¹ Naomi had a near relative of her husband, a man who was a master of valor, of the family of Elimelech, and his name was Boaz. ² Then Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and let me glean among the ears of grain behind someone in whose eyes I may find favor. She replied to her, Go, my daughter. ³ So she went and came to glean in a field behind the reapers. And her chance happened that the portion of the field was allotted to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. ⁴ And behold, Boaz was coming from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, Yahweh be with you! They replied to him, Yahweh bless you!" ⁵ Then Boaz said to his lad who was stationed over the reapers, Whose maiden is that? ⁶ The lad who was stationed over the reapers answered and said, She is the Moabite maiden who returned with Naomi from the field of Moab. ⁷ She pleaded, Please let me glean, and I will gather among the sheaves behind the reapers. She came early and has stayed since the morning until now; She did not even pause in the field a little while. ⁸ Boaz said to Ruth, Behold, hearken, my daughter. You must not go to glean in another field; also do not cross over from this one. And thus shall you follow hard behind my maidens. ⁹ Let your eyes be on the field which they are reaping; and you must go behind them. Behold, I have instructed the lads not to touch you at all. When you are thirsty, then you may go to the vessels and drink from what the lads shall bail. ¹⁰ Now she fell on her face, bowed herself down to the earth and said to him, For what reason have I found favor in your eyes to recognize me, since I am a foreigner? ¹¹ Boaz answered and said to her, It was told, yea told to me, all that you have done for your husband's mother since the death of your husband, how you forsook your father and your mother and the country of your birth and went to a people you had not known heretofore. ¹² May Yahweh repay your deeds. May your reward be equitable from Yahweh the Elohim of Israel, under Whose wings you have come to take refuge. ¹³ She replied, May I always find favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me, and you have spoken to the heart of your maidservant. As for me, I am not even like one of your maidservants. ¹⁴ At eating time Boaz said to her, Come close hither and eat from the bread; dip your morsel in the vinegar. So Ruth sat down by the side of the reapers, and Boaz held out toasted grain to her. She ate and was satisfied and had some left over. ¹⁵ When she arose to glean, Boaz instructed his lads, saying, Even between the sheaves let her glean, and you shall not mortify her. ¹⁶ Moreover, you shall pull out, yea pull out for her some stalks from the swaths and leave them for her to glean, and do not rebuke her. ¹⁷ She gleaned in the field until evening. When she beat out what she had gleaned, it was about an ephah of barley. ¹⁸ She took it up and came back into the city, and her husband's mother saw what she had gleaned. Then Ruth brought forth and gave her what she had left over from her satisfying meal. ¹⁹ Now her husband's mother asked her, Where then did you glean today? Where have you worked? Blessed be he who was recognizing you. So she told her husband's mother with whom she had worked, saying, The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz. ²⁰ Naomi replied to her daughter-in-law, Blessed be he by Yahweh, Who has not forsaken His benignity toward the living and the dead. And Naomi explained to her, This man is a near relative of ours; he is one of our kinsmen redeemers. ²¹ Then Ruth the Moabite said to her husband's mother, He even told me, You shall follow hard behind the young workers who are mine until they have finished all the harvest that I have. ²² Naomi replied to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, It is best, my daughter, that you go forth with his maidens, so that the lads in another field may not touch on you. ²³ So she followed hard behind the maidens of Boaz, and gleaned until the barley harvest and the wheat harvest were finished. And she dwelt with her husband's mother.

¹⁷ Guard yourself lest you say in your heart:My vigor and the staunchness of my hand make for me this great estate. ¹⁸ Yet you will remember Yahweh your Elohim, for He is the One giving to you the vigor to make this estate, that He may confirm His covenant that He had sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, as in this day.

⁸ And after him Ibzan of Beth-Lehem judges Israel, ⁹ and he has thirty sons and thirty daughters, he has sent without and thirty daughters has brought in to his sons from without; and he judges Israel seven years. ¹⁰ And Ibzan dies, and is buried in Beth-Lehem.

