thick clouds passed With hail and flashing embers of fire.

⁴ Sing to Elohim! Make melody to His Name! Make a highway in the plains for the Rider; In Yah, His Name, be joyous before Him,

³³ To the Rider in the heavens of heavens aforetime! Behold, He shall send out His voice, a strong voice." ³⁴ Ascribe strength to Elohim; Over Israel is His augustness, And His strength is in the skies."

³ The One Who is laying the rafters of His upper chambers on their waters, Who is making the thick clouds His chariot, Who is going on the wings of the wind,

³⁴ May my meditation be congenial to Him; I shall rejoice in Yahweh.

¹ LOAD OF BABYLON which was perceived by Isaiah, the son of Amoz:"

⁷ Therefore all hands shall be slack, and every mortal's heart shall melt"

¹⁶ In that day Egypt shall become as wives, and tremble, and be afraid in view of the wave of the hand of Yahweh of hosts, which He will wave over it."

⁹ And behold this! Coming is a chariot with men, a pair of horsemen! And he is responding and saying, `Fallen! Fallen is Babylon! And all the carvings and her forbidden idols are broken to the earth.'"

¹ Bows Bel! Stoops Nebo! Their grief fetishes have come to be for the animal, and for the beast are your carriers laden. Their announcings are a load for the faint." ² They stoop. They bow together, and cannot escape the load, and their soul goes into captivity."

¹⁹ Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, And his heads, and all his people,

⁸ And there is a word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, ⁹ `Take in your hand great stones, and you have hidden them, in the clay, in the brick-kiln, that [is] at the opening of the house of Pharaoh in Tahpanhes, before the eyes of the men of Judah, <sup>10</sup> and you have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel:`Lo, I am sending, and I have taken Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have set his throne above these stones that I have hid, and he has stretched out his pavilion over them, ¹¹ and he has come, and smitten the land of Egypt--those who [are] for death to death, and those who [are] for captivity to captivity, and those who [are] for the sword to the sword." ¹² And I have kindled a fire in the houses of the elohims of Egypt, and it has burned them, and he has taken them captive, and covered himself with the land of Egypt, as cover himself does the shepherd with his garment, and he has gone forth thence in peace;" ¹³ and he has broken the standing pillars of the house of the sun, that [is] in the land of Egypt, and the houses of the elohims of Egypt he does burn with fire.'"

²⁹ `And this [is] to you the sign--an affirmation of Yahweh--that I am seeing after you in this place, so that you know that My words are certainly established against you for evil;" ³⁰ Thus said Yahweh, Lo, I am giving Pharaoh-Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of those seeking his life, as I have given Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and who is seeking his life.'"

¹ That which has been the word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah the prophet concerning the nations, ² For Egypt, concerning the force of Pharaoh-Necho king of Egypt, that has been by the river Phrat, in Carchemish, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has smitten, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:" ³ `Set you in array shield and buckler, And draw nigh to battle." <sup>4</sup> Gird the horses, and go up, you horsemen, And station yourselves with helmets, Polish the javelins, put on the coats of mail." <sup>5</sup> Wherefore have I seen them dismayed--They are turned backward, And their mighty ones are beaten down, And [to] a refuge they have fled, and not turned the face? Fear [is] round about--an affirmation of Yahweh." <sup>6</sup> The swift do not flee, nor do the mighty escape, Northward, by the side of the river Phrat, They have stumbled and fallen." <sup>7</sup> Who is this? as a flood he comes up, As rivers do his waters shake themselves!" <sup>8</sup> Egypt, as a flood comes up, And as rivers the waters shake themselves. And he said, I go up; I cover the land, I destroy the city and the inhabitants in it." <sup>9</sup> Go up, you horses; and boast yourselves, you chariots, And go forth, you mighty, Cush and Phut handling the shield, And Lud handling--treading the bow." <sup>10</sup> And that day [is] to the Lord Yahweh of Hosts A day of vengeance, To be avenged of His adversaries, And the sword has devoured, and been satisfied, And it has been watered from their blood, For a sacrifice [is] to the Lord Yahweh of Hosts, In the land of the north, by the river Phrat." <sup>11</sup> Go up to Gilead, and take balm, O virgin daughter of Egypt, In vain you have multiplied medicines, Healing there is none for you." <sup>12</sup> Nations have heard of your shame, And your cry has filled the land, For the mighty on the mighty did stumble, Together they have fallen--both of them!'" <sup>13</sup> The word that Yahweh has spoken unto Jeremiah the prophet concerning the coming in of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, to smite the land of Egypt:" <sup>14</sup> `Declare you in Egypt, and sound in Migdol, Yea, sound in Noph, and in Tahpanhes say:Station yourself, yea, prepare for you, For a sword has devoured around you, ¹⁵ Wherefore has your bull been swept away? He has not stood, because Yahweh thrust him away." ¹⁶ He has multiplied the stumbling, Yea one has fallen upon his neighbor, And they say:Rise, and we turn back to our people, And unto the land of our birth, Because of the oppressing sword." ¹⁷ They have cried there:Pharaoh king of Egypt [is] a desolation, Passed by has the appointed time." ¹⁸ I live--an affirmation of the King, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name, Surely as Tabor [is] among mountains, And as Carmel by the sea--he comes in, ¹⁹ Goods for removal make for you, O inhabitant, daughter of Egypt, For Noph becomes a desolation, And has been burnt up, without inhabitant." ²⁰ A heifer very fair [is] Egypt, Rending from the north does come into her." ²¹ Even her hired ones in her midst [are] as calves of the stall, For even they have turned, They have fled together, they have not stood, For the day of their calamity has come on them, The time of their inspection." ²² Its voice as a serpent goes on, For with a force they go, And with axes they have come in to her, As hewers of trees." ²³ They have cut down her forest, An affirmation of Yahweh--for it is not searched, For they have been more than the grasshopper, And they have no numbering." ²⁴ Ashamed has been the daughter of Egypt, She has been given into the hand of the people of the north." ²⁵ Said has Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel:Lo, I am seeing after Amon of No, And after Pharaoh, and after Egypt, And after her elohims, and after her kings, And after Pharaoh, and after those trusting in him, ²⁶ And I have given them into the hand of those seeking their life, And into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, And into the hand of his servants, And afterwards it is inhabited, As [in] days of old--an affirmation of Yahweh." ²⁷ And you, you do not fear, my servant Jacob, Nor [are] you dismayed, O Israel, For lo, I am saving you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob has turned back, And has been at rest, and been at ease, And there is none disturbing." ²⁸ You, you do not fear, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Yahweh--for with you I [am], For I make an end of all the nations Whither I have driven you, And of you I do not make an end, And I have reproved you in judgment, And do not entirely acquit you!'"

² `Declare you among nations, and sound, And lift up an ensign, sound, do not hide, Say you:Captured has been Babylon, Put to shame has been Bel, Broken has been Merodach, Put to shame have been her grievous things, Broken have been her idols."

⁴⁴ And I have seen after Bel in Babylon, And I have brought forth that which he swallowed--from his mouth, And flow no more unto him do nations, Also the wall of Babylon has fallen."

