1 Now Jesus, full of holy spirit, returns from the Jordan, and was led in the spirit in the wilderness" 2 forty days, undergoing trial by the Adversary. And He did not eat of anything in those days, and subsequently, at their being concluded, He hungers." 3 Now the Adversary said to Him, "If you are God's son, speak to this stone that it may be becoming bread." 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written that, 'Not on bread alone shall man be living, but on every declaration...of God.'" 5 And, leading Him up into a high mountain, the Adversary shows Him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in a second of time." 6 And the Adversary said to Him, "To you shall I be giving all this authority and the glory of them, for it has been given up to me, and to whomsoever I may will, I am giving it." 7 If you, then, should ever be worshiping before me, it will all be yours." 8 And answering, Jesus said to Him, "Go away behind Me, Satan! It is written, The Lord your God shall you be worshiping, and to Him only shall you be offering divine service." 9 Now he led Him into Jerusalem and stands Him on the wing of the sanctuary, and he said to Him, "If you are God's son, cast yourself down hence, 10 for it is written that 'His messengers shall be directed concerning Thee, To protect Thee.'" 11 and that 'On their hands shall they be lifting Thee, Lest at some time Thou shouldst be dashing Thy foot against a stone.'" 12 And answering, Jesus said to him that "It has been declared, 'You shall not be putting on trial the Lord your God.'" 13 And, concluding every trial, the Adversary withdrew from Him until an appointed time." 14 And Jesus returns, in the power of the spirit, into Galilee. And the fame concerning Him came out down the whole of the country about." 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all." 16 And He came to Nazareth, where He was reared, and, according to His custom on the day of the sabbaths, He entered into the synagogue and rose to read." 17 And handed to Him was a scroll of the prophet Isaiah, and, opening the scroll, He found the place where it was written, 18 The spirit of the Lord is on Me, On account of which He anoints Me to bring the evangel to the poor. He has commissioned Me to heal the crushed heart, To herald to captives a pardon, And to the blind the receiving of sight; To dispatch the oppressed with a pardon." 19 To herald an acceptable year of the Lord..." 20 And furling the scroll, giving it back to the deputy, He is seated. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were looking intently at Him." 21 Now He begins to be saying to them that "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears." 22 And all testified of Him and marveled at the gracious words which are issuing out of His mouth. And they said, "Is not this Joseph's son? 23 And He said to them, "Undoubtedly you will be declaring to Me this parable: 'Physician, cure yourself!' 'Whatever we hear occurring in Capernaum do here also in your own country.'" 24 Now He said, "Verily, I am saying to you that no one who is a prophet is acceptable in his own country." 25 Now of a truth I am saying to you, that many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when heaven is locked for three years and six months, as a great famine came to be over the entire land, 26 and to none of them was Elijah sent, except into Sarepta of Sidonia, to a widow woman." 27 And many lepers were in Israel under Elisha the prophet, and none of them is cleansed except Naaman the Syrian." 28 And filled with fury are all who are in the synagogue, at hearing these things, 29 and rising, they cast Him outside of the city. And they led Him to the brow of the mountain on which their city had been built, so as to push Him over the precipice." 30 Yet He, passing through their midst, went." 31 And He came down into Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and He was teaching them on the sabbaths." 32 And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority." 33 And in the synagogue was a man having the spirit of an unclean demon, and it cries out with a loud voice, 34 saying, "Ha! what is it to us and to you, Jesus the Nazarean? Did you come to destroy us? I am aware who you are-the holy One of God!" 35 And Jesus rebukes it, saying, "Be still, and come out from him!And, pitching him into their midst, the demon came out from him, in nothing harming him." 36 And awe came on all, and they conferred with one another, saying, "What word is this? for with authority and power is He enjoining the unclean spirits, and they are coming out!" 37 And a hubbub went out concerning Him to every place in the country about. 38 Now, rising from the synagogue, Jesus entered into the house of Simon. Now the mother-in-law of Simon was pressed by a high fever, and they ask Him about her." 39 And standing by over her, He rebukes the fever, and the fever leaves her. Now instantly, rising, she waited on them." 40 Now at the setting of the sun, all, whoever had those who are infirm with various diseases, led them also to Him. Now He, placing His hands on each one of them, cures them. " 41 Now demons also came out from many, clamoring and saying that "You are the Christ, the Son of God!And, rebuking them, He did not let them speak, for they had perceived that He is the Christ." 42 Now at the coming of day, coming out, He went into a desolate place. And the throngs sought for Him, and they came to Him and detained Him, so as not to be going from them." 43 Now He said to them that "To other cities also I must bring the evangel of the kingdom of God, for for this was I commissioned." 44 And he was heralding in the synagogues of Judea.

Genesis 3:15

15 And enmity am I setting between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He shall hurt your head and you shall hurt his heel.

