¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying. ² You are to obtain the sum of the sons of Kohath from the midst of the sons of Levi by their families, by their fathers' house, ³ from thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all those coming to the Levitical host, to do the work in the tent of appointment. ⁴ This is the carrier service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment:the holy of holies. ⁵ For Aaron will come in, and his sons, when the camp is to journey, and they will take down the portiere curtain and cover the coffer of the testimony with it. ⁶ They will put on it a cover of azure hide and spread over it a cloth wholly of blue from above and put its poles in place. ⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it. ⁸ Then they will spread over them a cloth of double-dipped crimson, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ⁹ They will take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the luminary, its lamps and its snuffers, its fire-pans and all its oil vessels with which they minister to it. ¹⁰ Then they will put it and all its furnishings into a cover of azure hide and put it on the slider bar. ¹¹ Also on the golden altar shall they spread a blue cloth, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ¹² They will take all the furnishings of the ministry with which they minister in the holy place and wrap them in a blue cloth and cover them with a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹³ Then they will degrease the copper altar, spread over it a purple clot. ¹⁴ and put on it all its furnishings with which they minister on it, the fire-pans, the forks and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls, all the furnishings of the altar; they will spread over it a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. And they will take a purple cloth and cover the laver and its base and put them into a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things with all the furnishings of the holy things when the camp is to journey, then afterward the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. Yet they shall not touch the holy things lest they die. These are the load of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment. ¹⁶ Under the supervision of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the luminary, the incense of spices, the regular approach present and the anointing oil; he has the supervision over the whole tabernacle and all that is in it, among the holy things and its furnishings. ¹⁷ Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying. ¹⁸ Do not let the tribe of the Kohathite families be cut off from the midst of the Levites. ¹⁹ Yet this do for them, and they will live and shall not die when they come close to the holy of holies:Aaron and his sons shall come and will appoint them, each man to his service and to his load. ²⁰ Yet they shall not come in to see the sanctuary in dismantling, for they would die. ²¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ²² You are to obtain the sum of the sons of Gershon, of them also by their fathers' house, by their families. ²³ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to enlist with the Levitical host to serve in the service in the tent of appointment. ²⁴ This is the service of the Gershonite families, to serve and to carry loads. ²⁵ They will carry the sheets of the tabernacle and the tent of appointment, its covering and the azure cover which is on it from above and the portiere of the opening of the tent of appointment, ²⁶ also the slung sheets of the court and the portiere of the opening of the gate of the court which is surrounding the tabernacle and the altar, and their cords and all the furnishings for their service; in all which is to be done with regard to them, they will serve. ²⁷ At the bidding of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonite, for all their load and for all their service. And you will commit to them as a charge all of their load. ²⁸ This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonite in the tent of appointment. And their charge is in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. ²⁹ As for the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' house you shall muster them. ³⁰ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to the Levitical host to serve in the service of the tent of appointment. ³¹ This is the charge of their load for all their service in the tent of appointment:the hollow tapers of the tabernacle with its bars, its columns and its sockets, ³² the columns around the court with their sockets, their pegs and their cords with all their furnishings and with all their servicing. By names shall you check all the furnishings of the charge of their load. ³³ This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari for all their service in the tent of appointment in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. ³⁴ Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation mustered the sons of the Kohathite by their families and by their fathers' house, ³⁵ from thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old, everyone coming to the Levitical host for service in the tent of appointment, ³⁶ their mustered ones by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty. ³⁷ These were the ones being mustered of the Kohathite families, everyone serving in the tent of appointment whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses. ³⁸ As for the ones being mustered of the sons of Gershon, by their families and by their fathers' house, ³⁹ from thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old, everyone coming to the Levitical host for service in the tent of appointment, ⁴⁰ their mustered ones by their families, by their fathers' house, were two thousand six hundred thirty. ⁴¹ These were the ones being mustered of the families of the sons of Gershon, everyone serving in the tent of appointment, whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh, by means of Moses. ⁴² As for the ones being mustered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' house, ⁴³ from thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old, everyone coming to the Levitical host for service in the tent of appointment, ⁴⁴ their mustered ones by their families were three thousand two hundred. ⁴⁵ These were the ones being mustered of the families of the sons of Merari whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses. ⁴⁶ All the ones being mustered whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel mustered of the Levites by their families and by their fathers' house, ⁴⁷ from thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old, everyone coming to serve on the servicing service and the carrying service in the tent of appointment, ⁴⁸ their mustered ones were eight thousand five hundred eighty. ⁴⁹ At the bidding of Yahweh one mustered them, by means of Moses, each man for his service and for his load; thus they were being mustered by him just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

¹⁹ and the sons of Kohath by their families:Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel;"

²⁷ Belonging to Kohath were the Amramite family, the Izharite family, the Hebronite family and the Uzzielite family. These were those of the Kohathite families.

⁴⁶ And Joseph is thirty years old when he stands before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And forth is Joseph faring from the face of Pharaoh, and passing through all the land of Egypt.

⁷ For they will keep charge for him and charge for the whole congregation before the tent of appointment to serve in the service of the tabernacle. ⁸ They will keep all the furnishings of the tent of appointment and the charge for the sons of Israel to serve in the service of the tabernacle.

²³ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to enlist with the Levitical host to serve in the service in the tent of appointment.

²⁴ This is what applies to the Levites. From twenty-five years old and upward may one come to enlist with the Levitical host in the service of the tent of appointment. ²⁵ And from fifty years old shall one retire from the active service in the Levitical host and shall serve no longer; ²⁶ yet he may minister to his brothers in the tent of appointment, so as to keep guard, though in active service he shall not serve. Thus shall you deal with the Levites in regard to their charges.

⁹ Is it too little a thing for you that the Elohim of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel to bring you near to Him to serve in the service of the tabernacle of Yahweh and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?

⁴ And in the seventh year has Jehoiada sent and takes the heads of the hundreds, of the executioners and of the runners, and brings them in unto him, to the house of Yahweh, and makes with them a covenant, and causes them to swear in the house of Yahweh, and shows them the son of the king, ⁵ and commands them, saying, `This [is] the thing that you do; The third of you [are] going in on the sabbath, and keepers of the charge of the house of the king, <sup>6</sup> and the third [is] at the gate of Sur, and the third at the gate behind the runners, and you have kept the charge of the house pulled down;" <sup>7</sup> and two parts of you, all going out on the sabbath--they have kept the charge of the house of Yahweh about the king, <sup>8</sup> and you have compassed the king round about, each with his weapons in his hand, and he who is coming unto the ranges is put to death; and be you with the king in his going out and in his coming in.. <sup>9</sup> And the heads of the hundreds do according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded, and take each his men going in on the sabbath, with those going out on the sabbath, and come in unto Jehoiada the priest, <sup>10</sup> and the priest gives to the heads of the hundreds the spears and the shields that king David had, that [are] in the house of Yahweh. <sup>11</sup> And the runners stand, each with his weapons in his hand, from the right shoulder of the house unto the left shoulder of the house, by the altar and by the house, by the king round about;" <sup>12</sup> and he brings out the son of the king, and puts on him the crown, and the testimony, and they make him king, and anoint him, and smite the hand, and say, `Let the king live..

