⁴⁰ As overthrown by Elohim with Sodom, And with Gomorrah, and with its neighbors, An affirmation of Yahweh, none does dwell there, Nor sojourn in her does a son of man."

²⁴ And Yahweh rains on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulphur and fire from Yahweh, from the heavens. ²⁵ And overturning is He these cities and the entire basin, and all dwelling in the cities and everything sprouting from the ground.

²³ its whole land a burnt waste of sulfur and salt; it shall not be sown, neither shall it sprout, nor shall any herbage ascend in it, like the overturning of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overturned in His anger and in His fury-.

⁹ Unless Yahweh of hosts reserves for us a few survivors, as Sodom would we become, and to Gomorrah would we be likened."

¹⁹ And it comes that Babylon, the stateliest of kingdoms, the beauty, the pomp of the Chaldeans, shall be as the overturning of Sodom and Gomorrah by the Elohim." ²⁰ It shall not be indwelt permanently, nor shall anyone tabernacle there further, for generation after generation, nor shall the Arabian tent there, nor shepherds recline their flocks there."

¹⁸ As the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, And its neighbors, said Yahweh, No one does dwell there, Nor sojourn in her does a son of man."

²⁶ And they take not out of you a stone for a corner, And a stone for foundations, For desolations eonian are you, An affirmation of Yahweh."

⁸ How shall I dispense to you, Ephraim? Shall I award you, Israel? How shall I dispense to you as Admah? Shall I make you as Zeboim? My heart is turned in Me; my comfortings are fervid together." ⁹ I will not execute the heat of My anger; I will not return to ruin Ephraim, for the El am I, and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not enter into the city."

¹¹ I overturn among you as Elohim overturned Sodom and Gomorrah, and you are becoming as a wooden poker rescued from the burning. Yet you do not return unto Me, (averring is Yahweh)."

⁹ Therefore, Living am I, (averring is Yahweh of hosts, the Elohim of Israel), for:Moab shall become as Sodom, and the sons of Ammon as Gomorrah:A tenancy of prickly acanthus, and salt diggings, and a desolation till the eon. The remnant of My people shall plunder them, and the rest of My nation shall allot them."

²⁸ Likewise, according as it occurred in the days of Lot, they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built." ²⁹ Yet on the day in which Lot came out from Sodom, fire and sulphur rains from heaven and destroys them all." ³⁰ In accord with these will it be on the day in which the Son of Mankind is unveiled.

⁶ and condemns the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to cinders by an overthrow, having placed them as an example for those about to be irreverent:"

⁷ As Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them in like manner to these committing ultra-prostitution, and coming away after other flesh, are lying before us, a specimen, experiencing the justice of fire eonian."

⁸ And their corpses will be at the square of the great city which, spiritually, is being called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord, also, was crucified."

⁸ Therefore in one day shall her calamities be arriving; death and mourning and famine. And she shall be burned up with fire, for strong is the Lord God Who judges her." ⁹ And the kings of the earth, who commit prostitution and indulge with her, will be lamenting and grieving over her whenever they may be observing the smoke of her conflagration,
