²⁸ And about clothing why be over careful? Consider the lilies of the field how it grows; not it labors, nor spins;

²⁵ For this I say to you: Not be over careful the life of you, what you may eat, and what you may drink; nor to the body of you, what you may put on. Not the life more is the food, and the body the clothing?

³¹ Not therefore you may be over careful, saying: What may we eat, or what may we drink, or what may we put on?

¹⁰ not a bag for a journey nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff. Worthy for the laborer of the food of him is.

¹¹ Answering and he says to them: He having two tunics, let him share with the not having; and he having meats, in like manner let him do.

²⁷ Observe you the lilies, how it grows; not it labors, nor it spins. I say but to you, not even Solomon in all the glory of himself was clothed like one of these.