⁴⁸ And their brethren the Levites are put to all the service of the tabernacle of the house of Elohim.

³ and the Levites are numbered from a son of thirty years and upward, and their number, by their polls, is of mighty men thirty and eight thousand. ⁴ Of these to preside over the work of the house of Yahweh [are] twenty and four thousand, and officers and judges six thousand, ⁵ and four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Yahweh, `with instruments that I made for praising,' [said David..

²⁴ These [are] sons of Levi, by the house of their fathers, heads of the fathers, by their appointments, in the number of names, by their polls, doing the work for the service of the house of Yahweh, from a son of twenty years and upward, ²⁵ for David said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, has given rest to His people, and He does tabernacle in Jerusalem unto the eon;. <sup>26</sup> and also of the Levites, `None [are] to bear the tabernacle and all its vessels for its service;. ²⁷ for by the last words of David they [took] the number of the sons of Levi from a son of twenty years and upward, ²⁸ for their station [is] at the side of the sons of Aaron, for the service of the house of Yahweh, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the cleansing of every holy thing, and the work of the service of the house of Elohim, ²⁹ and for the bread of the arrangement, and for fine flour for present, and for the thin unleavened cakes, and for [the work of] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all [liquid] measure and [solid] measure;" ³⁰ and to stand, morning by morning, to give thanks, and to give praise to Yahweh, and so at evening;" ³¹ and for all the burnt-offerings--burnt-offerings to Yahweh for sabbaths, for new moons, and for appointed seasons, by number, according to the ordinance upon them continually, before Yahweh. ³² And they have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren, for the service of the house of Yahweh.

¹² and the pattern of all that has been by the Spirit with him, for the courts of the house of Yahweh, and for all the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of Elohim, and for the treasures of the things sacrificed;" ¹³ and for the courses of the priests and of the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all vessels of service of the house of Yahweh,

¹ And in the seventh year has Jehoiada strengthened himself, and takes the heads of the hundreds, even Azariah son of Jeroham, and Ishmael son of Jehohanan, and Azariah son of Obed, and Maaseiah son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat son of Zichri, with him into covenant. ² And they go round about in Judah, and gather the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and heads of the fathers of Israel, and come in unto Jerusalem, ³ and all the assembly make a covenant in the house of Elohim with the king, and he said to them, `Lo, the son of the king does reign, as Yahweh spoke concerning the sons of David. <sup>4</sup> `This [is] the thing that you do:The third of you, going in on the sabbath, of the priests, and of the Levites, [are] for gatekeepers of the thresholds, ⁵ and the third [are] at the house of the king, and the third at the gate of the foundation, and all the people [are] in the courts of the house of Yahweh. ⁶ `And none does enter the house of Yahweh except the priests, and those ministering of the Levites (they go in for they [are] holy), and all the people keep the watch of Yahweh. <sup>7</sup> and the Levites have compassed the king round about, each with his weapon in his hand, and he who has gone in unto the house is put to death; and be you with the king in his coming in and in his going out.. <sup>8</sup> And the Levites and all Judah do according to all that Jehoiada the priest has commanded, and take each his men going in on the sabbath, with those going out on the sabbath, for Jehoiada the priest has not let away the courses. <sup>9</sup> And Jehoiada the priest gives to the heads of the hundreds the spears, and the shields, and the bucklers that [are] king David's, that [are] in the house of Elohim;" <sup>10</sup> and he stations the whole of the people, and each his dart in his hand, from the right shoulder of the house unto the left shoulder of the house, at the altar, and at the house, by the king, round about. <sup>11</sup> And they bring out the son of the king, and put upon him the crown, and the testimony, and cause him to reign; and Jehoiada and his sons anoint him, and say, `Let the king live!.

⁸ In the second year of their coming to the site of the House of Elohim at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak and the remnants of their brother priests and Levites started with all who had come from the captivity to Jerusalem. They installed Levites from twenty years of age and above to oversee the work on the House of Yahweh.

²³ And He, Jesus, when beginning, was about thirty years old, being a son (as to the law) of Joseph, of Eli, of Matthat, of Levi,

³ For, walking in flesh, we are not warring according to the flesh. " ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God toward the pulling down of bulwarks; "

¹⁰ For the rest, brethren mine, be invigorated in the Lord and in the might of His strength." ¹¹ Put on the panoply of God, to enable you to stand up to the stratagems of the Adversary, ¹² for it is not ours to wrestle with blood and flesh, but with the sovereignties, with the authorities, with the world-mights of this darkness, with the spiritual forces of wickedness among the celestials." ¹³ Therefore take up the panoply of God that you may be enabled to withstand in the wicked day, and having effected all, to stand." ¹⁴ Stand, then, girded about your loins with truth, with the cuirass of righteousness put on." ¹⁵ and your feet sandaled with the readiness of the evangel of peace; ¹⁶ with all taking up the large shield of faith, by which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the wicked one." ¹⁷ And receive the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is a declaration of God." ¹⁸ During every prayer and petition be praying on every occasion (in spirit being vigilant also for it with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints,

¹⁸ This charge I am committing to you, child Timothy, according to the preceding prophecies over you, that in them you may be warring the ideal warfare,

¹ Faithful is the saying: "If anyone is craving the supervision, he is desiring an ideal work."

⁶ no novice, lest, being conceited, he should be falling into the judgment of the Adversary."

³⁰ And the prince of their fathers' house for the Kohathite families was Elizaphan son of Uzziel. ³¹ And their charge was the coffer and the table and the lampstand and the altars and the furnishings of the holy place with which they shall minister and the portiere and all its service.

¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things with all the furnishings of the holy things when the camp is to journey, then afterward the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. Yet they shall not touch the holy things lest they die. These are the load of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment.

