Job 5:19 Cross References - CLV

¹⁹ In six distresses He shall rescue you, And in seven, evil shall not touch you.

¹⁹ Many are the evils on the righteous one, But Yahweh shall rescue him from them all,

³ For He Himself shall rescue you from the snare of the trapper, From the plague of woes." ⁴ With His pinions shall He overshadow you, And under His wings shall you take refuge; A large shield and encircling-guard is His faithfulness." ⁵ You shall not fear the alarm at night, Or the arrow that flies by day, ⁶ Neither the plague that walks in gloom, Nor the sting that devastates at high noon." ⁷ A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; It shall not come close to you." ⁸ But with your eyes you shall look And see the repayment of the wicked. ⁹ For You, O Yahweh, are my Refuge! Because you have made the Supreme your habitation, ¹⁰ Evil shall not be your fate, And contagion, it shall not approach into your tent."

¹⁶ For the righteous one shall fall seven times and still rise, Yet the wicked shall be stumbled by evil."

¹³ No trial has taken you except what is human. Now, faithful is God, Who will not be leaving you to be tried above what you are able, but, together with the trial, will be making the sequel also, to enable you to undergo it."

⁸ For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning our affliction which came to us in the province of Asia, that we were inordinately burdened, over our ability, so that we were despairing of life also."

⁹ the Lord is acquainted with the rescue of the devout out of trial, yet is keeping the unjust for chastening in the day of judging,