25 You shall serve Yahweh your Elohim, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away illness from among you.

Leviticus 25:50-54

50 He will compute with his buyer the total from the year he sold himself to him until the year of the jubilee. And the silver for his release sale will be with regard to the number of years, as though he were for the days of a hireling under him. 51 Should there still be many years, corresponding to them he shall refund for his redemption out of the silver of his buying price. 52 And if few years remain until the year of jubilee then he will compute the amount due to him corresponding to his remaining years, and he shall refund it for his redemption. 53 (As a hireling, year by year shall he be with him; he shall not hold sway over him with rigor before your eyes.. 54 If he is not being redeemed in any of these ways then he will go forth in the year of the jubilee, he and his sons with him.

Numbers 15:35

35 Yahweh said to Moses:The man shall be put to death, yea death. The whole congregation shall pelt him with stones outside the camp.

Numbers 36:4

4 When the jubilee comes for the sons of Israel then their allotment would be added onto the allotment of the stock to which they should belong; and from the allotment of our fathers' stock their allotment might be subtracted.

9 `Rise, go to Zarephath, that [is] to Zidon, and you have dwelt there; lo, I have commanded there a widow woman to sustain you.. 10 And he rises, and goes to Zarephath, and comes in unto the opening of the city, and lo there, a widow woman gathering sticks, and he calls unto her, and said, `Bring, I pray you, to me, a little water in a vessel, and I drink.. 11 And she goes to bring [it], and he calls unto her and said, `Bring, I pray you, to me a morsel of bread in your hand.. 12 And she said, `Yahweh your Elohim lives, I have not a cake, but the fulness of the hand of meal in a pitcher, and a little oil in a dish; and lo, I am gathering two sticks, and have gone in and prepared it for myself, and for my son, and we have eaten it--and died.. 13 And Elijah said unto her, `Fear not, go, do according to your word, only make for me thence a little cake, in the first place, and you have brought out to me; and for you and for your son make--last;" 14 for thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, The pitcher of meal is not consumed, and the dish of oil is not lacking, till the day of Yahweh's giving a shower on the face of the ground.. 15 And she goes, and does according to the word of Elijah, and she eats, she and he, and her household--days;" 16 the pitcher of meal was not consumed, and the dish of oil did not lack, according to the word of Yahweh that He spoke by the hand of Elijah. 17 And it comes to pass, after these things, the son of the woman, mistress of the house, has been sick, and his sickness is very severe till that no breath has been left in him. 18 And she said unto Elijah, `What--to me and to you, O man of Elohim? you have come unto me to cause mine iniquity to be remembered, and to put my son to death!. 19 And he said unto her, `Give to me your son;' and he takes him out of her bosom, and takes him up unto the upper chamber where he is abiding, and lays him on his own bed, 20 and cries unto Yahweh, and said, `Yahweh my Elohim, also on the widow with whom I am sojourning have You done evil--to put her son to death?. 21 And he stretches himself out on the lad three times, and calls unto Yahweh, and said, `O Yahweh my Elohim, let turn back, I pray You, the soul of this lad into his midst;. 22 and Yahweh hearkens to the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the lad turns back into his midst, and he lives. 23 And Elijah takes the lad, and brings him down from the upper chamber of the house, and gives him to his mother, and Elijah said, `See, your son lives!. 24 And the woman said unto Elijah, `Now, this I have known, that a man of Elohim you [are], and the word of Yahweh in your mouth [is] truth..

1 Kings 18:1-2

1 And the days are many, and the word of Yahweh has been unto Elijah in the third year, saying, `Go, appear unto Ahab, and I give rain on the face of the ground;. 2 and Elijah goes to appear unto Ahab. And the famine is severe in Samaria,

1 Kings 18:12

12 and it has been, I go from you, and the Spirit of Yahweh does lift you up, whither I know not, and I have come to declare to Ahab, and he does not find you, and he has slain me; and your servant is fearing Yahweh from my youth.

1 Kings 19:4

4 and he himself has gone into the wilderness a day's Journey, and comes and sits under a certain retem-tree, and desires his soul to die, and said, `Enough, now, O Yahweh, take my soul, for I [am] not better than my fathers..

1 Kings 19:8

8 and he rises, and eats, and drinks, and goes in the power of that food forty days and forty nights, unto the mount of Elohim--Horeb.

1 Kings 19:19-21

19 And he goes thence, and finds Elisha son of Shaphat, and he is plowing; twelve yoke [are] before him, and he [is] with the twelfth; and Elijah passes over unto him, and casts his robe upon him, 20 and he forsakes the oxen, and runs after Elijah, and said, `Let me give a kiss, I pray you, to my father and to my mother, and I go after you.' And he said to him, `Go, turn back, for what have I done to you?. 21 And he turns back from after him, and takes the yoke of oxen, and sacrifices it, and with instruments of the oxen he has boiled their flesh, and gives to the people, and they eat, and he rises, and goes after Elijah, and serves him.