² The name of the man was Elimelech, the name of his wife was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They came to the fields of Moab and stayed there.

² Now behold, there is our near relative Boaz with whose maidens you have been. Behold, he will be winnowing barley on the threshing site tonight.

¹² But now, though it is true that I am a kinsman redeemer, there is however a kinsman redeemer nearer than I.

²¹ Salmon begot Boaz, Boaz begot Obed,

¹⁰ And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;" ¹¹ and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz, ¹² and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;"

³ and his acquisitions came to be a flock of seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred pair of oxen and five hundred jennies, besides very many servants. And this man came to be the greatest of all the sons of the East.

²⁵ If I have rejoiced that my estate is vast And that my hand has found abundance,

⁵ now Salmon begets Boaz of Rahab; now Boaz begets Obed of Ruth; now Obed begets Jesse;

³² of Jesse, of Obed, of Boaz, of Salmon, of Nahson,

⁹ When you reap the harvest of your land you shall not finish the edges of your field in reaping, and the gleaning of your harvest you shall not glean.

¹⁶ You shall not go about as a defamer among your kinsmen; you shall not stand against the blood of your associate:I am Yahweh.

²² When you reap the harvest of your land you shall not finish the edges of your field when you reap, and the gleaning of your harvest you shall not glean. For the humble and for the sojourner shall you forsake them:I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

¹⁹ When you reap your harvest in your field and you have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not return to take it in. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be, so that Yahweh your Elohim may bless you in every work of your hands. ²⁰ When you beat your olive tree, you shalt not go over the foliage after yourself. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be. ²¹ When you pick the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not clean glean it after yourself. For the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow shall it be.

⁷ She pleaded, Please let me glean, and I will gather among the sheaves behind the reapers. She came early and has stayed since the morning until now; She did not even pause in the field a little while.

⁵ And it comes to pass, he is recounting to the king how he had revived the dead, and lo, the woman whose son he had revived is crying unto the king, for her house and for her field, and Gehazi said, `My lord, O king, this [is] the woman, and this her son, whom Elisha revived..

¹ During that night, sleep flit away from the king, and he said to bring the memorial scroll of records of the days; and they were read before the king. ² There it was found written that Mordecai had denounced Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs of the guardians of the threshold, who had sought to lay hand on king Xerxes.

²⁹ Are not two sparrows selling for a penny? And not one of them will be falling on the earth without your Father.

³¹ Now it happens by a coincidence, that a certain priest descended by that road, and, perceiving him, passed by on the other side."

¹¹ and that you be ambitious to be quiet, and to be engaged in your own affairs, and to be working with your hands, according as we charge you, ¹² that you may be walking respectably toward those outside and you may have need of nothing.

¹² Now such we are charging and entreating in the Lord Jesus Christ, that, working with quietness, they may be eating their own bread."

¹⁹ For I know him, that, responding, he will instruct his sons and his household after him, and keep will they the way of Yahweh to do justice and judgment, that Yahweh may bring on Abraham all that He speaks concerning him.

¹⁵ and if wrong in your eyes to serve Yahweh--choose for you to-day whom you do serve; --whether the elohims whom your fathers served, which [are] beyond the River, or the elohims of the Amorite in whose land you are dwelling; and I and my house--we serve Yahweh..

¹² and the messenger of Yahweh appears unto him, and said unto him, `Yahweh [is] with you, O mighty one of valor..

¹¹ All the people in the gate and the elders replied, We are witnesses! And the elders said, May Yahweh grant to the woman who is coming to your house to be like Rachel and like Leah, both of whom built up the house of Israel! Perform ably in Ephrathah, and proclaim a name in Bethlehem!"

²⁶ Blessed in the Name of Yahweh is he who is coming; We bless you from the House of Yahweh.

⁷ With which neither the one reaping can fill his palm, Nor the one binding sheaves his bosom pouch." ⁸ And those passing by do not even say, Yahweh's blessing be on you. Yet we do bless you all in the Name of Yahweh."