¹ In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth of the month, has a word of Yahweh been unto me, saying, ² `Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt--all of it." <sup>3</sup> Speak, and you have said:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I [am] against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who has said, My flood [is] my own, And I--I have made it [for] myself." <sup>4</sup> And I have put hooks in your jaws, And I have caused the fish of your floods to cleave to your scales, And I have caused you to come up from the midst of your floods, And every fish of your floods to your scales does cleave." <sup>5</sup> And I have left you in the wilderness, You and every fish of your floods, On the face of the field you do fall, You are not gathered nor assembled, To the beast of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens I have given you for food." <sup>6</sup> And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Yahweh, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel." <sup>7</sup> In their taking hold of you by your hand, --you are crushed, And have rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on you you are broken, And have caused all their thighs to stand." <sup>8</sup> Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am bringing in against you a sword, And have cut off from you man and beast." <sup>9</sup> And the land of Egypt has been for a desolation and a waste, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh. Because he said:The flood [is] mine, and I made [it]." <sup>10</sup> Therefore, lo, I [am] against you, and against your floods, And have given the land of Egypt for wastes, A waste, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And unto the border of Cush." <sup>11</sup> Not pass over into it does a foot of man, Yea, the foot of beast does not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years." <sup>12</sup> And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of waste cities, Are a desolation forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands." <sup>13</sup> But thus said the Lord Yahweh:At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples whither they have been scattered, <sup>14</sup> And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been there a low kingdom." <sup>15</sup> Of the kingdoms it is low, And it lifts not up itself any more above the nations, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations." <sup>16</sup> And it is no more to the house of Israel for a confidence, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Yahweh.'" <sup>17</sup> And it comes to pass, in the twenty and seventh year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, has a word of Yahweh been unto me, saying:" <sup>18</sup> `Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Has caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald--every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it." ¹⁹ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he has taken away its store, And has taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it has been a reward to his force." ²⁰ His wage for which he labored I have given to him, The land of Egypt--in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." ²¹ In that day I cause to shoot up a horn to the house of Israel, And to you I give an opening of the mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh!'"

¹³ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:And--I have destroyed idols, And caused vain things to cease from Noph, And a prince of the land of Egypt there is no more, And I give fear in the land of Egypt."

¹⁹ Egypt shall become a desolation, and Edom shall become a wilderness desolation because of wrong done to the sons of Judah--when they shed innocent blood in their land."

¹¹ And He passes in the sea of distress, and He smites the billows in the sea, and all the shadowy depths of the waterway shall be dried. And all the pomp of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall withdraw."

¹⁸ And if a family of Egypt shall not go up, and shall not come, then it is not on them; to it shall come the stroke with which Yahweh will strike all the nations, which will not go up to celebrate the celebration of booths."

⁶⁴ Saying to him is Jesus, "You say it! Moreover, I am saying to you, Henceforth you shall be seeing the Son of Mankind sitting at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven." ⁶⁵ Then the chief priest tears his garments, saying that "He blasphemes! What need have we still of witnesses? Lo! now you hear his blasphemy!"

⁷ Lo! He is coming with clouds, and every eye shall be seeing Him-those, also, who stab Him-and all the tribes of the land shall be grieving over Him. Yea! Amen!"

²² and the three hundred blow the trumpets, and Yahweh sets the sword of each against his companion, even through all the camp; and the camp flees unto Beth-Shittah, at Zererath, unto the border of Abel-Meholah, by Tabbath.

²³ and Elohim sends an evil spirit between Abimelech and the masters of Shechem, and the masters of Shechem deal treacherously with Abimelech,

¹⁶ And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin see, and lo, the multitude has melted away, and it goes on, and is beaten down.

²⁰ And Saul is called, and all the people who [are] with him, and they come in unto the battle, and, lo, the sword of each has been against his neighbor--a very great destruction.

²² And at the time they have begun with singing and praise, Yahweh has put ambushments against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, who are coming in to Judah, and they are smitten, ²³ and the sons of Ammon stand up, and Moab, against the inhabitants of mount Seir, to devote and to destroy, and at their finishing with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped, a man against his neighbor, to destroy.

²¹ Manasseh will eat Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh, and together they will dine on Judah. And in all this His anger does not reverse, and his hand is outstretched still!"

²¹ And I have called against him, to all My mountains a sword, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, The sword of each is against his brother."

²¹ Now brother shall be giving up brother to death, and father, child, and children shall be rising up against parents, and shall be putting them to death."

³⁶ And the enemies of a man are those of his household.

²⁵ Now, having perceived their sentiments, He said to them, "Every kingdom parted against itself is being desolated, and every city or house parted against itself shall not stand."

¹² And the ten horns which you perceived are ten kings who obtained no kingdom as yet, but are obtaining authority as kings one hour with the wild beast." ¹³ These have one opinion, and they are giving their power and authority to the wild beast." ¹⁴ These will be battling with the Lambkin, and the Lambkin will be conquering them, seeing that It is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with It are called and chosen and faithful." ¹⁵ And he is saying to me, "These waters which you perceived, where the prostitute is sitting, are peoples and throngs and nations and languages." ¹⁶ And the ten horns which you perceived, and the wild beast, these will be hating the prostitute, and they will be making her desolate and naked, and they will be eating her flesh, and they will be burning her up with fire, ¹⁷ for God imparts to their hearts to form His opinion, and to form one opinion, and to give their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God shall be accomplished."

³⁷ And it comes to pass in the morning, when the wine is gone out from Nabal, that his wife declares to him these things, and his heart dies within him, and he has been as a stone.

³¹ and David declared, saying, `Ahithophel [is] among the conspirators with Absalom;' and David said, `Make foolish, I pray You, the counsel of Ahithophel, O Yahweh..

¹⁴ And Absalom said--and all the men of Israel--`Better [is] the counsel of Hushai the Archite than the counsel of Ahithophel;' and Yahweh willed to make void the good counsel of Ahithophel for the sake of Yahweh's bringing unto Absalom the evil.

²³ And Ahithophel has seen that his counsel was not done, and he saddles the ass, and rises and goes unto his house, unto his city, and gives charge unto his household, and strangles himself, and dies, and he is buried in the burying-place of his father.

¹³ And Saul dies because of his trespass that he trespassed against Yahweh, against the word of Yahweh that he kept not, and also for asking at a familiar spirit--to inquire, -.

¹⁶ And it comes to pass, in his speaking unto him, that he said to him, `For a counsellor to the king have we appointed you? cease for you; why do they smite you?' And the prophet ceases, and said, `I have known that Elohim has counselled to destroy you, because you have done this, and have not hearkened to my counsel.. ¹⁷ And Amaziah king of Judah takes counsel, and sends unto Joash son of Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, ¹⁸ `Come, we look one another in the face.' And Joash king of Israel sends unto Amaziah king of Judah, saying, `The thorn that [is] in Lebanon has sent unto the cedar that [is] in Lebanon, saying, Give your daughter to my son for a wife; and pass by does a beast of the field that [is] in Lebanon, and treads down the thorn. ¹⁹ You have said, Lo, I have smitten Edom; and your heart has lifted you up to boast; now, abide in your house, why do you stir yourself up in evil, that you have fallen, you, and Judah with you?. ²⁰ And Amaziah has not hearkened, for from Elohim it [is] in order to give them into hand, because they have sought the elohims of Edom;"

¹² He is annulling the devisings of the crafty, So that their hands may not achieve prosperity, ¹³ Seizing the wise in their craftiness, So that their cunning counsel is carried headlong.

¹² He shall restrict the spirit of governors, He Who is fear inspiring to the kings of the earth. {Permanent{ {On Acclamation{ "

²⁷ They circled and staggered like a drunkard, And all their wisdom was swallowed up."

³⁰ There is no wisdom, there is no comprehension, And there is no counsel in confronting Yahweh."