¹⁰ They will make the coffer of acacia boards, two cubits and a half its length and a cubit and a half its width and a cubit and a half its rise. ¹¹ You will overlay it; with pure gold inside and outside shall you overlay it. You will make on it a flange of gold round about. ¹² You will cast four rings of gold for it, and put them on its four footings with two rings on its one angle wall and two rings on its second angle wall. ¹³ You will make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, ¹⁴ and insert the poles in the rings on the the angle walls of the coffer to carry the coffer with them. ¹⁵ The poles shall come to be in the rings of the coffer. They shall not be withdrawn from it. ¹⁶ You will put the testimony which I shall give to you into the coffer. ¹⁷ You will make a propitiatory shelter of pure gold, two cubits and a half its length and a cubit and a half its width. ¹⁸ You will make two cherubim of gold; you shall hammer them a stiff shell of one piece with the two ends of the propitiatory shelter. ¹⁹ Make one cherub from this end and one cherub from that end. Of one piece with the propitiatory shelter you shall make the cherubim at its two ends. ²⁰ The cherubim will come to be with spreading wings above, overshadowing with their wings over the propitiatory shelter with their faces each to his fellow. Toward the propitiatory shelter the faces of the cherubim shall come to be. ²¹ Then you will put the propitiatory shelter on the coffer from above; and you shall put the testimony which I shall give to you into the coffer. ²² I will keep appointment with you there, and I will speak with you above the propitiatory shelter from between the two cherubim which are over the coffer of the testimony of all which I am instructing you for the sons of Israel.

³¹ You will make a curtain of blue, purple, double-dipped crimson and corded cambric; in the handiwork of a designer shall you make it with cherubim. ³² You will put it on four columns of acacia overlaid with gold, with their hooks of gold, on four sockets of silver;" ³³ and you will put the curtain under the links. Then you will bring there, inside the curtain, the coffer of the testimony. The curtain will separate for you between the holy place and the holy of holies;"

³ You will place there the coffer of the testimony and screen off the coffer with the curtain.

¹⁶ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Reuben are a hundred fifty-one thousand four hundred fifty, by their militia hosts. As second ones shall they journey. ¹⁷ Then the tent of appointment will journey with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the other camps. Just as they are encamping so shall they journey, each man on his own side under their standards.

²⁷ Belonging to Kohath were the Amramite family, the Izharite family, the Hebronite family and the Uzzielite family. These were those of the Kohathite families. ²⁸ According to the number of every male from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping charge of the holy place. ²⁹ The families of the sons of Kohath encamped at the flank of the tabernacle, southward. ³⁰ And the prince of their fathers' house for the Kohathite families was Elizaphan son of Uzziel. ³¹ And their charge was the coffer and the table and the lampstand and the altars and the furnishings of the holy place with which they shall minister and the portiere and all its service. ³² And the prince of the Levite princes was Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, with the supervision of those keeping charge of the holy place.

¹⁴ The standard of the camp of the sons of Judah decamped first by their militia hosts; and over his host was Nahshon son of Amminadab.

² and David rises and goes, and all the people who [are] with him, from Baale-Judah, to bring up thence the ark of Elohim, whose name has been called--the name of Yahweh of Hosts, inhabiting the cherubs--upon it. ³ And they cause the ark of Elohim to ride on a new cart, and lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, and Uzzah and Ahio sons of Abinadab are leading the new cart;" ⁴ and they lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, with the ark of Elohim, and Ahio is going before the ark, ⁵ and David and all the house of Israel are playing before Yahweh, with all kinds of [instruments] of fir-wood, even with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cornets, and with cymbals. ⁶ And they come unto the threshing-floor of Nachon, and Uzzah puts forth [his hand] unto the ark of Elohim, and lays hold on it, for they released the oxen;" ⁷ and the anger of Yahweh burns against Uzzah, and Elohim smites him there for the error, and he dies there by the ark of Elohim. ⁸ And it is displeasing to David, because that Yahweh has broken forth a breach upon Uzzah, and [one] calls that place Perez-Uzzah, unto this day;" ⁹ and David fears Yahweh on that day, and said, `How does the ark of Yahweh come in unto me?.

⁷ And He swallows up on this mountain the face wrap wrapped over all the peoples, and the blanket blanketing all the nations."

⁵¹ And lo! the curtain of the temple is rent in two from above to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks are rent,

³ Now after the second curtain is a tabernacle which is termed the holy of holies,

²⁰ by a recently slain and living way which He dedicates for us, through the curtain, that is, His flesh,

¹³ You will make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, ¹⁴ and insert the poles in the rings on the the angle walls of the coffer to carry the coffer with them. ¹⁵ The poles shall come to be in the rings of the coffer. They shall not be withdrawn from it.

¹⁹ the colored garments to minister in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to serve as priests.

¹ From the blue, the purple and the double dipped-crimson they made colored garments for ministering in the holy place. They made the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

⁴¹ the colored garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons to serve as priests.

⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it. ⁸ Then they will spread over them a cloth of double-dipped crimson, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place.

⁷ for the cherubs are spreading forth two wings unto the place of the ark, and the cherubs cover over the ark, and over its staves from above;" ⁸ and they lengthen the staves, and the heads of the staves are seen from the holy [place] on the front of the oracle, and are not seen without, and they are there unto this day.

²³ You will make a table of acacia boards, two cubits its length and a cubit its width and a cubit and a half its rise. ²⁴ You will overlay it with pure gold and make for it a flange of gold round about. ²⁵ You will make for it a border of a handbreadth round about and make a flange of gold for its border round about. ²⁶ You will make for it four rings of gold and put the rings on the four edges which are for its four feet. ²⁷ The rings shall come to correspond with the border for housings for the poles, to carry the table. ²⁸ You will make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, and the table will be carried by them. ²⁹ You will make its dishes and its spoons and its chalices and its waste pans with which libations are made; of pure gold shall you make them. ³⁰ Then you will put the bread of the presence on the table before Me regularly.

¹⁰ Then he made the table of acacia boards, two cubits its length and a cubit its width and a cubit and a half its rise. ¹¹ He overlaid it with pure gold and made for it a flange of gold round about. ¹² He also made for it a border of a handbreadth round about and made a flange of gold for its border round about. ¹³ Then he cast for it four rings of gold and put the rings on the four edges which were for its four feet. ¹⁴ The rings came to correspond with the border, housings for the poles to carry the table. ¹⁵ He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold to carry the table. ¹⁶ He also made the furnishings which were on the table, its dishes, its spoons, its waste pans and the chalices with which libations were made, of pure gold.

Two tenths of an ephah shall there be for one perforated cake. ⁶ And you will place them in two arrays, six to the array, on the pure table before Yahweh. ⁷ You will put along each array clear frankincense, and it will be used instead of the bread as a memorial portion, a fire offering to Yahweh. ⁸ Sabbath day by sabbath day shall he arrange it before Yahweh regularly on behalf of the sons of Israel, an eonian covenant.

⁶ They will put on it a cover of azure hide and spread over it a cloth wholly of blue from above and put its poles in place. ⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it.

⁹ They will take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the luminary, its lamps and its snuffers, its fire-pans and all its oil vessels with which they minister to it.

