¹⁹ And Joshua said unto the people, `You are not able to serve Yahweh, for an Elohim most holy He [is]; a zealous El He [is]; He does not bear with your transgression and with your sins.

⁵ You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor be made to serve them, for I, Yahweh your Elohim, am a jealous El, visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those hating Me,

²¹ Guard yourself in view of him and hear his voice. Do not embitter him, for he shall not bear with your transgression, for My name is within him.

⁷ preserving kindness to thousands, bearing with depravity, transgression and sin, yet He is not immediately making innocent in order to make innocent, but visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons and on the sons' sons, on the third and on the fourth generation.

¹⁴ For you shall not bow yourself down to another el (for Yahweh, Jealous is His name; He is a jealous El.

³ Then Moses said to Aaron:That is what Yahweh spoke of, saying:Among those near Me shall I be hallowed, and in the presence of all the people shall I be glorified. Aaron was still;"

² Speak to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them:Holy shall you become, for I am holy, Yahweh your Elohim.

²⁶ So you will become holy to Me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and I am separating you from the peoples to become Mine.

²³ and, now, turn aside the elohims of the stranger which [are] in your midst, and incline your heart unto Yahweh, Elohim of Israel..

¹⁵ So Naomi said to Ruth, Behold, your sister-in-law has turned back to her people and to her elohim. Turn back after your sister-in-law.

¹⁴ and therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli:the iniquity of the house of Eli is not atoned for, by sacrifice, and by offering--unto the eon..

²⁰ And the men of Beth-Shemesh say, `Who is able to stand before Yahweh, this holy Elohim? and unto whom does He go up from us?.

¹⁶ and they are mocking at the messengers of Elohim, and despising His words, and acting deceitfully with His prophets, till the going up of the fury of Yahweh against His people--till there is no healing.

⁵ Exalt Yahweh our Elohim, And bow down at His footstool, For holy is He."

⁹ Exalt Yahweh our Elohim, And bow down at His holy mountain, For holy is Yahweh our Elohim."

¹⁶ And lofty is Yahweh of hosts in judgment, and holy El is hallowed in righteousness."

³ And one calls to another, and says, "Holy! Holy! Holy! Yahweh of hosts! All the earth is filled with His glory!" ⁴ And the cubit widths of the thresholds are swaying at the sound of the call. And the house is filling with smoke. ⁵ And saying am I, "Alack to me! For stilled am I, for a man of unclean lips am I, and amidst a people of unclean lips am I dwelling, for the King, Yahweh of hosts, my eyes have seen!"

¹¹ when its grass is dry. Women shall look forward, coming to enlighten it, for it is not a people of understanding. Therefore no compassion is its Maker showing to it, and its Former will not be gracious to it."

¹¹ Withdraw from the way, turn aside from the path. Eradicate from our face the Holy One of Israel."

¹⁵ For thus says my Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel:"By returning and resting shall you be saved. In quietness and in trust shall come your mastery. Yet you are not willing to hear."

¹³ You are of cleaner eyes than to see evil, and to look at toil You are not able. Why are You looking at the treacherous, are silent when the wicked swallow one up more righteous than he?

²⁴ Now no one can be slaving for two lords, for either he will be hating the one and loving the other, or will be upholding one and despising the other. You can not be slaving for God and mammon."

²⁵ Now vast throngs went together with Him. And, being turned, He said to them, ²⁶ If anyone is coming to Me and is not hating his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and still more his soul besides, he can not be My disciple." ²⁷ And anyone who is not bearing his cross and coming after Me, can not be My disciple. " ²⁸ For which of you, wanting to build a tower, is not first seated to calculate the expense, to see if he has the wherewithal?-" ²⁹ lest at some time, he laying a foundation and not being strong enough to finish up, all those beholding should begin to scoff at him, ³⁰ saying that 'This man begins building and is not strong enough to finish up!' ³¹ Or what king, going to engage another king in battle, will not, being seated, first plan to see if he is able to meet, with ten thousand, him who is coming against him with twenty thousand? ³² Otherwise, surely, at his being still at a distance, he, dispatching an embassy, is asking the terms of peace." ³³ Thus, then, everyone of you who is not taking leave of all of his possessions, can not be My disciple."

²⁰ But that that which the nations are sacrificing, they are sacrificing to demons and not to God. Now I do not want you to become participants with the demons." ²¹ You can not drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can not be partaking of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. ²² Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Not stronger that He are we!