¹⁹ And in case they shall say to you, "Inquire of the mediums, and of the ventriloquists, and of the wizards, the chirpers and the cooers,Should not a people of its Elohim inquire? Who inquires about the living of the dead?

²⁷ For Yahweh of hosts has counseled, and who will annul it? And His hand is outstretched, and who will reverse it?

² It ascends the Bith and Dibon, the fane heights, for lamentation. On Nebo and on Medeba is Moab howling. On all their heads is baldness, and every beard is hacked."

²⁵ Annulling the signs of the inventors of deception, and making the diviners bluster, causing the wise to return backward, and making their knowledge silly,

¹² Then stand, pray, by your magic charms, and by your many enchantments, with which you were acquainted from your youth until today. Perhaps you can benefit! Perhaps you will be staunch!"

¹⁶ For not for the eon will I contend, nor will I be permanently wroth, in case the spirit from before Me shall droop, and all who have breath, that I made."

¹⁵ Wherefore has your bull been swept away? He has not stood, because Yahweh thrust him away."

⁷ and it has come to pass, when they say unto you, For what are you sighing? that you have said:Because of the report, for it is coming, And melted has every heart, And feeble has been all hands, And weak is every spirit, And all knees go--waters, Lo, it is coming, yea, it has been, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh.'"

¹⁴ Does your heart stand--are your hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done [it]."

² Saying is the king to call the sacred scribes and the magi and the enchanters and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. Then they are coming and standing before the king.

⁶ Then from me a decree was promulgated to bring in before me all the wise men of Babylon, that the interpretation of the dream they shall make known to me." ⁷ Then went in the sacred scribes, the magi, the Chaldeans and the hieromancers, and I am stating the dream before them, yet its interpretation they did not make known to me."

⁷ Calling is the king with potency to bring in the magi, the sacred scribes, the Chaldeans, and the hieromancers. Responding is the king and saying to the wise men of Babylon that, "Any mortal who will read this writing and disclose its interpretation to me shall be clothed in purple, with a circlet of gold about his neck, and as the third one in the kingdom shall he have authority."

¹⁹ for the wisdom of this world is stupidity with God. For it is written, "He is clutching the wise in their craftiness." ²⁰ And again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain."

⁷ And it is declared to Saul that David has come in to Keilah, and Saul said, `Elohim has made him known for my hand, for he has been shut in, to enter into a city of doors and bar..

⁸ And You have not locked me up into the hand of the enemy; You have made my feet stand in a wide place.

² And I tangle Egypt with Egypt, and they will fight, each man against his brother, and each man against his associate. And city shall rouse against city, kingdom against kingdom."

⁴ so shall the king of Assyria lead the captives of Egypt, and the deportation of Ethiopia, youths and elders, naked and barefoot, with bared buttock, the nakedness of Egypt."

²⁶ And I have given them into the hand of those seeking their life, And into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, And into the hand of his servants, And afterwards it is inhabited, As [in] days of old--an affirmation of Yahweh."

¹⁹ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he has taken away its store, And has taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it has been a reward to his force."

³⁶ Therefore, thus said Yahweh:Lo, I am pleading your cause, And I have avenged your vengeance, And dried up its sea, and made its fountains dry."

¹² And I have made floods a dry place, And I have sold the land into the hand of evil doers, And I have made desolate the land, And its fulness, by the hand of strangers, I, Yahweh, have spoken."

³ When she could no longer seclude him, then she took for him an ark of papyrus, daubed it with asphalt and with pitch and placed the boy in it; then she placed it in the weeds on the shore of the waterway.

¹⁸ and the fish which are in the waterway shall die, and the waterway will stink, and the Egyptians will be too repelled to drink the waters from the waterway.

²⁴ I have digged, and drunk strange waters, And I dry up with the sole of my steps All floods of a bulwark.

¹¹ Can papyrus grow without a marsh? Can marsh grass grow great having no water?

⁶ For the changeable waters are becoming desolations, for dry is the grass. Vanished is the verdure. Nothing becomes green."

² sending its agents by sea, and in papyrus vessels over the surface of the waters. "Go, fleet messengers, to a nation in suspense and trepidation, to a people fearful, from its boundary and beyond, a nation at the confluences of waters and eroding, from which the streams plunder its land."

²⁵ I scoop and drink waters that are alien, and I will drain with the sole of my footfalls all the waterways of the besieged.'"

³ and in many waters was the seed of the merchant. The harvest of the waterway was her income, and she became the mart of nations."

²⁰ Happiness is yours who sow by all waters, where you are sending the foot of the bull and the ass."

⁴ Because the ground has been broken, For there has been no rain in the land, Ashamed have been husbandmen, They have covered their head."

¹³ And now--it is planted in a wilderness, In a land dry and thirsty."

¹⁷ The parted seeds wizen beneath their dirt lumps:The treasuries are desolate; the underground hoards are demolished, for the grain is dried up." ¹⁸ How the beast sighs! The droves of oxen are doleful, for there is no pasture for them. Even the droves of small cattle are exterminated."

²¹ The fish which were in the waterway died, and the waterway stank so that the Egyptians were unable to drink the waters from the waterway. And the blood came to be in all the land of Egypt.

⁵ We remember the fish which we ate in Egypt gratuitously, the cucumbers and the melons, the leeks, the onions and the garlic!"

¹⁰ And it has come to pass, fishers do stand by it, from En-Gedi even unto En-Eglaim; a spreading place of nets they are; according to their own kind is their fish, as the fish of the great sea, very many."

¹⁵ All of them he brings up with a fishhook; he is impounding them in his seine net and is gathering them in his dragnet, therefore his heart is rejoicing and exulting."

²⁸ And the outgoing of the horses that king Solomon has [is] from Egypt, and from Keveh; merchants of the king take from Keveh at a price;"

¹⁶ I have decorated my divan with decorative covers, With bedspreads of Egyptian yarn."

⁷ Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt has been your sail, To be to you for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah has been your covering."

¹⁹ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Say to Aaron, Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their waterways, over their ponds and over every confluence of their waters that they may become blood. Thus there will come to be blood in all the land of Egypt and in wooden and in stone troughs.

⁵ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Say to Aaron, Stretch out your hand with your rod over the streams, over the waterways and over the ponds, and bring up the frogs on the land of Egypt.

¹⁰ For the land, where you are entering to tenant it, is not like the country of Egypt, that one from where you came forth, in which you sowed your seed and irrigated it with your foot as a garden of greens.

³⁸ And saying is Pharaoh to his servants, "Find will we one as this man, who has the spirit of the Elohim in him? ³⁹ And saying is Pharaoh to Joseph, "After the Elohim has made known to you all this, there is no one as understanding and wise as you.

²² When they went up through the Negev they came unto Hebron, where there Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the children of Anak were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan of Egypt..

³⁰ and the wisdom of Solomon is greater than the wisdom of any of the sons of the east, and than all the wisdom of Egypt;"

¹⁷ Causing counselors to go forth looted, He also makes judges rave as fools.

¹⁰ Yahweh, He annuls the intrigue of the nations; He repudiates the devices of the peoples."

²² I was irrational, and I was ignorant; I became like the beasts before You."

¹² In front of their fathers He had performed a marvel, In the country of Egypt, the field of Zoan:"

⁴³ When He placed His signs in Egypt, And His miracles in the field of Zoan."

⁶ An irrational man, he does not know, And a stupid one, he cannot understand this:"

² Indeed I am brutish, less than a man, And human understanding is not in me."

³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards."