¹ {A Song of Ascents, Davidic{ Behold, how good and how pleasant For brothers to dwell as one." ² It is like the good oil upon the head, Descending upon the beard, Aaron's beard, which is descending over the slit of his coats." ³ It is like the night mist of Hermon, Which is descending upon the mountain ranges of Zion, For there Yahweh has determined the blessing to be, Life for the eon."

²⁸ And, entering to her, the messenger said, "Rejoice, favored one! The Lord is with you, you blessed among women!"

¹⁶ Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace continually by every means. The Lord be with you all!

² Yet let those having believing owners not be despising them seeing that they are brethren, but rather let them slave for them, seeing that they are believing and beloved, being supported by the slave's benefaction. These things teach and entreat."

²² The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit! Grace be with you! Amen!

¹⁰ If anyone is coming to you and is not bringing this teaching, be not taking him into your home, and say not to him, "Rejoice!" ¹¹ For he who is saying to him to be rejoicing is participating in his wicked acts.

² And saying is Abram, "My Lord Yahweh, what are You giving to me, when I am going heirless, and the son running about my house, he is Damascus Eliezer?

² And saying is Abraham to his servant, the oldest of his household, the ruler over all that is his, "Pray place your hand under my thigh,

⁴ And finding is Joseph grace in the eyes of his lord, and ministering is he to him. And making him is he supervisor over his household, and all, forsooth, which is his he gives into Joseph's hand.

¹⁶ Ruth replied, You must not persuade me to forsake you, to turn away from following you; for wherever you go I shall go, and wherever you lodge I shall lodge. Your people will be my people, and your Elohim my Elohim.

¹⁹ So they went, both of them, until they came to Bethlehem. It came about as they entered Bethlehem, that the whole city was clamoring over them, and the women said, Is this Naomi?

²² Thus Naomi returned, and Ruth her Moabite daughter-in-law being with her who had turned away from the fields of Moab. They came to Bethlehem at the start of the barley harvest.

⁸ Now, evening coming on, the lord of the vineyard is saying to his manager, 'Call the workers and pay them the wages, beginning from the last, to the first.'"

⁴⁵ Who, consequently, is the faithful and prudent slave whom the lord places over his household to give them nourishment in season?

⁴ The slothful man yearns for a thing, and his soul finds it not, Yet the soul of the industrious is conferred with richness."

³³ The fear of Yahweh is the discipline of wisdom, And before glory goes humility."

²³ One who is destitute speaks with supplications, Yet the rich man responds with roughness."

²⁹ Do you perceive a man who is expert in his work? He shall station himself before kings; By no means shall he station himself before obscure men.

¹⁰ All that your hand finds to do, do with your vigor, For there is no doing or devising or knowledge or wisdom In the unseen where you are going."

³ "Happy, in spirit, are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

¹¹ in diligence not slothful, fervent in spirit, slaving for the Lord,

⁹ Now we may not be despondent in ideal doing, for in due season we shall be reaping, if we do not faint."

²¹ to our God and Father, being subject to one another in the fear of Christ."

⁵ Likewise, younger men may be subject to the elder, yet all wear the servile apron of humility with one another, for God "is resisting the proud, yet is giving grace to the humble." ⁶ Be humbled, then, under the mighty hand of God, that He should be exalting you in season,

⁶ And Yahweh adds to call again Samuel, and Samuel rises and goes unto Eli, and said, `Here [am] I, for you have called for me;' and he said, `I have not called, my son, turn back, lie down..

¹⁶ And Eli calls Samuel, and said, `Samuel, my son;' and he said, `Here [am] I..

¹³ And his servants come nigh, and speak unto him, and say, `My father, a great thing had the prophet spoken unto you--do you not do [it]? and surely, when he has said unto you, Wash, and be clean..

⁷ Do tell me, you whom my soul loves, Where do you graze your flock? Where do you recline them at noon? Why should I become like a muffled woman Beside the droves of your partners? ⁸ If you do not know for yourself, loveliest among women, Go forth for yourself at the heels of the flock, And graze your kids by the tabernacles of the shepherds."