2 Kings 5:1-27

1 And Naaman, head of the host of the king of Aram, was a great man before his lord, and accepted of face, for by him had Yahweh given salvation to Aram, and the man was mighty in valor--leprous. 2 And the Arameans have gone out [by] troops, and they take captive out of the land of Israel a little damsel, and she is before the wife of Naaman, 3 and she said unto her mistress, `O that my lord [were] before the prophet who [is] in Samaria; then he does recover him from his leprosy.. 4 And [one] goes in and declares to his lord, saying, `Thus and thus she has spoken, the damsel who [is] from the land of Israel.. 5 And the king of Aram said, `Go you, enter, and I send a letter unto the king of Israel;' and he goes and takes in his hand ten talents of silver, and six thousand [pieces] of gold, and ten changes of garments. 6 And he brings in the letter unto the king of Israel, saying, `And now, at the coming in of this letter unto you, lo, I have sent unto you Naaman my servant, and you have recovered him from his leprosy.. 7 And it comes to pass, at the king of Israel's reading the letter, that he rends his garments, and said, `Am I Elohim, to put to death and to keep alive, that this [one] is sending unto me to recover a man from his leprosy? for surely know, I pray you, and see, for he is presenting himself to me.. 8 And it comes to pass, at Elisha the man of Elohim's hearing that the king of Israel has rent his garments, that he sends unto the king, saying, `Why have you rent your garments? let him come, I pray you, unto me, and he does know that there is a prophet in Israel.. 9 And Naaman comes, with his horses and with his chariot, and stands at the opening of the house for Elisha;" 10 and Elisha sends unto him a messenger, saying, `Go, and you have washed seven times in Jordan, and your flesh does turn back to you--and be you clean. 11 And Naaman is wroth, and goes on, and said, `Lo, I said, Unto me he does certainly come out, and has stood and called in the name of Yahweh his Elohim, and waved his hand over the place, and recovered the leper. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? do I not wash in them and I have been clean?' and he turns and goes on in fury. 13 And his servants come nigh, and speak unto him, and say, `My father, a great thing had the prophet spoken unto you--do you not do [it]? and surely, when he has said unto you, Wash, and be clean.. 14 And he goes down and dips in Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of Elohim, and his flesh does turn back as the flesh of a little youth, and is clean. 15 And he turns back unto the man of Elohim, he and all his camp, and comes in, and stands before him, and said, `Lo, I pray you, I have known that there is not an Elohim in all the earth except in Israel; and now, take, I pray you, a blessing from your servant.. 16 And he said, `Yahweh lives, before whom I have stood--if I take [it];' and he presses on him to take, and he refuses. 17 And Naaman said, `If not--let be given, I pray you, to your servant, a couple of mules' burden of earth, for your servant does make no more burnt-offering and sacrifice to other elohims, but to Yahweh. 18 For this thing Yahweh be propitious to your servant, in the coming in of my lord into the house of Rimmon to bow himself there, and he was supported by my hand, and I bowed myself [in] the house of Rimmon; for my bowing myself in the house of Rimmon Yahweh be propitious, I pray you, to your servant in this thing.. 19 And he said to him, `Go in peace.' And he goes from him a kibrath of land, 20 And Gehazi, servant of Elisha the man of Elohim, said, `Lo, my lord has spared Naaman this Aramean, not to receive from his hand that which he brought; Yahweh lives; surely if I have run after him, then I have taken from him something.. 21 And Gehazi pursues after Naaman, and Naaman sees one running after him, and alights from off the chariot to meet him, and said, `Is there peace?. 22 And he said, `Peace; my lord has sent me, saying, Lo, now, this, come unto me have two young men from the hill-country of Ephraim, of the sons of the prophets; give, I pray you, to them, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.. 23 And Naaman said, `Be pleased, take two talents;' and he urges on him, and binds two talents of silver in two purses, and two changes of garments, and gives unto two of his young men, and they bear before him;" 24 and he comes in unto the high place, and takes out of their hand, and lays up in the house, and sends away the men, and they go. 25 And he has come in, and does stand by his lord, and Elisha said unto him, `Whence--Gehazi?' and he said, `Your servant went not hither or thither.. 26 And he said unto him, `My heart went not when the man turned from off his chariot to meet you; is it a time to take silver, and to take garments, and olives, and vines, and flock, and herd, and men-servants, and maid-servants? 27 yea, the leprosy of Naaman does cleave to you, and to your seed, --to the eon;' and he goes out from before him--leprous as snow.

Who is able to pardon sins except One - God? 8 And straightway Jesus, recognizing in His spirit that they are reasoning thus in themselves, is saying to them, "Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts? 9 What is easier, to be saying to the paralytic, 'Pardoned are your sins,' or to be saying, 'Rouse and pick up your pallet and walk'? 10 Now, that you may be perceiving that the Son of Mankind has authority on earth to pardon sins(He is saying to the paralytic), 11 To you am I saying, Rouse, and pick up your pallet and go into your house." 12 And he was roused, and, straightway, picking up the pallet, he came out in front of all, so that all are amazed and are glorifying God, saying that, "Thus we never perceived it!"