¹³ Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan! Lured away are the chiefs of Noph! They lead Egypt astray, the corner stone of its tribes."

¹⁴ Wherefore, behold Me! I will proceed to distribute this people, and I am distributing them. And perish shall the wisdom of their wise, and the understanding of their understanding ones shall conceal itself."

⁴ For his chiefs come to be in Zoan, and his messengers are attaining Hanes."

¹⁴ Brutish is every man by knowledge, Put to shame is every refiner by a graven image, For false [is] his molten image. And there is no breath in them."

²¹ For the shepherds have become brutish, And Yahweh they have not sought, Therefore they have not acted wisely, And all their flock is scattered."

⁷ Concerning Edom:`Thus said Yahweh of Hosts:Is wisdom no more in Teman? Perished has counsel from the intelligent? Vanished has their wisdom?

²⁶ Mischief on mischief comes, and report is on report, And they have sought a vision from a prophet, And law does perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders,

¹⁴ And I have made Pathros desolate, And I have given fire against Zoan, And I have done judgments in No,

²² And Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, yet was powerful in his words and works."

¹⁹ For it is written, I shall be destroying the wisdom of the wise, and the understanding of the intelligent shall I be repudiating." ²⁰ Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the discusser of this eon? Does not God make stupid the wisdom of this world?

³⁸ And Zebul said unto him, `Where [is] now your mouth, in that you say, Who [is] Abimelech that we serve him? is not this the people against which you have kicked? go out, I pray you now, and fight against it..

⁶ Then He would tell you obscured secrets of wisdom, For reality has double sides; Hence know this:that Eloah is granting you oblivion of some of your depravity. ⁷ Can you find out the fathoming of Eloah? Could you find out the perfection of Him Who Suffices?

²¹ Woe to those wise in their own eyes, and in front of their own face have understanding!"

²⁴ Sworn has Yahweh of hosts, saying, "Should it not, as I likened it, so come to be, and as I counseled it, be arising?

¹³ Who regulates the spirit of Yahweh, and which man is informing Him of His counsel? ¹⁴ Whom does He consult? And who is explaining things to Him, and is teaching Him, in judgment's path? And who is teaching Him knowledge, and the way of understanding is informing Him? Or, who has given to Him first and will be repaid by Him?

²² Let them bring them close, and tell us what will happen. The former things, what they were, let them tell. And We will set our heart on them and know their hereafter. Or the coming things announce to Us." ²³ Tell what will arrive hereafter, and we will know that you are elohim. Indeed, you will do good and do evil. Then will we heed and see it together!"

⁷ And who is as I? Stand shall he and call and tell it! And he shall arrange it for Me, from My placing the eonian people! And the things arriving shall he say, and when they will come shall they tell to you."

¹⁰ And you are trusting in your knowledge. You are saying, `No one is seeing me.' Your wisdom and your knowledge, it turns you back. And you are saying in your heart, `I, and only I, further!'" ¹¹ And evil comes on you. And you are not knowing of the pitfall. And woe shall fall on you. You cannot shelter yourself from it. And coming on you is devastation, and you cannot become clear. And coming on you suddenly is futility, when you shall not know it." ¹² Then stand, pray, by your magic charms, and by your many enchantments, with which you were acquainted from your youth until today. Perhaps you can benefit! Perhaps you will be staunch!" ¹³ You are tired with your many counsels. Standing, pray, are they, and saving you are the astrologers, the seers of visions in the stars, the informers for new moons, from the things which are coming on you?

²⁸ And where [are] your elohims, that you have made to yourself? Let them arise, if they may save you, In the time of your vexation, For--the number of your cities have been your elohims, O Judah,

¹⁷ For the scripture is saying to Pharaoh that "For this selfsame thing I rouse you up, so that I should be displaying in you My power, and so that My name should be published in the entire earth."

³³ O, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How inscrutable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!" ³⁴ For, who knew the mind of the Lord? or, who became His adviser?

²⁰ Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the discusser of this eon? Does not God make stupid the wisdom of this world?

¹⁷ I see him yet not now, I regard him yet not near. A star will tread forth from Jacob; a scepter will arise from Israel, and he will transfix both edges of Moab, and the scalp of all the sons of tumult.

³⁸ And Saul said, `Draw you nigh hither all, the chiefs of the people, and know and see in what this sin has been to-day;"

¹¹ Yea! Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan, the wise counselors of Pharaoh give brutish counsel. How will you say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of former kings"?

¹⁶ Also sons of Noph and Tahapanes Consume you--the crown of the head!

¹⁴ `Declare you in Egypt, and sound in Migdol, Yea, sound in Noph, and in Tahpanhes say:Station yourself, yea, prepare for you, For a sword has devoured around you,

¹⁹ Goods for removal make for you, O inhabitant, daughter of Egypt, For Noph becomes a desolation, And has been burnt up, without inhabitant."

¹⁶ And I have given fire against Egypt, Greatly pained is Sin, and No is to be rent, And Noph has daily distresses."

⁴ From him is the cornerstone, from Him is the peg, from Him is the battle bow, from Him shall every exactor fare forth together."

²² Alleging themselves to be wise, they are made stupid,

⁷ To you, then, who are believing, is the honor, yet to the unbelieving: "A Stone which is rejected by the builders, this came to be for the head of the corner,

²⁰ and Yahweh said, Who does entice Ahab, and he does go up and fall in Ramoth-Gilead? and this one said thus, and that one is saying thus. ²¹ `And the spirit goes out, and stands before Yahweh, and said, I--I do entice him; and Yahweh said unto him, By what? ²² and he said, I go out, and have been a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets; and He said, You do entice, and also you are able; go out and do so. ²³ And now, lo, Yahweh has put a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all these your prophets, and Yahweh has spoken concerning you--evil..

¹⁶ With Him are strength and prosperity; Both the erring one and the one causing error are His.

²⁵ They grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them stray like a drunkard.

⁷ And, moreover, these by wine, do err, and by an intoxicant they stray. Priest and prophet err by an intoxicant. They are swallowed up because of the wine. They stray because of the intoxicant. They err in sight, quaver in mediation, ⁸ for all tables are full of vomit. There fails to be a place without filth.

⁹ Dally and be amazed! Regale yourself and revel! Be drunk, yet not from wine! Sway, yet not from an intoxicant!" ¹⁰ For Yahweh has libated on you a spirit of stupor. And He is restraining your eyes, that is, the prophets, and your heads, the vision seers, He covers."

¹⁵ `For thus said Yahweh Elohim of Israel unto me, Take the wine cup of this fury out of My hand, and you have caused all the nations to drink it unto whom I am sending you;" ¹⁶ And they have drunk, and shaken themselves and shown themselves foolish, because of the sword that I am sending among them."

²⁷ And you have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts Elohim of Israel, Drink you, yea drink abundantly, And vomit, and fall, and rise not, Because of the sword that I am sending among you."

²⁶ Declare you him drunk, For against Yahweh he made himself great And Moab has stricken in his vomit, And he has been for a derision--even he."

⁷ for every one of the house of Israel, and of the sojourners who does sojourn in Israel, who is separated from after Me, and does cause his idols to go up unto his heart, and the stumbling-block of his iniquity sets over-against his face, and has come in unto the prophet to inquire of him concerning Me, I, Yahweh, have answered him for Myself;" ⁸ and I have set My face against that man, and made him for a sign, and for similes, and I have cut him off from the midst of My people, and you have known that I [am] Yahweh." ⁹ `And the prophet, when he is enticed, and has spoken a word--I, Yahweh, I have enticed that prophet, and have stretched out My hand against him, and have destroyed him from the midst of My people Israel."