³¹ You will make the lampstand of pure gold; of a stiff shell shall you make the lampstand, its stem and its tube; its cones, its spheres and its buds shall come out from it. ³² Six tubes shall come forth from its sides, three tubes of the lampstand from its one side and three tubes of the lampstand from its second side. ³³ Three almond shaped cones shall be on the one tube, a sphere and a bud, and three almond shaped cones on the other tube, a sphere and a bud: thus for the six tubes coming forth from the lampstand;" ³⁴ on the lampstand itself four almond shaped cones, its spheres and its buds;" ³⁵ and a sphere under two of the tubes from it, and a sphere under two of the tubes from it, and a sphere under two of the tubes from it, so for the six tubes coming forth from the lampstand. ³⁶ Their spheres and their tubes shall be of one piece with it, all of it of one stiff shell of pure gold. ³⁷ You will make its seven lamps, and one will set up its lamps, so that it gives light over across its face. ³⁸ Its snuffers and its fire-pans shall be of pure gold; ³⁹ of a talent of pure gold shall you make it with all these furnishings.

¹⁰⁵ Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my tracks."

²⁰ the secret of the seven stars which you perceived in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are messengers of the seven ecclesias, and the seven lampstands are seven ecclesias."

⁶ They will put on it a cover of azure hide and spread over it a cloth wholly of blue from above and put its poles in place.

¹² They will take all the furnishings of the ministry with which they minister in the holy place and wrap them in a blue cloth and cover them with a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar.

¹ You will make the altar for fuming incense; of acacia boards shall you make it. ² A cubit shall be its length and a cubit its width. Square it shall be, and two cubits its rise. Its horns are one piece with it. ³ You will overlay it with pure gold, its top around its sidewalls and its horns; and you will make for it a flange of gold round about. ⁴ Two rings of gold shall you make for it. Beneath its flange, on its two angle walls shall you make them, on its two sides. And they shall be for housings for the poles, to carry it with them. ⁵ You will make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold; ⁶ and you will put it before the curtain which shall be by the coffer of the testimony, before the propitiatory shelter which shall be on the testimony where I shall keep appointment with you. ⁷ Aaron will cause incense of spices to fume on it morning by morning; when making good the lamps shall he cause it to fume; ⁸ and when Aaron sets up the lamps between the evening hours, he shall cause it to fume as incense regularly before Yahweh throughout your generations. ⁹ You shall not set up on it an alien incense or an ascent offering or an approach present, and a libation you shall not libate on it. ¹⁰ Aaron will make a propitiatory shelter on its horns once in the year with the blood of the sin offering of the propitiatory shelter; once in the year shall he make a propitiatory shelter on it throughout your generations. It shall be a holy of holies to Yahweh. ¹¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses saying: ¹² When you take up the sum of the sons of Israel by their mustered ones then each man will give a sheltering ransom for his soul to Yahweh while one is mustering them, so that no stroke may come among them when mustering them. ¹³ This shall they give, everyone passing over to the ones being mustered: a half shekel by the shekel of the holy place, which is twenty gerahs to the shekel; the half shekel shall be a heave offering to Yahweh. ¹⁴ Everyone passing over to the ones being mustered from twenty years old and upward shall give Yahweh's heave offering. ¹⁵ The rich shall not increase it, and the poor shall not decrease it from half a shekel, to give as Yahweh's heave offering to shelter your souls. ¹⁶ You will take the sheltering ransom silver from the sons of Israel and give it to the service of the tent of appointment that it become for the sons of Israel a memorial before Yahweh to shelter your souls. ¹⁷ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ¹⁸ You will make a laver of copper and its post of copper, for washing, and put it between the tent of appointment and the altar, and put water therein, ¹⁹ that Aaron and his sons will wash their hands and their feet from it.

²⁵ Then he made the incense altar of acacia boards, a cubit its length and a cubit its width. It was square, and its rise was two cubits. Its horns were of one piece with it. ²⁶ He overlaid it with pure gold, its top and around its sidewalls and its horns, and made for it a flange of gold round about. ²⁷ Two rings of gold he made for it beneath its flange on its two angle walls on its two sides for housings for the poles, to carry it with them. ²⁸ He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.

³⁸ the golden altar, the anointing oil, the incense of spices and the portiere for the portal of the tent,

⁵ Then you will put the golden altar for incense before the coffer of the testimony and place the portiere of the portal to the tabernacle.

²⁶ He placed the golden altar in the tent of appointment before the curtain ²⁷ and caused incense of spices to fume on it just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

⁹ According to all that I am showing you, the model of the tabernacle and the model of all its furnishings, thus shall you make it.

¹⁰ also the colored garments and the holy garments for Aaron, the priest, and the garments of his sons to serve as priests;"

⁸ They will keep all the furnishings of the tent of appointment and the charge for the sons of Israel to serve in the service of the tabernacle.

⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it.

¹⁴ And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they minister they have taken, ¹⁵ and the fire-pans, and the bowls that [are] wholly of silver, has the chief of the executioners taken.

²⁹ And [some] of them are appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.

¹¹ And Huram makes the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finishes to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of Elohim;"

¹⁶ and the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, has Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Yahweh, of brass purified.

¹⁹ And Solomon makes all the vessels that [are for] the house of Elohim, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them [is] bread of the presence;"

²² and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

¹ You will make the altar of acacia boards, five cubits the length and five cubits the width. The altar shall come to be square, and its rise shall be three cubits. ² You will make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it; and you will overlay it with copper. ³ You will make its pots for its greasy ash, and its shovels, its sprinkling bowls, its flesh-hooks, and its fire-pans; all its furnishings shall you make of copper. ⁴ You will make it for a grate, a handiwork of copper net, and make on the net four rings of copper on its four ends. ⁵ You will put it beneath the encompassment of the altar from below so that the net comes as far as halfway up the altar. ⁶ You will make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with copper. ⁷ Then you will insert its poles in the rings, and the poles will come to be on the two angle walls of the altar when carrying it. ⁸ Hollow, of planks, shall you make it; just as one shows you on the mount, so shall they do.

¹² Yet the fire on the altar shall be kept glowing on it; it shall not be quenched. The priest will make wood consume on it morning by morning and arrange the ascent offering on it and cause the fat portions of the peace offerings to fume on it. ¹³ The fire shall be kept glowing continually on the altar; it shall not be quenched.

⁶ They will put on it a cover of azure hide and spread over it a cloth wholly of blue from above and put its poles in place. ⁷ And over the table of the presence they shall spread a blue cloth, and they will put on it the dishes and the spoons, the waste pans and the libation chalices. Also the continual bread shall be on it. ⁸ Then they will spread over them a cloth of double-dipped crimson, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ⁹ They will take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the luminary, its lamps and its snuffers, its fire-pans and all its oil vessels with which they minister to it.

¹¹ Also on the golden altar shall they spread a blue cloth, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ¹² They will take all the furnishings of the ministry with which they minister in the holy place and wrap them in a blue cloth and cover them with a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar.

