² Therefore, thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, Against the shepherds who feed My people, You have scattered My flock, and drive them away, And have not inspected them, Lo, I am charging on you the evil of your doings, An affirmation of Yahweh."

³⁴ And now, go, guide the people to the place of which I spoke to you. Behold, My messenger shall go before you, and in the day of My visitation, then I will visit on them their sin.

⁹ For these do I not lay a charge? An affirmation of Yahweh, And on a nation such as this, Does not My soul avenge itself?

²⁹ For these do not I inspect, an affirmation of Yahweh, On a nation such as this, Does not My soul avenge itself?

¹² They were ashamed when they did abomination! Yea, they are not at all ashamed, And blushing they have not known, Therefore, they do fall among falling ones, In the time of their inspection they stumble, said Yahweh."

²² Therefore, thus said Yahweh of Hosts:`Lo, I am seeing after them, The chosen ones die by sword, Their sons and their daughters die by famine,

²¹ What do you say, when He looks after you? And you--you have taught them [to be] over you--leaders for head? Do not pangs seize you as a travailing woman?

¹² O house of David, thus said Yahweh:Decide you judgment at morning, And deliver the plundered from the hand of the oppressor, Lest My fury go forth as fire, And has burned, and none is quenching, Because of the evil of your doings."

³⁴ And the prophet, and the priest, and the people, That said, The burden of Yahweh, I have seen after that man, and after his house."

¹³ And I visit on her the days of the Baals, in which she was fuming incense to them and ornamenting herself with her pendant and her eardrop, and she is going after her lovers, and she forgot Me, (averring is Yahweh)."

⁴ Their good is as prickly nightshade; their uprightness is a hedge. The day of your watchmen, your visitation, comes; now shall be their perplexity."

³⁶ naked and you clothed Me; infirm am I and you visit Me; in jail was I and you come to Me.'

⁴³ a stranger was I and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; infirm and in jail and you did not visit Me.'

²⁷ for ritual clean and undefiled with God the Father is this: to be visiting the bereaved and widowed in their affliction, to be keeping oneself unspotted from the world."