¹⁷ Now then answering, Jesus said to them, "O generation unbelieving and perverse! Till when shall I be with you? Till when shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me."

¹¹ And therefore God will be sending them an operation of deception, for them to believe the falsehood,

² The fruit of the labor of your palms shall you surely eat; Happy are you, and it will be well for you."

²³ In all grievous labor there is advantage, Yet mere speech of the lips leads only to want."

¹⁴ And Yahweh will cut off from Israel head and tail, frond and rush in one day." ¹⁵ The elder and reputable, he is the head, and a prophet directing with falsehood, he is the tail."

¹⁷ Though the fig tree is not budding, and there is no crop on the vines; the yield of the olive dissimulates, and the plantations yield no food; the flock severs from the fold, and there is no herd in the paddocks;"

¹¹ And I am calling for a drought on the land and on the mountains and on the grain and on the grape juice and on the clarified oil and all which the ground is bringing forth, and on human and on beast and on all the labor of their palms."

¹¹ and that you be ambitious to be quiet, and to be engaged in your own affairs, and to be working with your hands, according as we charge you, ¹² that you may be walking respectably toward those outside and you may have need of nothing.

⁶ Quivering had taken hold of them there, Travail like one giving birth,

³² Still today in Nob is he to stand! He is waving his hand at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, and at the hills of Jerusalem."

¹⁵ Then Yahweh will drain the tongue of the sea of Egypt, and wave His hand over the stream with the vehemence of His wind, and smite it into seven watercourses, and one will tread it in sandals"

¹⁷ One thousand in view of the rebuke of one shall flee, and in view of the rebuke of five, ten thousand of you will flee, till you should be left as a mast on the summit of a mountain, and as a banner on a hill."

³⁰ And caused to be heard by Yahweh is the splendor of His voice, and the dismay of His arm shall He show. In the turbulence of anger, and the blaze of a devouring fire, He will crash and storm, and do it with hail stones heavy." ³¹ For by the voice of Yahweh, Assyria is dismayed, with a club will He smite them." ³² And it comes that every passing of the disciplinary rod, which Yahweh will rest on them, is with tambourines and with harps. And with waving battles He fights against them,

⁵ Surely thus said Yahweh:A voice of trembling we have heard, Fear--and there is no peace." ⁶ Ask, I pray you, and see, is a male bringing forth? Wherefore have I seen every man, His hands on his loins, as a travailing woman, And all faces have been turned to paleness? ⁷ Woe! for great [is] that day, without any like it, Yea, a time of adversity it [is] to Jacob, Yet out of it he is saved."

³⁷ A sword [is] on his horses and on his chariot, And on all the rabble who [are] in her midst, And they have become women; A sword [is] on her treasuries, And they have been spoiled;"

³⁰ Ceased have the mighty of Babylon to fight, They have remained in strongholds, Failed has their might, they have become woman, They have burnt her tabernacles, Broken have been her bars."

¹³ Behold! your people are women within you; verily the gates of your land are opened to your enemies. Fire devours your bars.

⁹ For behold Me waving My hand over them, and they will become loot for their servants. Then you shall know that Yahweh of hosts sent me."

³¹ Fearful is it to be falling into the hands of the living God!

²⁶ This is the counsel counseled by Yahweh over the entire earth, and this is the hand stretched out over all the nations of the habitance." ²⁷ For Yahweh of hosts has counseled, and who will annul it? And His hand is outstretched, and who will reverse it?

² In that era Yahweh speaks by the hand of Isaiah, son of Amoz, saying, "Go and unloose the sackcloth off your waist, and your sandals shall you pull off your feet.And he is doing so, to go naked and barefoot." ³ And saying is Yahweh, "As My servant Isaiah goes naked and barefoot, a three year sign and miracle representing Egypt and Ethiopia, ⁴ so shall the king of Assyria lead the captives of Egypt, and the deportation of Ethiopia, youths and elders, naked and barefoot, with bared buttock, the nakedness of Egypt." ⁵ And they are dismayed and ashamed because of Ethiopia, their trust, and because of Egypt, their beauty."

¹ Now it is coming, in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, that up comes Sennacherib, king of Assyria, against all the defended cities of Judah, and is taking them."

¹⁰ Telling from the beginning, the hereafter, and from aforetime, what has not yet been done. Saying, `All My counsel shall be confirmed, and all My desire will I do.'" ¹¹ Calling from the sunrise, a bird of prey, from a land far off, the man of My counsel. Indeed, I speak! Indeed, I will bring it about! I formed. Indeed, I will do it."

²⁷ And you have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts Elohim of Israel, Drink you, yea drink abundantly, And vomit, and fall, and rise not, Because of the sword that I am sending among you." ²⁸ And it has come to pass, When they refuse to receive the cup out of your hand to drink, That you have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts, You do certainly drink." ²⁹ For lo, in the city over which My name is called, I am beginning to do evil, And you--you are entirely acquitted! You are not acquitted, for a sword I am proclaiming, For all inhabitants of the land, An affirmation of Yahweh of Hosts." ³⁰ And you, you do prophesy unto them all these words, and have said unto them:Yahweh from the high place does roar, And from His holy habitation gives forth His voice, He surely roars for His habitation, A shout as of treaders down, Elohim answers all the inhabitants of the land, ³¹ Wasting has come unto the end of the earth, For a controversy has Yahweh with nations, He has executed judgment for all flesh, The wicked! He has given them to the sword, An affirmation of Yahweh."

²⁸ `And the escaped of the sword turn back out of the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, few in number, and known have all the remnant of Judah who are coming into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, whose word is established, Mine or theirs."

⁶ And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Yahweh, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel." ⁷ In their taking hold of you by your hand, --you are crushed, And have rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on you you are broken, And have caused all their thighs to stand."

³⁵ All abiding on the earth are reckoned as naught:According to His will is He doing in the army of the heavens and with those abiding on the earth. And no one will actually clap with his hands and say to Him, "What doest Thou?

¹ Now coming is the entire earth to be of one lip, all of one speech.

²⁰ Yahweh your Elohim shall you fear, and Him shall you serve; to Him shall you cling, and by His name shall you swear.

²⁹ are laying hold on their brethren, their honorable ones, and coming in to an execration, and in to an oath, to walk in the law of Elohim, that was given by the hand of Moses, servant of Elohim, and to observe and to do all the commands of Yahweh our Lord, and His judgments, and His statutes;"

³¹ Let envoys arrive from Egypt; Let Nubia run with its hands stretched out to Elohim.

¹¹ The eyes of the haughty human are low, and prostrate is the highness of mortals, and Yahweh alone is impregnable in that day."

¹¹ And it comes, in that day, Yahweh will proceed to lift up His hand, to be zealous for the remnant of His people which will remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Babylon, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from Arabia, and from the coastlands of the sea."

¹⁹ In that day there shall be an altar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a monument beside its boundary to Yahweh."

²¹ Then Yahweh shall be known to Egypt, and Egypt shall know Yahweh in that day, and they serve with sacrifice and approach present, and vow a vow to Yahweh and pay it."

¹³ And it comes, in that day, blown shall be a great trumpet, and those perishing in the land of Assyria will come, and those expelled in the land of Egypt, and worship Yahweh in the holy mount in Jerusalem."