¹ Then he made the altar of ascent offering of acacia boards, five cubits its length and five cubits its width. It was square, and its rise was three cubits. ² He made its horns on its four corners; its horns were of one piece with it. And he overlaid it with copper. ³ He also made all the furnishings of the altar, the pots and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls, the flesh-hooks and the fire-pans; all its furnishings he made of copper. ⁴ He made for the altar a grate, a handiwork of a copper net, beneath its encompassment from below unto its middle. ⁵ And he cast four rings on the four ends of the copper grate as housings for the poles. ⁶ He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with copper. ⁷ And he inserted the poles in the rings on the angle walls of the altar to carry it with them. Hollow, of planks he made it.

¹² Also you shall set a boundary for the people round about, saying: Guard yourselves concerning ascent into the mountain or touching its outmost part. Everyone touching the mountain shall be put to death, yea death.

⁵¹ When the tabernacle is to journey the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to encamp the Levites shall set it up. But any alien who comes near shall be put to death.

³⁸ Those encamping before the tabernacle eastward, before the tent of appointment, toward the sunrise, were Moses and Aaron and his sons, the ones keeping charge of the sanctuary as the charge of the sons of Israel. But any alien who comes near shall be put to death.

⁹ Yet to the sons of Kohath he gave none, for the carrier service of the holy of holies was on them; on their shoulders they carried it.

²¹ Then the Kohathites decamped, the carriers of the holy things. (The others would set up the tabernacle previous to their coming..

⁹ Then Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, the carriers of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh, and to all the elders of Israel.

¹⁰ And the priests bearing the ark are standing in the midst of the Jordan till the completion of the whole thing which Yahweh commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua, and the people haste and pass over.

¹⁹ And He smites among the men of Beth-Shemesh, for they looked into the ark of Yahweh, yea, He smites among the people seventy men--fifty chief men; and the people mourn, because Yahweh smote among the people--a great smiting.

⁶ And they come unto the threshing-floor of Nachon, and Uzzah puts forth [his hand] unto the ark of Elohim, and lays hold on it, for they released the oxen;" ⁷ and the anger of Yahweh burns against Uzzah, and Elohim smites him there for the error, and he dies there by the ark of Elohim.

¹³ And it comes to pass, when those bearing the ark of Yahweh have stepped six steps, that he sacrifices an ox and a fatling.

⁹ And they come in unto the threshing-floor of Chidon, and Uzza puts forth his hand to seize the ark, for the oxen were released, ¹⁰ and the anger of Yahweh is kindled against Uzza, and He smites him, because that he has put forth his hand on the ark, and he dies there before Elohim.

² Then said David, `None [are] to carry the ark of Elohim, except the Levites, for on them has Yahweh fixed to carry the ark of Elohim, and to serve Him--unto the eon..

¹⁵ and sons of the Levites bear the ark of Elohim, as Moses commanded, according to the word of Yahweh, on their shoulder, with staves, above them.

¹⁸ For you have not come to that which may be handled and burned with fire, and to murkiness, and gloom, and tornado, and the blare of a trumpet, ¹⁹ and the sound of declarations, which those who hear refuse, that no word be added to them." ²⁰ For they did not carry out the assignment: And if a wild beast should come in contact with the mountain, it shall be pelted with stones." ²¹ And so fearful was the spectacle, Moses said, Terrified am I, and in a tremor." ²² But you have come to mount Zion, and the city of the living God, celestial Jerusalem, and to ten thousand messengers, ²³ to a universal convocation, and to the ecclesia of the firstborn, registered in the heavens, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the just perfected, ²⁴ and to Jesus, the Mediator of a fresh covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which is speaking better than Abel." ²⁵ Beware! You should not be refusing Him Who is speaking! For if those escaped not, refusing the One apprizing on earth, much rather we, who are turning from the One from the heavens, ²⁶ Whose voice then shakes the earth. Yet now He has promised, saying, Still once more shall I be quaking, not only the earth, but heaven also." ²⁷ Now the "Still once moreis making evident the transference of that which is being shaken, as of that having been made, that what is not being shaken would be remaining." ²⁸ Wherefore, accepting an unshakable kingdom, we may have grace through which we may be offering divine service in a way well pleasing to God, with piety and dread, ²⁹ for our God is also a consuming fire.

⁶ oil for the luminary, aromatics for the anointing oil and for the incense of spices;"

²⁰ As for you, you shall instruct the sons of Israel that they shall take to you pure olive oil, pounded, for the luminary, to kindle the lamp regularly. ²¹ In the tent of appointment, outside of the curtain which shall be over the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange it from evening until morning before Yahweh. It shall be an eonian statute throughout their generations, for the sons of Israel.

³⁹ The one he-lamb shall you offer in the morning, and the second he-lamb shall you offer between the evening hours, ⁴⁰ also a tenth of an ephah of flour mingled with a quarter of a hin of pounded oil, and a libation of a quarter of a hin of wine for the one lamb. ⁴¹ And the second lamb you shall offer between the evening hours; as the morning approach present and as its libation shall you offer it, for a fragrant odor, a fire offering to Yahweh,

²³ As for you, take to yourself the principal aromatics, of free flowing myrrh five hundred shekels worth and of aromatic cinnamon half of it, two hundred fifty, and of aromatic reed two hundred fifty, ²⁴ and of cassia five hundred by the shekel of the holy place, and of olive oil a hin;" ²⁵ and you will make of it a holy anointing oil, a compounded ointment, the handiwork of a compounder. A holy anointing oil shall it be. ²⁶ With it you will anoint the tent of appointment and the coffer of the testimony, ²⁷ the table and all its furnishings, the lampstand and its furnishings and the altar of incense, ²⁸ the altar of ascent offering and all its furnishings, the laver and its post. ²⁹ You will hallow them so that they become a holy of holies. All that touches them shall be holy. ³⁰ Aaron and his sons shall you anoint and hallow them to serve as priests for Me. ³¹ And to the sons of Israel shall you speak, saying: A holy anointing oil shall this become to Me throughout your generations. ³² On human flesh of others it shall not be rubbed, and by its recipe you shall not make such as it. It is holy; holy shall it become to you. ³³ The man who compounds such as it, and who gives any of it to an alien, he will be cut off from his people. ³⁴ Yahweh said to Moses: Take to yourself spices: stacte, murex shell and galbanum, spices with pure frankincense. Component by component shall it be;" ³⁵ and you will make of it an incense, a compound of the handiwork of a compounder, salted clean, holy. ³⁶ Then you will reduce to powder some of it, pulverized, and put it before the testimony in the tent of appointment where I shall keep appointment with you. A holy of holies shall it become to you. ³⁷ Yet the incense which you shall make by its recipe you shall not make for yourselves. Holy shall it be to you for Yahweh. ³⁸ The man who makes such as it to smell of it, he will be cut off from his people.

¹¹ then the anointing oil and the incense of spices for the holy place; according to all that I have instructed you shall they do.

