¹⁹ Smashed by smashing is the earth. Quashed by quashing is the earth. Slipped by slipping is the earth.

⁶ and what He did to Dathan and to Abiram, sons of Eliab son of Reuben, when the earth opened wide its mouth and swallowed them up even with their households and their tents and everyone who had risen, who had walked in their footsteps, from among all Israel.

¹ Behold, Yahweh making void, the land, and evacuating it! And He denudes its surface, and scatters its dwellers." ² And it comes to be, as people, so priest, as servant, so his lord, as maid, so her mistress, as buyer, so seller, as borrowee, so borrower, as lender, so him to whom is lent." ³ Voided, yea voided shall be the land, and plundered, yea plundered shall be the ground. For the mouth of Yahweh speaks this word." ⁴ Mournful, disintegrated is the earth. Enfeebled, disintegrated is the habitance. Enfeebled are the heights of the people of the land, ⁵ and the land is polluted under its dwellers. For they trespass against the laws; they vary the statute; they annul the covenant eonian.

⁴ All the host of the heavens shall decay, and rolled up as a scroll are the heavens, and all their host shall decay as decays the leaf from the vine, and as a decaying leaf from the fig tree." ⁵ For soaked in the heavens shall be My sword. Behold! On Edom shall it descend, and on the people I doom for judgment." ⁶ The sword of Yahweh will be full of blood. It lubricates itself from the fat of lambs, and from the blood of butting rams and he-goats, from the fat of kidneys of rams. For there shall be a sacrifice to Yahweh in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom." ⁷ And down come the uruses with them, and the young bulls with the bulls, and their land will be soaked with blood, and their soil shall be sleek from fat." ⁸ For a day of vengeance is it for Yahweh, a year of repayments for the contention of Zion." ⁹ And its watercourses will be turned into pitch, and its soil into sulphur, and its land shall become as pitch, ¹⁰ and shall be consumed by night and by day, and it will not be quenched for the eon; its smoke shall ascend from generation to generation, and it shall be deserted permanently, for permanence, and no one shall pass in it."

²³ I looked [to] the land, and lo, waste and void, And unto the heavens, and their light is not." ²⁴ I have looked [to] the mountains, And lo, they are trembling. And all the hills moved themselves lightly." ²⁵ I have looked, and lo, man is not, And all fowls of the heavens have fled." ²⁶ I have looked, and lo, The fruitful place [is] a wilderness, And all its cities have been broken down, Because of Yahweh, Because of the fierceness of His anger." ²⁷ For thus said Yahweh:All the land is a desolation, but a completion I make not." ²⁸ For this does the land mourn, And black have been the heavens above, because I have spoken--I have purposed, And I have not repented, Nor do I turn back from it."

⁵ The mountains quake because of Him, and the hills dissolve. The earth is upheaving because of His presence, and the habitance and all dwelling in it."

⁶ He stands and is measuring the earth; he sees and is letting loose the nations. And the mountain ranges of futurity are scattering; the eonian hills bow down; his goings are eonian.

³ Now at His sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what is the sign of Thy presence and of the conclusion of the eon?

¹¹ And I perceived a great white throne, and Him Who is sitting upon it, from Whose face earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them."
