²⁷ For He condenses the drops of water That filter as rain for His mist,

⁵ and every shrub of the field ere it is coming to be in the earth, and all herbage of the field ere it is sprouting, at that time Yahweh Elohim does not bring rain on the earth, and there was no human to serve the ground. ⁶ Yet humidity is ascending from the earth and irrigates all the surface of the ground.

⁹ Doer of great deeds, of which there is no fathoming, Marvelous works of which there is no enumeration,

³³ His thunder tells about it, The cattle, also, about what is coming up.

²⁵ Who has divided off a trench for overflowing rains And set a pathway for the perceptible portents of thunderclaps, ²⁶ To bring rain on a land where no man is, A wilderness with no human it it, ²⁷ To satisfy areas of ruination and wasteness, And to cause verdure to sprout from the arid place? ²⁸ Is there a father for the rain? Or who has begotten the globules of dew?

³⁴ Can you raise up your voice to the thick clouds That the accumulation of water may cover you?

⁹ You will supervise the land and shall make it flourish; Much shall you enrich it. The rillet of Elohim will fill with water. You shall provide their grain, for thus shall You prepare it." ¹⁰ You will soak its furrows and settle its slashes; With showers shall You soften it; Its sprouting shall You bless. ¹¹ You will crown the year with Your goodness, And Your rounds shall drip with richness." ¹² The oases of the wilderness shall drip richly, And with exultation the hills shall be girded." ¹³ The meadows will be clothed with the flock, And the vales, they shall droop with cereal grain. ⁸ The One covering the heavens with thick clouds, The One preparing rain for the earth, The One sprouting grass on the mountains,

⁸ Fire and hail, snow and fume, Tempestuous wind, performing His word,

⁶ And I am making My vineyard into a chaos, and it is not being pruned. And not being hoed, and up come buckthorn and spines. And I am instructing the thick clouds over it to keep from raining rain on it."

²² Are there among the vanities of the nations any causing rain? And do the heavens give showers? Are not You He, O Yahweh our Elohim? And we wait for you, for You--You have done all these!"