²⁹ He also made the holy anointing oil and the incense of pure spices, the handiwork of a compounder.

²⁰ This is the approach present of Aaron and his sons which they shall bring near to Yahweh on the day of his anointing:A tenth of an ephah of flour as an approach present continually, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

² Instruct the sons of Israel that they should take to you clear olive oil, pounded, for the luminary, to kindle the lamp regularly.

³² And the prince of the Levite princes was Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, with the supervision of those keeping charge of the holy place.

¹⁸ The spirit of the Lord is on Me, On account of which He anoints Me to bring the evangel to the poor. He has commissioned Me to heal the crushed heart, To herald to captives a pardon, And to the blind the receiving of sight; To dispatch the oppressed with a pardon."

²⁸ Take heed to yourselves and to the entire flocklet, among which the holy spirit appointed you supervisors, to be shepherding the ecclesia of God, which He procures through the blood of His Own."

¹ Thus let a man be reckoning with us - as deputies of Christ, and administrators of God's secrets."

⁵ For there is one God, and one Mediator of God and mankind, a Man, Christ Jesus,

¹ Whence, holy brethren, partners of a celestial calling, consider the Apostle and Chief Priest of our avowal, Jesus,

⁶ Yet Christ, as a Son over His house-Whose house we are, that is, if we should be retaining the boldness and the glorying of the expectation confirmed unto the consummation."

²⁵ For you were as straying sheep, but now you turned back to the Shepherd and Supervisor of your souls."

² Shepherd the flocklet of God among you, supervising, not of compulsion, but voluntarily, according to God; nor yet avariciously, but eagerly;"

²¹ Yahweh said to Moses: Descend! Testify to the people lest they demolish the boundaries to Yahweh in order to see, and many of them fall.

¹ The sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, each took his fire-pan, put fire in them, placed incense on it and came near before Yahweh with alien fire such as He had not instructed them. ² Hence fire came forth from before Yahweh and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.

³² and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the humans who were with Korah and all the goods.

¹⁰ Then Yahweh said to Moses:Restore the rod of Aaron before the testimony for safekeeping as a sign for the sons of rebellion so that you may end their grumblings against Me so that they may not die.

⁵ You will keep guard of the holy place and guard of the altar so that no more wrath shall come on the sons of Israel.

²³ `And all your wives, and your sons, are brought forth unto the Chaldeans, and you do not escape from their hand, for by the hand of the king of Babylon you are caught, and this city is burnt with fire.'"

² Hence fire came forth from before Yahweh and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.

¹⁹ Having then, brethren, boldness for the entrance of the holy places by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by a recently slain and living way which He dedicates for us, through the curtain, that is, His flesh,

¹⁹ And opened was the temple of God in heaven, and seen was the ark of God's covenant in His temple, and lightnings and voices and thunders and an earthquake and a great hail occurred."

¹⁸ These were the names of the sons of Gershon by their families:Libni and Shimei;

²¹ Belonging to Gershon were the Libnite family and the Shimeite family. These two were those of the Gershonite families.

²⁴ And the prince of their fathers' house for the Gershonite was Eliasaph son of Lael.

³ from thirty years old and upward, unto fifty years old, all those coming to the Levitical host, to do the work in the tent of appointment.

³ and the Levites are numbered from a son of thirty years and upward, and their number, by their polls, is of mighty men thirty and eight thousand.

²⁴ These [are] sons of Levi, by the house of their fathers, heads of the fathers, by their appointments, in the number of names, by their polls, doing the work for the service of the house of Yahweh, from a son of twenty years and upward,

²⁷ for by the last words of David they [took] the number of the sons of Levi from a son of twenty years and upward,

¹ Who is This, coming from humanity, with fermented garments from the vintage? This One, in His clothing of honor, marching in the vastness of His vigor?I, speaking in righteousness, and contending to save!" ² For what reason is there red on Your clothing, and Your garments are as the treader's in a wine trough? ³ The winepress I trod alone, and of the peoples there is no man `with Me, and I am treading them in My anger, and trampling them in My fury, and their gore is spattering on My garments, and all My clothing I sully." ⁴ For the day of vengeance came for them, and the year of My redeemed has come."

¹⁴ For we are aware that the law is spiritual, yet I am fleshly, having been disposed of under Sin." ¹⁵ For what I am effecting I know not, for not what I will, this I am putting into practice, but what I am hating, this I am doing." ¹⁶ Now if what I am not willing, this I am doing, I am conceding that the law is ideal." ¹⁷ Yet now it is no longer I who am effecting it, but Sin making its home in me." ¹⁸ For I am aware that good is not making its home in me (that is, in my flesh), for to will is lying beside me, yet to be effecting the ideal is not." ¹⁹ For it is not the good that I will that I am doing, but the evil that I am not willing, this I am putting into practice." ²⁰ Now if what I am not willing, this I am doing, it is no longer I who am effecting it, but Sin which is making its home in me." ²¹ Consequently, I am finding the law that, at my willing to be doing the ideal, the evil is lying beside me." ²² For I am gratified with the law of God as to the man within, ²³ yet I am observing a different law in my members, warring with the law of my mind, and leading me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members." ²⁴ A wretched man am I! What will rescue me out of this body of death? Grace!

⁷ Who is warring at any time supplying his own rations? Who is planting a vineyard and not eating of its fruit? Or who is tending a flock and not eating of the milk of the flock?

⁷ in the word of truth, in the power of God, through the implements of righteousness of the right hand and of the left,

³ For, walking in flesh, we are not warring according to the flesh. " ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God toward the pulling down of bulwarks; " ⁵ pulling down reckonings and every height elevating itself against the knowledge of God, and leading into captivity every apprehension into the obedience of Christ, "

¹⁷ For the flesh is lusting against the spirit, yet the spirit against the flesh. Now these are opposing one another, lest you should be doing whatever you may want."

²⁴ Now those of Christ Jesus crucify the flesh together with its passions, and lusts."

¹⁰ For the rest, brethren mine, be invigorated in the Lord and in the might of His strength." ¹¹ Put on the panoply of God, to enable you to stand up to the stratagems of the Adversary, ¹² for it is not ours to wrestle with blood and flesh, but with the sovereignties, with the authorities, with the world-mights of this darkness, with the spiritual forces of wickedness among the celestials." ¹³ Therefore take up the panoply of God that you may be enabled to withstand in the wicked day, and having effected all, to stand." ¹⁴ Stand, then, girded about your loins with truth, with the cuirass of righteousness put on." ¹⁵ and your feet sandaled with the readiness of the evangel of peace; ¹⁶ with all taking up the large shield of faith, by which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the wicked one." ¹⁷ And receive the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is a declaration of God." ¹⁸ During every prayer and petition be praying on every occasion (in spirit being vigilant also for it with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints, ¹⁹ and for me), that to me expression may be granted, in the opening of my mouth with boldness, to make known the secret of the evangel,

³ Suffer evil with me, as an ideal soldier of Christ Jesus." ⁴ No one who is warring is involved in the business of a livelihood, that he should be pleasing the one who enlists him."