² And lo! they brought to Him a paralytic, prostrate on a couch. And Jesus, perceiving their faith, said to the paralytic, "Courage, child! Pardoned are your sins!"

²² Now Jesus, being turned and perceiving her, said, "Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.And saved was the woman from that hour."

⁷ Now going, herald, saying that 'Near is the kingdom of the heavens!'" ⁸ The infirm be curing, the dead be rousing, lepers be cleansing, demons be casting out. Gratuitously you got; gratuitously be giving." ⁹ You should not be acquiring gold, nor yet silver, nor yet copper in your girdles, no beggar's bag for the road, ¹⁰ Nor yet two tunics, nor yet sandals, nor yet a club; for worthy is the worker of his nourishment." ¹¹ Now, into whichever city or village you may be entering, inquire who in it is worthy, and there remain till you should be coming out."

⁸ For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is grave, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is agreeable, whatever is renowned - if there is any virtue, and if any applause, be taking these into account."

⁶ And saying is the Elohim to him in the dream, "Moreover, I know that, in the sincerity of your heart you did this, and I, moreover, am keeping you back from sinning against Me. Therefore, I did not allow you to touch her.

¹⁸ And saying is she, "Drink, my lord.And hastening is she and is letting down her jar on her hand and giving him to drink. ¹⁹ And finishing is she giving him to drink and is saying, "Moreover, for your camels will I bail till they should finish drinking. ²⁰ And hastening is she and emptying her jar into the drinking basin, and running again to the well to bail. And bailing is she for all his camels.

²¹ Be gracious to me! be gracious to me, you, my associates! For the hand of Eloah has touched me.

¹⁵ Saying, You must not touch My anointed ones, And to My prophets you must not do evil!"

²⁹ So is he who comes to the wife of his associate; Anyone who touches her shall not be held innocent.

⁴² And whoever should be giving one of these little ones only a cool cup to drink, in the name of a disciple, verily, I am saying to you, by no means should he be losing his wages."

⁷ A certain woman of Samaria is coming to draw water. Jesus is saying to her, "Give Me a drink, ⁸ for His disciples had come away into the city that they should be buying nourishment. ⁹ The Samaritan woman, then, is saying to Him, "How are you, being a Jew, requesting a drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?(For Jews are not beholden to Samaritans.)" ¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her, "If you were aware of the gratuity of God, and Who it is Who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would request Him, and He would give you living water." ¹¹ The woman is saying to Him, "Lord, you have not even a bucket, and the well is deep. Whence, then, have you living water?

¹ Now, concerning what you write to me: It is ideal for a man not to be touching a woman."

¹⁸ We are aware that everyone who has been begotten of God is not sinning, but he who is begotten of God is keeping himself, and the wicked one is not touching him."

² And lifting is he his eyes and seeing, and behold! Three mortals are stationed by him. And seeing is he and running to meet them from the opening of the tent, and is prostrating to the earth.

² Then Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and let me glean among the ears of grain behind someone in whose eyes I may find favor. She replied to her, Go, my daughter.

¹³ She replied, May I always find favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me, and you have spoken to the heart of your maidservant. As for me, I am not even like one of your maidservants.

²³ And Abigail sees David, and hastes and comes down from off the ass, and falls before David on her face, and bows herself to the earth,

⁸ And he bows himself, and said, `What [is] your servant, that you have turned unto the dead dog--such as I?.

²⁸ for all the house of my father have been nothing except men of death before my lord the king, and you do set your servant among those eating at your table, and what right have I any more--even to cry any more unto the king?.

