⁴⁸ Now if that evil slave should be saying in his heart, 'Delaying is my lord,'"

⁴ Do not say in your heart when Yahweh your Elohim thrusts them out from before you, saying:Because of my own righteousness Yahweh brings me in to tenant this land. Rather it is because of the wickedness of these nations that Yahweh is evicting them before your face.

⁹ Guard yourself lest there should be in your heart the decadent word, saying:The seventh year is near, the year of the release, so that your eye is evil toward your needy brother, and you give him nothing. Then he may call out to Yahweh concerning you, and it will be held as a sin against you.

²⁶ And he said unto him, `My heart went not when the man turned from off his chariot to meet you; is it a time to take silver, and to take garments, and olives, and vines, and flock, and herd, and men-servants, and maid-servants?

²² Now he is saying to him, 'Out of your mouth will I judge you, wicked slave! You were aware that I am a harsh man, picking up what I do not lay down and reaping what I do not sow."

² And at the coming of dinner, the Adversary already having cast into the heart of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, that he may be giving Him up,

³ Now Peter said, "Ananias, wherefore does Satan fill your heart for you to falsify to the holy spirit and to embezzle from the price of the freehold?

²² Repent, then, from this evil of yours, and beseech the Lord, if, consequently, the notion of your heart will be forgiven you."
