¹⁹ Have You utterly rejected Judah? Zion has Your soul loathed? Wherefore have You smitten us, And there is no healing to us? Looking for peace, and there is no good, And for a time of healing, and lo, terror."

¹⁹ Also Judah has not kept the commands of Yahweh their Elohim, and they walk in the statutes of Israel that they had made. ²⁰ And Yahweh kicks against all the seed of Israel, and afflicts them, and gives them into the hand of spoilers, till that He has cast them out of His presence,

¹⁶ and they are mocking at the messengers of Elohim, and despising His words, and acting deceitfully with His prophets, till the going up of the fury of Yahweh against His people--till there is no healing.

²⁶ Indeed I expected good, yet evil came, And I waited for light, yet gloom has come instead.

⁵⁹ Elohim heard, and He was enraged, And He utterly rejected Israel."

¹² Why have You breached its stone dikes, So that all who are passing by the way nip off its fruit? ¹³ The boar from the wildwood gorges on it, And the field mammal, it grazes upon it."

³⁸ Yet You have cast off and are rejecting; You are enraged with Your anointed.

³⁰ `Silver rejected,' they have called to them, For Yahweh has kicked against them!"

²⁹ Cut off your crown, and cast [it] away, And lift up on high places lamentation, For Yahweh has rejected, And He leaves the generation of His wrath."

¹⁵ Looking for peace--and there is no good, For a time of healing, and lo, terror."

²² Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? For wherefore has not the health of the daughter of my people gone up?

⁸ Mine inheritance has been to Me as a lion in a forest, She gave forth against Me with her voice, Therefore I have hated her."

¹ And Yahweh said unto me:Though Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My soul is not toward this people, Send from before My face, and they go out."

¹⁸ Why has my pain been perpetual? And my wound incurable? It has refused to be healed, You are surely to me as a failing stream, Waters not stedfast."

¹³ There is none judging your cause to bind up, Healing medicines there are none for you."

¹³ What shall I testify to you? What shall I liken to you, daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equate to you, that I may comfort you, virgin daughter of Zion? For your brokenness is great as the sea; who shall heal you?

¹⁷ Furthermore for us our eyes are exhausted looking for our help in vain; From our watchtower we watched for a nation which could not save us.

²² Unless You have rejected us yea utterly rejected, and are wrathful against us exceedingly."

⁸ And I am suppressing three shepherds in one month. Yet my soul is impatient with them; and, moreover, their soul is nauseated with me." ⁹ Then I am saying, I will not graze you. The dying will die; and the suppressed will be suppressed; and the remainder will eat, each woman, of the flesh of her mate."

¹ I am saying, then, Does not God thrust away His people? May it not be coming to that! For I also am an Israelite, out of Abraham's seed, Benjamin's tribe." ² God does not thrust away His people whom He foreknew. Or have you not perceived in Elijah what the scripture is saying, as he is pleading with God against Israel? ³ Lord, Thy prophets they kill, Thine altars they dig down, and I was left alone, and they are seeking my soul." ⁴ But what is that which apprises saying to him? I left for Myself seven thousand men who do not bow the knee to the image of Baal. ⁵ Thus, then, in the current era also, there has come to be a remnant according to the choice of grace." ⁶ Now if it is in grace, it is no longer out of works, else the grace is coming to be no longer grace. Now, if it is out of works, it is no longer grace, else the work is no longer work."

³ Now whenever they may be saying "Peace and security,then extermination is standing by them unawares, even as a pang over the pregnant, and they may by no means escape."