³ And the son of the foreigner obligated to Yahweh must not speak, saying, `Separating, yea separating me is Yahweh from His people,' and the eunuch must not say, `Behold! I am a dry tree.'" ⁴ For thus says Yahweh, "To the eunuchs who will keep `My sabbaths, and choose that in which I delight, and hold fast to My covenant, ⁵ then I give to them, in My house and in My walls, an acclaiming hand, and a name better than sons and daughters. A name eonian will I give to them, which shall not be cut off." ⁶ And the sons of the foreigner obligated to Yahweh to minister to Him, and to love the name of Yahweh, to become His servants, and everyone keeping from violating My sabbath, and holding fast My covenant, ⁷ I bring them also to My holy mountain, and I make them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their ascent approaches and their sacrifices shall ascend for acceptance on My altar, for My house a house of prayer shall be called, for all the peoples, ⁸ averring is my Lord Yahweh, Convener of the expelled of Israel. "Furthermore, I will convene to him others being convened to him."

²² And lo! a Canaanitish woman, coming out from those boundaries, cried, saying, "Be merciful to me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is evilly demonized." ²³ Yet He answered her not a word. And, approaching, His disciples asked Him, saying, "Dismiss her, for she is crying behind us." ²⁴ Now He, answering, said, "I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel." ²⁵ Yet she, coming, worships Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" ²⁶ Yet He, answering, said, "It is not ideal to be taking the children's bread and to be casting it to the puppies." ²⁷ Yet she said, "Yes, Lord! For the puppies also are eating of the scraps that are falling from their masters' table." ²⁸ Then, answering, Jesus said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it come to be with you as you are wanting.And healed was her daughter from that hour."

³⁵ For I hunger and you give Me to eat' I thirst and you give Me drink; a stranger was I and you took Me in;

⁴³ And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord may be coming to me?

⁴⁸ For He looks on the humiliation of His slave. For lo! from now on all generations will count me happy,

⁶ Now Jesus went with them. Now, as He is already not far away from the house, the centurion sends friends to Him, saying to Him, "Lord, do not bother, for not enough am I that Thou mayest be entering under my roof." ⁷ Wherefore, neither do I count myself worthy to be coming to Thee. But say the word, and my boy will be healed."

¹⁶ And he falls on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan." ¹⁷ Now, answering, Jesus said, "Are not the ten cleansed? Yet where are the nine? ¹⁸ Were none found returning to give glory to God except this foreigner?

¹⁰ Let us have fond affection for one another with brotherly fondness, in honor deeming one another first,

¹¹ Naomi replied, Turn back, my daughters! Why should you go with me? Have I yet sons in my internal parts who might become husbands for you?

¹⁴ Then they lifted up their voice and wept again; and Orpah kissed her husband's mother and turned back to her people. As for Ruth, she clung to her. ¹⁵ So Naomi said to Ruth, Behold, your sister-in-law has turned back to her people and to her elohim. Turn back after your sister-in-law. ¹⁶ Ruth replied, You must not persuade me to forsake you, to turn away from following you; for wherever you go I shall go, and wherever you lodge I shall lodge. Your people will be my people, and your Elohim my Elohim. ¹⁷ Where you die, I shall die; and there I shall be entombed. Thus may Yahweh do to me and thus add to it if anything but death parts me from you. ¹⁸ When Naomi realized that she was resolute to go with her, she left off arguing with her further. ¹⁹ So they went, both of them, until they came to Bethlehem. It came about as they entered Bethlehem, that the whole city was clamoring over them, and the women said, Is this Naomi? ²⁰ She replied to them, You must not call me Naomi. Call me Mara, for He Who-Suffices has brought intense bitterness on me. ²¹ I was full when I went out, yet empty has Yahweh caused me to return. Why call me Naomi when Yahweh has humbled me, and He Who-Suffices has done evil to me? ²² Thus Naomi returned, and Ruth her Moabite daughter-in-law being with her who had turned away from the fields of Moab. They came to Bethlehem at the start of the barley harvest.

⁵ Hand over your way to Yahweh; Trust Him, and He shall do it." ⁶ So He will make your righteousness shine forth like the light, And your right judgment like the noonday sun."

¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and see, and stretch out your ear, And forget your people and the house of your father."

¹¹ And bringing the ships onto the land, leaving all, they follow Him."

²³ What is easier, to be saying, 'Pardoned are you your sins,' or to be saying, 'Rouse and walk'?

³³ Thus, then, everyone of you who is not taking leave of all of his possessions, can not be My disciple."