⁷ I have contended the ideal contest. I have finished my career. I have kept the faith.

²⁷ At the bidding of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonite, for all their load and for all their service. And you will commit to them as a charge all of their load.

³¹ This is the charge of their load for all their service in the tent of appointment:the hollow tapers of the tabernacle with its bars, its columns and its sockets, ³² the columns around the court with their sockets, their pegs and their cords with all their furnishings and with all their servicing. By names shall you check all the furnishings of the charge of their load.

⁴⁷ from thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old, everyone coming to serve on the servicing service and the carrying service in the tent of appointment,

⁴⁹ At the bidding of Yahweh one mustered them, by means of Moses, each man for his service and for his load; thus they were being mustered by him just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

¹⁴ Then you will make a cover for the tent of reddened rams' hides, and a cover of azure hides above.

²⁵ The charge of the sons of Gershon at the tent of appointment was the tabernacle and the tent, its covering and the portiere of the opening of the tent of appointment, ²⁶ the slung sheets of the court and the portiere of the portal of the court which was surrounding the tabernacle and the altar, also its cords for all its service.

⁵ Take them from them so that they will come to serve for the service of the tent of appointment, and give them to the Levites, to each man corresponding to his service. ⁶ So Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. ⁷ Two of the carts and four of the oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon corresponding to their service,

⁹ You will make the court of the tabernacle: for the edge of the Negev southward the slung-sheets for the court shall be of corded cambric, a hundred cubits length for the one edge,

¹⁸ the pegs of the tabernacle, the pegs of the court and their cords;"

⁷⁰ According as He speaks through the mouth of His holy prophets, who are from the eon; "

² Now I am applauding you that you remember all of mine, and are retaining the traditions according as I give them over to you."

³³ This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari for all their service in the tent of appointment in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

⁵ and there are apportionments of services, and the same Lord, ⁶ and there are apportionments of operations, yet the same God Who is operating all in all."

³³ Belonging to Merari were the Mahlite family and the Mushite family. These two were those of the Merari families. ³⁴ Their mustered ones according to the number of every male from a month old and upward were six thousand two hundred. ³⁵ And the prince of their fathers' house for the families of Merari was Zuriel son of Abihail. At the flank of the tabernacle they encamped, northward.

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ The averring of Yahweh to my Lord:Sit at My right Until I should set Your enemies as a stool for Your feet. ² The rod of Your strength shall Yahweh send from Zion; Sway among Your enemies. ³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your potent power; In holy effulgence from the womb of the dawn, You will have the dew of Your childhood." ⁴ Yahweh has sworn, and He shall not regret:You are a priest for the eon According to the order of Melchizedek." ⁵ Yahweh is at Your right; He will transfix kings in the day of His anger. ⁶ He shall adjudicate among the nations; He will fill them with dead bodies; He will transfix heads over the vast earth. ⁷ He shall drink from the watercourse along the way; Therefore He shall hold His head high.

¹¹ Now you, O man of God, flee from these things: yet pursue righteousness, devoutness, faith, love, with endurance, suffering, and meekness." ¹² Contend the ideal contest of the faith. Get hold of eonian life, for which you were called, and you avow the ideal avowal in the sight of many witnesses."

⁴ No one who is warring is involved in the business of a livelihood, that he should be pleasing the one who enlists him."

⁷ I have contended the ideal contest. I have finished my career. I have kept the faith. ⁸ Furthermore, there is reserved for me the wreath of righteousness, which the Lord, the just Judge, will be paying to me in that day; yet not to me only, but also to all who love His advent."

¹⁵ You will make the hollow tapers for the tabernacle of standing acacia boards;

³⁶ And the supervision, the charge of the sons of Merari, was the hollow tapers of the tabernacle and its bars, its columns and its sockets, all its furnishings and all its service, ³⁷ also the columns of the court round about and their sockets, their pegs and their cords.

⁸ and four of the carts and eight of the oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, corresponding to their service, by means of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. ⁹ Yet to the sons of Kohath he gave none, for the carrier service of the holy of holies was on them; on their shoulders they carried it.

¹⁷ The sockets for the columns were of copper, the hooks of the columns and their connections of silver; and the overlay of their heads with silver. And they, all the columns of the court, were connected with silver.

²¹ These are the notations as to the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which were noted down at the bidding of Moses, a service of the Levites under the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

¹ It came to be on the day Moses finished setting up the tabernacle that he anointed it and hallowed it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its furnishings. When he had anointed them and hallowed them,

²⁸ This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonite in the tent of appointment. And their charge is in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

⁶ And Joshua speaks unto the priests, saying, `Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people;' and they take up the ark of the covenant, and go before the people.

⁶ For a man is grasping his brother, of the household of his father, saying, "Raiment have you! Our captain shall you become! And this food shall be under your hands."

²⁶ and also of the Levites, `None [are] to bear the tabernacle and all its vessels for its service;. ²⁷ for by the last words of David they [took] the number of the sons of Levi from a son of twenty years and upward,

¹³ and for the courses of the priests and of the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all vessels of service of the house of Yahweh,

³⁴ Their mustered ones according to the number of every male from a month old and upward were six thousand two hundred.

²⁵ Iron and copper be your door-bolts, and as your days so shall be your leisure.

¹³ No trial has taken you except what is human. Now, faithful is God, Who will not be leaving you to be tried above what you are able, but, together with the trial, will be making the sequel also, to enable you to undergo it."

⁸ For to one, indeed, through the spirit, is being given the word of wisdom, yet to another the word of knowledge, according to the same spirit" ⁹ yet to another faith, by the same spirit, yet to another the graces of healing, by the one spirit, ¹⁰ yet to another operations of powerful deeds, yet to another prophecy, yet to another discrimination of spirits, yet to another species of languages, yet to another translation of languages." ¹¹ Now all these one and the same spirit is operating, apportioning to each his own, according as He is intending." ¹² For even as the body is one and has many members, yet all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, thus also is the Christ."

⁹ And He has protested to me, "Sufficient for you is My grace, for My power in infirmity is being perfected.With the greatest relish, then, will I rather be glorying in my infirmities, that the power of Christ should be tabernacling over me. " ¹⁰ Wherefore I delight in infirmities, in outrages, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake, for, whenever I may be weak, then I am powerful. "

²⁹ As for the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' house you shall muster them.

²³ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to enlist with the Levitical host to serve in the service in the tent of appointment. ²⁴ This is the service of the Gershonite families, to serve and to carry loads.

³⁷ These were the ones being mustered of the Kohathite families, everyone serving in the tent of appointment whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses.