²³ By Myself I swear. From My mouth fares forth righteousness, and My word shall not be recalled. For to Me shall bow every knee, and every tongue shall acclaim to Elohim." ²⁴ Yea, in Yahweh,He says to me, "is righteousness and strength. Unto Him shall come all ashamed, who are hot against Him."

¹⁶ And it has come to pass, If they learn well the ways of My people, To swear by My name, `Yahweh lives,' As they taught My people to swear by Baal, Then they have been built up in the midst of My people."

⁹ For then I will turn a pure lip to the peoples, for them all to call on the name of Yahweh, to serve Him with one shoulder-blade."

¹¹ And many nations shall be obligated to Yahweh in that day, and they become His people. When I tabernacle in your midst, then shall you know that Yahweh of hosts sent me to you."

⁷ And appearing is Yahweh to Abram and is saying to him, "To your seed am I giving this land.And building is Abram there an altar to Yahweh, Who appeared to him.

¹⁸ And early is Jacob rising in the morning, and taking is he the stone which he had placed there for his pillow, and is placing it for a monument, and pouring oil on its top.

⁴ Now Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh. And he rose early in the morning and built an altar below the mountain and twelve stone monuments for the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹⁰ and they come in unto the districts of the Jordan, which [are] in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, build there an altar by the Jordan--a great altar for appearance.

²⁶ `And we say, Pray let us prepare for ourselves to build the altar--not for burnt-offering nor for sacrifice-.

²³ And it comes, according to the monthly quota in its month, and according to the sabbath quota in its sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me in Jerusalem,says Yahweh."

¹⁵ And those afar shall come and they shall build the temple of Yahweh. Then shall you know that Yahweh of hosts sent me to you. And it shall come to be if you diligently hearken to the voice of Yahweh, your Elohim."

¹⁰ We have an altar from which they have no right to be eating, who offer divine service in the tabernacle."

²³ In the course of these many days it came to be that the king of Egypt died. Yet the sons of Israel sighed under the servitude and cried out, and their imploration ascended to the One, Elohim, out of the servitude.

⁷ Then Yahweh said: I see, yea see the humiliation of My people who are in Egypt. And I hear their crying because of the presence of their exactors; for I know their pains.

²⁰ and these twelve stones, which they have taken out of the Jordan, has Joshua raised up in Gilgal. ²¹ And he speaks unto the sons of Israel, saying, `When your sons ask their fathers hereafter, saying, What [are] these stones?

²⁷ but a witness it [is] between us and you, and between our generations after us, to do the service of Yahweh before Him with our burnt-offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace-offerings, and your sons do not say hereafter to our sons, You have no portion in Yahweh. ²⁸ `And we say, And it has been, when they say [so] unto us, and unto our generations hereafter, that we have said, See the pattern of the altar of Yahweh, which our fathers made--not for burnt-offering nor for sacrifice--but a witness it [is] between us and you.

³⁴ And the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad proclaim concerning the altar, that `it [is] a witness between us that Yahweh [is] Elohim..

²⁶ And Joshua writes these words in the Book of the Law of Elohim, and takes a great stone, and raises it up there under the oak which [is] in the sanctuary of Yahweh. ²⁷ And Joshua said unto all the people, `Lo, this stone is against us for a witness, for it has heard all the sayings of Yahweh which He has spoken with us, and it has been against you for a witness, lest you lie against your Elohim..

⁴ And Jehoahaz appeases the face of Yahweh, and Yahweh hearkens unto him, for He has seen the oppression of Israel, for oppressed them has the king of Aram, -. ⁵ and Yahweh gives to Israel a saviour, and they go out from under the hand of Aram, and the sons of Israel dwell in their tents as heretofore;"

¹⁵ And call upon Me in the day of distress; I shall liberate you, and you shall glorify Me."

⁴ And I hold the Egyptians in check by the hand of obstinate lords, and a strong king shall rule among them,averring is the Lord, Yahweh of hosts."

³⁶ And faring forth is a messenger of Yahweh and smiting in the Assyrian camp a hundred and eighty five thousand. And the king is rising early in the morning--and behold! All of them are corpses--dead!

²¹ Tell, and bring them close. Indeed, they shall consult together. Who announced this from aforetime? Hitherto, Who told it? Not I, Yahweh? And no one else is Elohim, apart from Me. An El, just, and a Saviour. And none is there, except Me." ²² Face to Me and be saved, all the limits of the earth, for I am El, and there is none else."

²⁵ For thus says Yahweh, "Even the captive of a master will be taken, and the booty of the terrifier will escape. Yet with your contender I will contend, and your sons I will save." ²⁶ And I feed those tyrannizing over you with their own flesh, and as with juice, with their own blood shall they be drunk. Then all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, am your Saviour, and your Redeemer is the Sturdy One of Jacob."

⁵ And now, what is for Me here,averring is Yahweh, "that My people are taken gratuitously? Their rulers are howling,averring is Yahweh, "and continually, the entire day, My name is spurned among the nations."

¹³ And instead of the thorn tree, up shall come the fir, and instead of the nettle, up shall come the myrtle. And it comes to be to Yahweh for a name, and for a sign eonian that shall not be cut off."

¹¹ for today was brought forth to you a Saviour, Who is Christ, the Lord,

¹³ anticipating that happy expectation, even the advent of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ,

⁴ Lo! the wage of the workers, who mow your country places, which has been withheld by you, is crying, and the imploring of the reapers has entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts."

⁴⁶ This day does Yahweh shut you up into my hand--and I have smitten you, and turned aside your head from off you, and given the carcase of the camp of the Philistines this day to the fowl of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth, and all the earth do know that Elohim is for Israel.

⁴³ You do hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have done according to all that the stranger calls unto You for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have builded.

² In knowing Your way in the earth, Your salvation among all nations,

² Yahweh has made known His salvation; To the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness. ³ He has remembered His benignity and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the limits of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.

⁴ When you vow a vow to Elohim, do not delay to pay it, For there is no delight in those who are stupid; That which you vow, pay."

⁹ They will not do evil, nor will they ruin, in all My holy mountain, for full is the earth of the knowledge of Yahweh. As water for the sea floor is a covering."

²⁰ And now, Yahweh, our Elohim, pray, save us, from his hand, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall know that You, Yahweh, are Elohim, You alone."

⁵ This one will say, `I am for Yahweh,' and this one will call in the name of Jacob, and this one will write with his hand, `For Yahweh.' And in the name `Israel' is he entitled."

⁵ Behold! A nation not known to you, you shall call, and a nation which does not know you, to you shall run, on account of Yahweh, your Elohim, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He beautifies you."

⁷ I bring them also to My holy mountain, and I make them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascent approaches and their sacrifices shall ascend for acceptance on My altar, for My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all the peoples,

¹⁶ And the men are fearing Yahweh with great fear, and they are sacrificing a sacrifice to Yahweh, and they are vowing vows."

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh's glory, as the waters are covering over the sea."

¹⁰ From across the streams of Ethiopia, My entreaters, the daughter of My scattered ones, shall fetch My approach present."

¹⁶ And it shall come to be that everyone left of all the nations coming against Jerusalem, shall also go up, a quota, year by year, to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the celebration of booths." ¹⁷ And it comes, whoever will not go up from the families of the earth, to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, then the downpour shall not come on them." ¹⁸ And if a family of Egypt shall not go up, and shall not come, then it is not on them; to it shall come the stroke with which Yahweh will strike all the nations, which will not go up to celebrate the celebration of booths."