²⁹ Now He said to them, "Verily, I am saying to you that there is no one who leaves house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children on account of the kingdom of God, ³⁰ who may not by all means be getting back manyfold in this era, and in the coming eon, life eonian."

⁸ By faith Abraham, being called, obeys, coming out into the place which he was about to obtain to enjoy as an allotment, and came out, not versed in where he is coming." ⁹ By faith he sojourns in the land of promise as in an alien land, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the joint enjoyers of the allotment of the same promise. "

²⁴ By faith Moses, becoming great, disowns the term "son of Pharaoh's daughter, ²⁵ preferring rather to be maltreated with the people of God than to have a temporary enjoyment of sin, ²⁶ deeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, for he looked away to the reward."

¹⁹ and that a man does find his enemy, and has sent him away in a good manner; and Yahweh does repay you good for that which you did to me this day.

⁸ Keep me as the pupil of Your eye; Conceal me in the shadow of Your wings

¹¹ Moreover, Your servant is being warned by them; In the keeping of them is a great consequence."

⁷ How precious is Your benignity, O Elohim, So that the sons of humanity may take refuge in the shadow of Your wings."

¹ {A Davidic Inscribed Psalm{ {When he ran away from the face of Saul into the cave.{ Be gracious to me, O Elohim, be gracious to me; For in You my soul takes refuge, And in the shadow of Your wings shall I take refuge Until the woes pass away."

¹¹ Then mankind shall say, Yea, there is fruit for the righteous; Yea, there is an Elohim Who is judging in the earth! {Permanent{ {O Do Not Bring Ruin!{ "

⁴ Let me sojourn in Your tent for the eons; Let me take refuge in the concealment of Your wings. {Interlude{

⁷ For You became my Help, And in the shadow of Your wings shall I be jubilant."

⁴ With His pinions shall He overshadow you, And under His wings shall you take refuge; A large shield and encircling-guard is His faithfulness."

¹⁸ The wicked one makes false wages, Yet he who sows righteousness reaps faithful hire."

¹⁸ For then you have a hereafter, And your expectation shall not be cut off."

¹² Rejoice and exult, for your wages are vast in the heavens. For thus they persecute the prophets before you.

¹ Yet take heed not to be doing your righteousness in front of men, in order to be gazed at by them, otherwise surely you have no wages with your Father Who is in the heavens."

⁴¹ He who is receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet shall be obtaining a prophet's wages. And he who is receiving a just man in the name of a just man shall be obtaining a just man's wages. ⁴² And whoever should be giving one of these little ones only a cool cup to drink, in the name of a disciple, verily, I am saying to you, by no means should he be losing his wages."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!"

³⁵ Moreover, be loving your enemies, and be doing good, and be lending, expecting nothing from them, and your wages will be vast in the heavens, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

¹² Now He said to him also who has invited Him, "Whenever you may be making a luncheon or a dinner, do not be summoning your friends, nor yet your brothers, nor yet your relatives, nor yet rich neighbors, lest at some time they also should be inviting you in return, and repayment may come to you." ¹³ But, whenever you may be making a reception, invite the poor, the cripples, the lame, the blind, ¹⁴ and happy will you be, for they have nothing to repay you, for it will be repaid you in the resurrection of the just."

¹⁸ Let no one be arbitrating against you, who wants, in humility and the ritual of the messengers, to parade what he has seen, feignedly, puffed up by his fleshly mind,

¹⁸ May the Lord grant to him to be finding mercy from the Lord in that day! And how much he serves in Ephesus you know quite well.

⁸ Furthermore, there is reserved for me the wreath of righteousness, which the Lord, the just Judge, will be paying to me in that day; yet not to me only, but also to all who love His advent."

¹⁰ For God is not unjust, to be forgetting your work and the love which you display for His name when you serve the saints, and are serving."

⁶ Now apart from faith it is impossible to be well pleasing, for he who is coming to God must believe that He is, and is becoming a Rewarder of those who are seeking Him out."