⁶ Now, having graces excelling, in accord with the grace which is given to us, whether prophecy, exercise it in accord with the analogy of the faith;" ⁷ or dispensing, in the dispensation; or the teacher, in teaching;" ⁸ or the entreater, in entreaty; the sharer, with generosity; the presider, with diligence; the merciful one, with glee."

⁴ Now there are apportionments of graces, yet the same spirit, ⁵ and there are apportionments of services, and the same Lord, ⁶ and there are apportionments of operations, yet the same God Who is operating all in all." ⁷ Now to each one is being given the manifestation of the spirit, with a view to expedience." ⁸ For to one, indeed, through the spirit, is being given the word of wisdom, yet to another the word of knowledge, according to the same spirit" ⁹ yet to another faith, by the same spirit, yet to another the graces of healing, by the one spirit, ¹⁰ yet to another operations of powerful deeds, yet to another prophecy, yet to another discrimination of spirits, yet to another species of languages, yet to another translation of languages." ¹¹ Now all these one and the same spirit is operating, apportioning to each his own, according as He is intending." ¹² For even as the body is one and has many members, yet all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, thus also is the Christ." ¹³ For in one spirit also we all are baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and all are made to imbibe one spirit." ¹⁴ For the body also is not one member, but many." ¹⁵ If the foot should be saying, "Seeing that I am not a hand, I am not of the body,not for this is it not the body." ¹⁶ And if the ear should be saying, "Seeing that I am not an eye, I am not of the bodynot for this is it not of the body." ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where the scent? ¹⁸ Yet now God placed the members, each one of them, in the body according as He wills. " ¹⁹ Now if it were all one member, where were the body? ²⁰ Yet now there are, indeed, many members, yet one body." ²¹ Yet the eye can not say to the hand, "I have no need of you,or, again, the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." ²² Nay, much rather, those members of the body supposed to be inherently weaker are necessary, ²³ and which we suppose to be a more dishonored part of the body, these we are investing with more exceeding honor, and our indecent members have more exceeding respectability." ²⁴ Now our respectable members have no need, but God blends the body together, giving to that which is deficient more exceeding honor, ²⁵ that there may be no schism in the body, but the members may be solicitous for one another." ²⁶ And whether one member is suffering, all the members are sympathizing, or one member is being esteemed, all the members are rejoicing with it." ²⁷ Now you are the body of Christ, and members of a part, ²⁸ whom also God, indeed, placed in the ecclesia, first, apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers, thereupon powers, thereupon graces of healing, supports, pilotage, species of languages." ²⁹ Not all are apostles. Not all are prophets. Not all are teachers. Not all have powers. ³⁰ Not all have the graces of healing. Not all are speaking languages. Not all are interpreting. ³¹ Yet be zealous for the greater graces. And still I am showing you a path, suited to transcendence."

³⁹ All the ones being mustered of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh by their families, every male from a month old and upward were twenty-two thousand.

¹⁴ Yet what a cramped gate and narrowed way is the one leading away into life, and few are those who are finding it."

¹⁶ Thus shall the last be first, and the first last."

¹⁵ Then, being gone, the Pharisees held a consultation, so that they should be trapping Him by a word."

⁴⁷ Yet the Levites, for the stock of their fathers, did not present themselves to be mustered in their midst;"

⁵⁴ Thus the sons of Israel did according to all that Yahweh had instructed Moses; so they did.

³³ Yet the Levites did not present themselves to be mustered in the midst of the sons of Israel, just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

⁵¹ And Moses gave the silver of the ransoms to Aaron and to his sons at the bidding of Yahweh, just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

²¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying.

³¹ This is the charge of their load for all their service in the tent of appointment:the hollow tapers of the tabernacle with its bars, its columns and its sockets,

⁴¹ These were the ones being mustered of the families of the sons of Gershon, everyone serving in the tent of appointment, whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh, by means of Moses.

⁴⁵ These were the ones being mustered of the families of the sons of Merari whom Moses and Aaron mustered at the bidding of Yahweh by means of Moses.

² And the spirit of Yahweh shall rest on Him:A spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of counsel and mastery, a spirit of knowledge and the fear of Yahweh." ³ And His scent is in the fear of Yahweh. And not by the sight of His eyes will He judge, and not by the hearing of His ears will He correct." ⁴ Yet He will judge with righteousness the poor, and correct with equity for the humble of the land. And He will smite the earth with the club of His mouth, and with the spirit of His lips will He put to death the wicked."

¹ Behold My Servant! I am upholding Him. My Chosen! Accepted by My soul! I bestow My spirit upon Him, and He shall bring forth judgment to the nations." ² He shall not cry, nor make a tumult, nor cause His voice to be heard outside." ³ A bruised reed He will not break, and dimmed flax He will not quench, for truth will He bring forth judgment." ⁴ And He will not dim nor bruise till He shall place judgment in the earth. And the coastlanders will wait for His law." ⁵ Thus says the El, Yahweh Elohim, Creator of the heavens, Who stretched them out, Who stamped the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people upon it, and spirit to those going in it:" ⁶ I, Yahweh Elohim, call you in righteousness, and I will hold fast to your hand and preserve you, and I will give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Nations, ⁷ to unclose the eyes that are blind, to bring forth the prisoner from his enclosure, and those dwelling in darkness from the house of detention."

¹ Hearken, you coastlanders, to me! And attend, you folkstems, from afar! Yahweh, from the belly, called me; from the bowels of my mother He mentioned my name." ² And He is constituting my mouth as a sharp sword. In the shadow of His hand He hides me. And He is constituting me a choice arrow. In His quiver He conceals me. ³ And He is saying to me, "My servant are you, Israel, in whom I am beautifying Myself." ⁴ And I, I say, "For naught do I labor; for chaos and for vanity I exhaust my vigor. Surely, my judgment is with Yahweh. And my wage is with my Elohim." ⁵ And now, thus says Yahweh, Who formed me from the belly, for His servant, to restore Jacob to Him, when Israel is being gathered to Him. Yet I shall be glorified in the eyes of Yahweh, and my Elohim becomes my help." ⁶ And he is saying to me, "A slight thing is it for you to become My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and the dispersed of Israel to restore. Behold! I give you also for a light of the nations, to become My salvation unto the ends of the earth." ⁷ Thus says my Lord Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Elohim of Israel, his Holy One, to the despised of His soul, to the abhorred of the nation, to the servant of rulers, "Kings shall see him, and they rise, and chiefs shall also worship him, on account of Yahweh, Who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose you." ⁸ Thus says Yahweh, "In a season acceptable I answer you. And in a day of salvation I help you. And I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to set up the land, to allot the desolated allotments,

⁴ For even as, in one body, we have many members, yet all the members have not the same function, ⁵ thus we, who are many, are one body in Christ, yet individually members of one another."