¹¹ For from the rising of the sun unto its setting, great is My name among the nations, and in every place incense is being brought close for My name, and a clean approach present. For My name is great among the nations, says Yahweh of hosts."

²¹ Jesus is saying to her, "Believe Me, woman, that, coming is an hour when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem shall you be worshiping the Father." ²² You are worshiping that of which you are not aware; we are worshiping that of which we are aware, for salvation is of the Jews." ²³ But coming is the hour, and now is, when the true worshipers will be worshiping the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also is seeking such to be worshiping Him." ²⁴ God is spirit, and those who are worshiping Him must be worshiping in spirit and truth."

³ Now it is eonian life that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Him Whom Thou dost commission, Jesus Christ."

²⁷ For they are delighted, and they are their debtors, for if the nations participate in their spiritual things, they ought to minister to them in fleshly things also." ²⁸ When, then, performing this, and sealing to them this fruit, I shall be coming away through you into Spain."

⁸ But then, indeed, having no perception of God, you were slaves of those who, by nature, are not gods." ⁹ Yet now, knowing God, yet rather being known by God, how are you turning back again to the infirm and poor elements for which you want to slave again anew?

⁵ you, also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, into a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, most acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. "

⁹ Yet you are a chosen race, a "royal priesthood,a "holy nation,a procured people, so that you should be recounting the virtues of Him Who calls you out of darkness into His marvelous light,

³⁹ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other elohim besides Me. I Myself put to death, and I keep alive; I have transfixed, and I Myself shall heal, and there is no one who could reclaim from My hand!"

¹⁸ For He Himself causes pain, and He shall bind up; He stabs, and His hands, they shall heal.

¹⁰ And see you to see, yet you must not be knowing. Stouten the heart of this people, and their ears make heavy, and their eyes make squint. Lest they are seeing with their eyes, and with their ears are hearing, and with their heart are understanding, and, turning back, then healing is theirs."

¹ LOAD OF EGYPT "Behold Yahweh riding on a thick cloud! It is fleet, and He comes to Egypt. And the forbidden idols of Egypt are swayed by His presence, and the heart of Egypt is melting within it." ² And I tangle Egypt with Egypt, and they will fight, each man against his brother, and each man against his associate. And city shall rouse against city, kingdom against kingdom." ³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards." ⁴ And I hold the Egyptians in check by the hand of obstinate lords, and a strong king shall rule among them,averring is the Lord, Yahweh of hosts." ⁵ And absorbed are the waters from the upper sea, and the stream shall be drained and be dry." ⁶ And the streams evaporate, and are impoverished, and the waterways of lower Egypt drain. The reeds and the weeds are withered." ⁷ Naked places are on the waterway, at the mouth of the waterway, and all that sown by the waterway is drying, and it is whisked away, and is not." ⁸ And the fishers complain, and mourn do all flingers of fishhooks into the waterway, and the spreaders of a dragnet on the surface of the waters are enfeebled." ⁹ And ashamed are the cultivators of yellow flax, and the weavers of pale cotton." ¹⁰ And its settlers become crushed. All workers for hire are marshy of soul. ¹¹ Yea! Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan, the wise counselors of Pharaoh give brutish counsel. How will you say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of former kings"? ¹² Whereat, indeed, are your wise? And, pray, will they tell to you, and will they know what Yahweh of hosts counsels over Egypt? ¹³ Foolish are the chiefs of Zoan! Lured away are the chiefs of Noph! They lead Egypt astray, the corner stone of its tribes." ¹⁴ Yahweh blends within it a depraved spirit. They lead Egypt astray in its every deed, as a drunkard strays in his vomit." ¹⁵ And not coming to Egypt is work, which head or tail, frond or rush shall do."

¹⁴ Thus says Yahweh of hosts, "The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, mortals of exceptional measure, shall pass over to you and become your servants. After you shall they go. In manacles shall they pass. And to you shall they prostrate, and to you shall they pray:`Yea, among you is the El, and no one else is the limit of the Elohim.'"

⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins."

¹⁵ For I will go and return to My place till they are pleading guilty, and they seek My face. In their distress they will seek Me early, saying:"

² He will make us alive after two days:In the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live before Him."

¹ Return, O Israel, unto Yahweh, your Elohim, for you stumble in your depravity."

⁶ And, moreover, I give you teeth innocent of food in all your cities, and lack of bread in all your places. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)." ⁷ And, moreover, I withhold from you the downpour, while still three months to harvest, and I cause rain on one city, and on another city I am not causing rain; one portion was rained upon, and the portion upon which I am not causing rain is drying up." ⁸ And two or three cities rove to one city to drink water, yet they are not satisfied. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)." ⁹ I smite you with blasting and with green mold. The increase of your gardens and your vineyards and your figs and your olives, the larva of the locust is devouring. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)." ¹⁰ I send among you a plague in the way as in Egypt. I kill your chosen men by the sword, with the captivity of your horses, and I am making the stink of your camp ascend even in your nose. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)." ¹¹ I overturn among you as Elohim overturned Sodom and Gomorrah, and you are becoming as a wooden poker rescued from the burning. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)." ¹² Wherefore, thus will I do to you, Israel! Inasmuch that this I will do to you, prepare to meet your Elohim, O Israel!"

¹⁷ extricating you from the people and from the nations, to whom I am commissioning you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them about from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, for them to get a pardon of sins and an allotment among those who have been hallowed by faith that is in Me.'" ¹⁹ Whence, king Agrippa, I did not become stubborn as to the heavenly apparition, " ²⁰ but first to those in Damascus, besides in Jerusalem also, besides to the entire province of Judea, and to the nations, I reported that they are to be repenting and turning back to God, engaging acts worthy of repentance."

²⁶ saying, 'Go to this people and say, "In hearing, you will be hearing, and may by no means be understanding, And observing, you will be observing, and may by no means be perceiving, ²⁷ For stoutened is the heart of this people, And with their ears heavily they hear, And with their eyes they squint, Lest at some time they may be perceiving with their eyes, And with their ears should be hearing, And with their heart may be understanding, And should be turning about, And I shall be healing them.'"

¹¹ Now all discipline, indeed, for the present is not seeming to be a thing of joy, but of sorrow, yet subsequently it is rendering the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it."

¹⁶ And there comes to be a highway for the remnant of His people, who will remain from Assyria, and in Egypt, as it came to be for Israel in the day they came up from the land of Egypt."

⁸ And there comes to be a highway and a clean one. And the holy way shall it be called. The unclean shall not pass there. And it shall be for those going that way, yet the dispersed shall not go astray on it, and the foolish shall not stray." ⁹ Nor shall a lion come there, and a breacher of living things will fail to ascend it. It shall not be found there. Yet the redeemed shall go into it, ¹⁰ and the ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and they shall enter Zion with jubilation, and rejoicing eonian shall be on their head. Elation and rejoicing shall they overtake, and flee shall affliction and sighing."

³ The voice of one calling:"In the wilderness, surface the way of Yahweh! And straighten, in the gorge, a highway for our Elohim!" ⁴ Every ravine shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall be lowered. And all the crooked shall come to be straight, and the knobs a valley." ⁵ And revealed is the glory of Yahweh, and all flesh sees the salvation of Elohim.For the mouth of Yahweh speaks."

¹⁸ for through Him we both have had access, in one spirit, to the Father." ¹⁹ Consequently, then, no longer are you guests and sojourners, but are fellow-citizens of the saints and belong to God's family, ²⁰ being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, the capstone of the corner being Christ Jesus Himself, ²¹ in Whom the entire building, being connected together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord:" ²² in Whom you, also, are being built together for God's dwelling place, in spirit."