²⁶ deeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, for he looked away to the reward."

⁸ And saying is he, "What is all this camp to you which I encountered?And saying is he, "To find grace for your servant in the eyes of my lord.

¹⁰ And saying is Jacob, "You must not, pray. Pray, if I find grace in your eyes, then take my present offering from my hand, for therefore I see your face, as if seeing the face of the Elohim, and accepting me are you.

⁵ You are arranging a table before me in front of my foes; You have sleeked my head with oil; My cup is satiated.

²⁴ There is one who disperses yet is enhanced more, And another who keeps back more than what is upright yet ends only with a lack." ²⁵ The soul who gives a blessing is conferred with richness, And he who waters, he himself shall be watered also."

⁸ Yet the patron counsels willingness, and he, in the willingness, is confirmed."

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the famishing, and the humble, brought down, shall you bring home? In case you are seeing the naked, then you cover him with a cloak? And from your own flesh you are not obscuring yourself?

¹⁰ and promote for the famishing the bread for your soul, and the humbled soul shall you satisfy. Then radiant will be your light in the darkness, and your gloom as the noon." ¹¹ And you are guided by Yahweh continually, and He satisfies, on a garish day, your soul. And your bones will He liberate. And you become as a soaked garden, and as a vent of water whose waters are not defaulting."

²⁰ And they all ate and are satisfied. And they pick up of the superfluous fragments twelve panniers full.

⁵ Now if anyone of you is lacking wisdom, let him be requesting it from God, Who is giving to all generously and is not reproaching, and it shall be given to him."

⁹ He disperses; he gives to the needy; His righteousness is standing into the future; His horn shall be exalted in glory.

¹⁷ He who is gracious to a poor man obligates Yahweh, And He shall pay his requital to him."

⁴⁰ And, answering, the King shall be declaring to them, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it to one of these, the least of My brethren, you do it to Me.'"

¹³ contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality."

⁵ and not according as we expect, but themselves they give first to the Lord, and to us through the will of God." ⁶ So that we entreat Titus that, according as he undertakes before, thus also should he be completing in you this grace also." ⁷ But, even as you are superabounding in everything - in faith and word and knowledge and all diligence and the love that flows out of you into us - that you may be superabounding in this grace also." ⁸ I am not saying this as an injunction, but, through the diligence of others, testing also the genuineness of this love of yours." ⁹ For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, being rich, because of you He became poor, that you, by His poverty, should be rich." ¹⁰ And in this I am giving an opinion, for this is expedient for you, who, for a year past, undertake before, not only the doing but the willing also." ¹¹ Yet now complete the doing also, so that, even as the eagerness to will, thus also may be the completion, out of what you have."

⁷ For much joy have I had and consolation in your love, seeing that the compassions of the saints are soothed through you, brother."

¹⁷ Now whoever may be having a livelihood in this world, and may be beholding his brother having need, and should be locking his compassions from him - how is the love of God remaining in him? ¹⁸ Little children, we should not be loving in word, neither in tongue, but in act and truth."

²⁷ She watches over the affairs of her household And does not eat the bread of slothfulness.

¹¹ The ephah and the bath is of one measure, for the bath to bear a tenth of the homer, and the ephah a tenth of the homer:according to the homer is its measurement." ¹² And, the shekel [is] twenty gerah:twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels--is your maneh."

¹⁴ At eating time Boaz said to her, Come close hither and eat from the bread; dip your morsel in the vinegar. So Ruth sat down by the side of the reapers, and Boaz held out toasted grain to her. She ate and was satisfied and had some left over.

¹² Now as they are filled, He is saying to His disciples, "Gather the superfluous fragments, lest some should perish." ¹³ They gathered them, then, and cram twelve panniers with fragments of the five cakes of barley bread which are superfluous for those who were fed."

⁴ Now if any widow has children or descendants, let them learn to be devoted to their own household first and reciprocate by paying their progenitors, for this is welcome in God's sight."

¹⁰ Now she fell on her face, bowed herself down to the earth and said to him, For what reason have I found favor in your eyes to recognize me, since I am a foreigner?