⁶ the nations are to be joint enjoyers of an allotment, and a joint body, and joint partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the evangel" ⁷ of which I became the dispenser, in accord with the gratuity of the grace of God, which is granted to me in accord with His powerful operation." ⁸ To me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations,

² And make you will I into a great nation, and bless you will I and make your name great, and become must you a blessing.

⁴³ Jubilate, O heavens, together with Him, and worship Him, all the messengers of Elohim! Jubilate, O nations, with His people! For the blood of His servants shall He avenge, vengeance to His foes shall He return, and a propitiatory shelter shall He make for the ground of His people.

¹ Praise Yahweh, all nations! Laud Him, all clans!" ² For His benignity is masterful over us, And Yahweh's faithfulness is eonian. Praise Yah."

¹³ Yet still a tenth remains in it, for it turns back, and it becomes consumed as a terebinth. Yet, as an oak which, when flung down, is a monument, among them, the holy seed is its monument."

⁶ And he is saying to me, "A slight thing is it for you to become My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and the dispersed of Israel to restore. Behold! I give you also for a light of the nations, to become My salvation unto the ends of the earth."

²² For thus says my Lord Yahweh, "Behold! I will lift My hand to the nations, and to the peoples will I raise My banner high. And they bring your sons in a bosom pouch, and your daughters on the shoulders shall be borne,

⁸ Thus says Yahweh, "As when finding the grape juice in the cluster, and it is said, `You must not ruin it, for a blessing is in it,' so am I doing on account of My servants, to avoid the ruin of the whole."

²² They will not build, and another dwell; they will not plant, and another eat. For as the days of the tree of life are the days of My people, and their handiwork shall be worn out by My chosen."

¹² For thus says Yahweh, "Behold Me stretching out welfare to her, as a stream, and, as a watercourse overflowing, the glory of the nations. And suck do you. On the side are you being borne, and on the knees are you being dandled."

¹⁹ And I place among them a sign, and I send, from those delivered, to the nations, to Tharshish and Pul and Lud and Meshech and Quesheth, Tubal and Javan, and the coastlands afar, who have not heard of My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they tell of My glory, among the nations." ²⁰ And they bring all your brethren from all the nations as an approach present to Yahweh, on horses, and in chariots, and in coaches, and on mules, and in saddle baskets, to My holy mountain, Jerusalem,says Yahweh, "As the sons of Israel are bringing their approach present in a clean vessel to the house of Yahweh." ²¹ And moreover, from them, to Me will I take for priests and for Levites,says Yahweh."

²⁶ And I have given them, and the suburbs of my hill, a blessing, And caused the shower to come down in its season, Showers of blessing they are."

¹⁰ Be jubilant and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold Me coming! And I tabernacle in your midst, (averring is Yahweh)." ¹¹ And many nations shall be obligated to Yahweh in that day, and they become His people. When I tabernacle in your midst, then shall you know that Yahweh of hosts sent me to you."

¹³ And it shall come to be, just as you came to be a slight among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will become a blessing. You must not fear! Your hands shall be steadfast!"

²⁰ Thus says Yahweh of hosts:Still it shall be that many peoples shall come, and the dwellers of many cities." ²¹ And the dwellers of five cities shall go to another city, saying, We are going assuredly to beseech the face of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of hosts; I am going, moreover." ²² And many peoples and staunch nations will come to seek Yahweh of hosts in Jerusalem, and to beseech the face of Yahweh." ²³ Thus says Yahweh of hosts:In those days ten mortals, from all the languages of the nations, will take fast hold. And they will take fast hold of the hem of a man, a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we hear that Elohim is with you."

³² A Light for the revelation of nations, And the Glory of Thy people Israel."

¹¹ For the scripture is saying: Everyone who is believing on Him shall not be disgraced. ¹² For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same One is Lord of all, being rich for all who are invoking Him." ¹³ For everyone, whoever should be invoking the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

⁹ Yet the nations are to glorify God for His mercy, according as it is written, "Therefore I shall be acclaiming Thee among the nations,And to Thy name shall I be playing music." ¹⁰ And again he is saying, "Be merry, ye nations, with His people!" ¹¹ And again he is saying, "Praise the Lord, all the nations,And "let all the peoples laud Him." ¹² And again Isaiah is saying, there will be "the root of Jesse, And He Who is rising to Chief of the nations: On Him will the nations rely."

²⁷ For they are delighted, and they are their debtors, for if the nations participate in their spiritual things, they ought to minister to them in fleshly things also."

¹⁴ that the blessing of Abraham may be coming to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we may be obtaining the promise of the spirit through faith."

²⁴ May Yahweh bless you and keep you;

²⁷ Thus they will place My name over the sons of Israel and I Myself shall bless them.

¹ Balaam saw that it was good in the eyes of Yahweh to bless Israel so he did not go out, as he had done time upon time, to meet auguries, yet set his face toward the wilderness.

⁹ For the portion of Yahweh is His people; Jacob is the line of His allotment.

⁶ The earth, it has given its crop; Elohim, our Elohim, is blessing us." ⁷ Elohim is blessing us, And all the limits of the earth shall fear Him. {Permanent{ "

³ Know that Yahweh, He is Elohim; He it is Who has made us, and we are His. His people are we and the flock of His pasture."

¹⁵ Blessed be you by Yahweh, Maker of the heavens and earth."

⁸ Yahweh, He shall perfect in my future; O Yahweh, Your benignity is for the eon. The works of Your hands, O do not relax. {Permanent{ "

²³ For when they see their boys, the work of My hands, within them, they will hallow My name, and they will hallow the Holy One of Jacob, and by the Elohim of Israel shall they be terrified."

¹¹ Thus says Yahweh Elohim, the Holy One of Israel, and its Former, "`What is arriving?' you ask Me. Yet concerning My sons and concerning My daughters, and concerning your contrivance of My hands are you instructing Me!"

²¹ And your people, all of them are righteous; for the eon shall they tenant the land, the scion of Yahweh's planting, the making of His hand, to beautify itself."

⁹ And known among the nations is their seed, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All seeing them shall recognize them, that they are the seed blessed by Yahweh Elohim."

⁸ And now, Yahweh, You are our Father. And we are the clay. You are our Former, and the doing of Your hand are we all."

²³ They shall not labor for naught, nor shall they generate for decadence. For the seed of the blessed of Yahweh are they, and their offspring with them."

²³ Then I sow her to Myself in the land, and I have compassion on Lo-ruhamah. And I say to Lo-ammi, My people are you! And he is saying, Yahweh, my Elohim are You."

²⁹ Or is He the god of the Jews only? Is He not of the nations also?

²⁴ us, whom He calls also, not only out of the Jews, but out of the nations also." ²⁵ As He is saying in Hosea also: I shall be calling those who are not My people "My people,And she who is not beloved "Beloved,

¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything, but a new creation."

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who blesses us with every spiritual blessing among the celestials, in Christ,

¹⁰ For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them."

⁶ having this same confidence, that He Who undertakes a good work among you, will be performing it until the day of Jesus Christ:"

¹⁰ and putting on the young, which is being renewed into recognition, to accord with the Image of the One Who creates it, ¹¹ wherein there is no Greek and Jew, Circumcision and Uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, freeman, but all and in all is Christ."

¹⁰ who once were "not a peopleyet now are the people of God, who "have not enjoyed mercy,yet now are "being shown mercy."