²¹ And he raises up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raises up the right pillar, and calls its name Jachin, and he raises up the left pillar, and calls its name Boaz;"

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Happy is he who is acting intelligently toward the poor and needy; In a day of peril, Yahweh shall provide his escape."

¹³ through the testedness of this dispensation, glorifying God at the subjection of your avowal to the evangel of Christ, and in the generosity of the contribution for them and for all, ¹⁴ and in their petition for you, longing to be acquainted with you, because of the transcendent grace of God on you." ¹⁵ Now thanks be to God for His indescribable gratuity!

²⁵ In case your brother is reduced to poverty and sells use of some of his holding, then his redeemer, one near to him, will come and redeem his brother's sold land-use.

⁵ In case brothers dwell together, and one of them dies, and he has no son, the wife of the dead one shall not come to the outside, to an alien man. Spread the hem of your garment over your maidservant, since you are a kinsman redeemer. ¹⁰ At that he said, Blessed be you by Yahweh, my daughter! You have shown your latter kindness to be better than the first, in not going at all after the men in their prime, whether poor or rich.

⁶ The kinsman redeemer replied, I am not able to redeem it for myself, lest I impair my own allotment. As for you, redeem my redemption right for yourself, for I am not able to redeem it.

¹⁴ Then the women said to Naomi, Blessed be Yahweh Who has not let your redeemer cease today; may his name be proclaimed in Israel!"

⁵ And David sends messengers unto the men of Jabesh-Gilead, and said unto them, `Blessed [are] you of Yahweh, in that you have done this kindness with your lord, with Saul, that you bury him.

¹ And David said, `Is there yet any left to the house of Saul, and I do with him kindness because of Jonathan?.

²⁵ Yet as for me, I know my Redeemer is living, And after this He shall arise on the soil;"

¹² For I made a way of escape for the humble who implored, And the orphan and him who had no helper. ¹³ The blessing of the one perishing came on me, And I caused the heart of the widow to jubilate.

¹⁷ The close associate keeps friendship at all times, And a brother is born to share distress."

¹⁰ Now I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that at length, for once your disposition toward me blossomed, to which you were disposed also, yet you lacked occasion."

¹⁶ May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshes me and was not ashamed of my chain, ¹⁷ but, coming to be in Rome, he seeks me diligently and found me." ¹⁸ May the Lord grant to him to be finding mercy from the Lord in that day! And how much he serves in Ephesus you know quite well.

⁷ She pleaded, Please let me glean, and I will gather among the sheaves behind the reapers. She came early and has stayed since the morning until now; She did not even pause in the field a little while. ⁸ Boaz said to Ruth, Behold, hearken, my daughter. You must not go to glean in another field; also do not cross over from this one. And thus shall you follow hard behind my maidens.

²² Naomi replied to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, It is best, my daughter, that you go forth with his maidens, so that the lads in another field may not touch on you.

¹⁰ Do not forsake your associate or your father's associate; Do not set out to your brother's house in the day of your calamity; Better a neighbor who is near than a brother far away.

⁸ If you do not know for yourself, loveliest among women, Go forth for yourself at the heels of the flock, And graze your kids by the tabernacles of the shepherds."

⁹ You shall count off seven weeks for yourself. From the start of the scythe in the raised grain shall you start to count off seven weeks.

⁶ Go to the ant, O slothful one; See its ways and be wise;" ⁷ Note that there is no captain for it, Superintendent or ruler;" ⁸ Yet it is preparing its bread in summer; It hoards its food at harvest.

¹ A wise son heeds his father's admonition, Yet a mocker does not hearken to rebuke."

²⁰ He who walks with the wise becomes wise, Yet he who associates with the stupid is imperiled."

³³ Be not deceived: evil conversations are corrupting kind characters.

¹ Children, be obeying your parents, in the Lord, for this is just." ² Honor your father and mother' (which is the first precept with a promise), ³ that it may be becoming well with you, and you should be a long time on the earth."
